She Truly Was His Partner In Crime

It took Maya a while to figure out how to design her underwater prison to withstand the pressure of being so deep under the ocean. She had suggested that for a few reasons. It would be almost impossible to find, it would damage the credibility of the people Vincent kidnapped when they went back because no one would believe it, and she enjoyed a challenge. No one had ever built something like this before.

She never claimed to be on a moral high ground compared to her husband. She didn't have a problem with doing things that were illegal. Some laws were made to benefit the few instead of the many and should be abolished.

The main difference between the two of them was that Vincent was a man of action while she was more passive. It didn't matter so much that the world sucked as long as she was doing okay.

She hated the world but accepted things as they were. He hated the world and wanted to destroy it to build something better.
