Poignant

Times changed even if she didn't want it to, she wasn't exactly the next top model and she spent a good portion of six years working under them, still, that wasn't the dream but it was a good experience

Mister Darcy died and she left Greendale shattered, he helped her often with interviews and he became her friend. On the other note he never really told her why he picked her.

She lived quietly in her normal clothes again thankfully but a few people could point her from the images unlike her old days, she was most preferred.

She went to school and received bills at home, went on get-togethers that ended up sub-par.

She saw a paper hanging on her doorframe, Neptunium High was having a reunion and she was undecided on whether to go or not.

She went but only to listen to her former colleagues gloat about their jobs and buying a yacht, a group of males flocked her and she recognized her teammates nodding.

Declan, the former goalkeeper touched her head "You've gotten a few inches on you"

"Where've you been?"

"In Denver, with that sweetheart manager of hers" Cain snickered having his drink and they teased him.

She crossed her hands over her chest and they turned grim in a moment.

"Too bad, I was looking for a wingman"

They laughed

"Aside from Ronnie, I'm disappointed that none of you are keeping in shape" Skyler, the former midfielder said astonished, he was a freelance street jumper now and worked on YouTube.

"I still do some reps and lunges" AJ winked at Ronnie.

Some of them still didn't attend but she met them well.

"I bet all of you don't have the stamina to stay on the field"

They faced Declan and they seemed like their youthful selves again when they stepped outside searching the court for a soccer ball.

Skyler kicked up the wall and flipped kicking the ball back in.

"Don't rub it in, Ricochet"

She watched them shuffle and Prince fall on his back.

"I prefer cricket anyways" He mumbled

"You hated cricket"

"I don't now and AJ can attest to that" He dusted his shirt.

"Oh and he uses his big words now" Declan nudged Skyler with his elbow.

The ball rolled to her and they prodded her to kick it over, she trudged back and kicked it, the ball flew over Declan's hands and they flinched at the poor fellow that got shot in the crotch.

"Not funny guys," Jude said hanging on to the ball, he could hardly walk and settled on a bench tossing the ball to them.

"Jude"

"I'm going to deal with whoever did that" He groaned and scowled at Ronnie.

"Meet your attacker," Cain said pointing at her and his lip twisted.

"Funny," He said able to get up again.

"Ah, it's getting late, my wife will kill me," Declan said and took his coat,

"It's only nine pm mate,"

"Take me home on the way" Skyler ran after him.

The party was over and it was a delight meeting them, Jude sneered at Ronnie before he left.

She held her coat and walked to the school's enclosure.

"Five PM? I thought it was nine pm" He squished his ear and turned around the empty hall.

"Didn't you read the card?"

"No, I didn't get a card"

"Sorry lad, you missed it"

"Thank you, for wasting my time" He cursed and turned off his phone.

She stepped closer at the pristine honey brown hair that was unmistakable, she winced when he turned to notice her.

"Do you want anything?" He asked her.

She thought she had seen Mister Darcy and hugged her coat and shook her head, with a gust of air he walked past her to the exit.

All in all, it was nice to unwind about about her looks for a change, life was easier that way~
