Like I Have Anything Better To Be Doing

Vincent sat down next to Maya and didn't say anything as the episode progressed. He hadn't talked during any of the movies they had watched together either so she wasn't expecting it when his head lolled onto the top of hers. He was out like a light.

Those phone calls must have taken more out of him than he let on. Her husband, who frequently pulled all-nighters, never fell asleep before midnight as far as she had seen.

"You're really kind of pitiful, you know that?" she murmured to him. "You need to take better care of yourself."

She knew she had no room to talk. Their relationship wasn't the kind where one person could nag the other anyway. Still, she wished he would be more mindful about his sleeping habits. This was two nights in a row he had fallen asleep on her now.
