High School Days

After returning back home from the hospital, Siyi started recollecting the memories of her high school days in Seoul...

When Siyi got admitted in Seoul High School, she was very excited to meet new friends...

Unfortunately, she got up late on the first day of her high school as her alarm clock was broken and she slept without noticing it...

After getting up, Siyi got terrified by looking at the clock...

"Ommo!! How can I wake up so late?? Is this clock broken??

Ani (No)!! Its not broken... I got up late...

Aish!! Whats wrong with me!!

How couldn't I listen the alarm??"

She went to the kitchen and asked her granny...

"Halmeoni (Granny) !! Why didn't you wake me up?? You know today's my first day in high school...

How can I be late??

If I couldn't listen the alarm, at least you should have come to wake me up...

Now... I'll get late on my first day..."

The first class had already started...

Go and sit over there..." the teacher said pointing towards a desk.

Siyi went to the desk and sat beside her deskmate...

Her deskmate was none other than Ray...

Siyi introduced herself to Ray...

"Hello!! I'm Siyi... What's your name??"

"Ray..." replied Ray after few seconds.

"Nice to meet you, Ray..." greeted Siyi.

But Ray ignored her...

After class, a group of girls gathered at the bench where Siyi and Ray were seating...

"Ray!! This is for you...

I got up early today just to prepare breakfast for you...

Please have a taste..." spoke one of the gathered girls, handing Ray a tiffin box.

"Ray!! Yesterday I visited the Seocho Maths Museum...

I found a very good book there and bought it for you..." spoke another girl, handing him a book.

"Ray!! I couldn't understand the last question of the fifth exercise...

Can you solve this for me??" spoke another girl, handing him her notebook.

Watching these girls, Siyi got startled and spoke to Ray,

"You seem to be quite famous in this school..."

Ray took the notebook of the third girl and solved the question for her...

Getting annoyed by those girls, Ray got off his seat and went out to the basketball court with his best friend, Jun...

"See... Ray solved the question I asked him...

I told you guys... Your tricks will not work on Ray..." spoke out the third girl in a creepy tone.

The other girls pulled a long face and went back to their seats...

Within a few seconds, a girl from another class entered into their classroom and shouted,

"Listen everyone...

Ray is at the basketball court... Hurry up if you want to watch him playing basketball..."

All the girls screamed aloud and rushed towards the basketball stadium...

"Is he so famous that all the girls are mad for him??"

Siyi spoke to herself in a bewildered tone...

All of a sudden, someone spoke out from her back...

"Of course!! Can't you see??

90% of the girls in our school are crazy for him..."

Siyi got frightened and turned back...

"Hii... I'm Kia...

Hope we can get together well..." spoke out the girl sitting behind Siyi, forwarding her hand for shaking.

Siyi gave her a warm smile and shaked hands with her...

"Don't you want to watch Ray playing basketball??" asked Kia in a friendly tone.

"I'm not interested in watching basketball...

Moreover... Ray doesn't seem to be friendly at all... His attitude is too cold... I wonder how these girls are crazy for him!!" spoke out Siyi in an infuriating tone.

"You'll know that after watching him at the basketball court..." replied Kia.

"Don't tell me you're also crazy for him!!" asked Siyi in uncertainty.

Kia burst into laughter and spoke out,

"How can that happen??

Let me make it clear to you... I'm not interested in boys..."

Siyi got shocked after listening to Kia's words and spoke out in a trembling tone with widely open eyes, pushing herself back,

"You... You mean... You're interested in girls??"

Siyi breathed out in relief and replied,

Kia laughed aloud and spoke out,

Come now... Let's go to the basketball stadium...

It's boring to stay alone in the classroom..."

Kia and Siyi went together to the basketball court to watch the match...

Siyi sat on one of the seats in the basketball stadium, unlike other girls who stood and screamed to cheer up the players...

Kia sat beside her...

Soon the match started...

Ray scored maximum goals by shooting the ball through the hoop...

All the girls present at the stadium started screaming louder to cheer up Ray...

But there was one girl who cheered for Jun...

"She's the only one here who is cheering for someone else..." spoke out Siyi.

"Of course!! She has been pursuing Jun since two years, but couldn't succeed...

Her name is Minah... She's in the class next to ours... She's completely crazy for Jun..." explained Kia.

"Who is Jun??" asked Siyi anxiously.

"The tall, skinny boy next to Ray...

He's Jun... Ray's best friend...

They have been together since childhood..." replied Kia pointing her forefinger towards Jun playing in the basketball court.

After first period of the match, Ray took off his shirt as it was drenched in his sweat...

All the girls shouted in excitement while watching Ray taking off his shirt...

His scorching addictive appearance reflected an irresistible charm...

Even Siyi couldn't stop her eyes from looking at Ray...

"That's freaking hot!!" murmured Siyi while glaring at Ray.

Siyi gulped her saliva and rushed towards her classroom as she couldn't resist to stand longer and watch Ray...

"Siyi!! Wait...

Where are you going??"

Kia followed her...

After entering the classroom, Siyi felt scorching...

She took out her water bottle from her school bag and drank the whole bottle of water at once...

"Siyi!! Are you okay??

Why did you come back in such a hurry??" asked Kia in a perturbed tone, watching Siyi drinking so much water without break.

After drinking, Siyi sat on her bench and calmed herself...

"Siyi!! Don't tell me that you're getting thirst because..."

Kia didn't finish asking when Siyi interrupted her and told her,

"No way... I didn't feel hot because of Ray... It's just that I ran so far to come here... That's why I'm thirsty..."

"But when did I mention Ray?? Aann..??" Kia cross-questioned her to tease her.

Siyi hid her face with her palms in embarrassment...

"Okay! Okay! No need to feel awkward...

After all, Ray is so seductive... It's common for girls to fall for him..." spoke out Kia in a creepy tone.

"Who said I fell for him??

I'm not insane...

Even if he'll be the last boy of this world, I'll never fall for him...

I would rather stay single, whole life than falling for an iceberg like him..." replied Siyi in a maddening tone.

In the meantime, all the girls of their classroom came back and started gossiping...

"Oh My God!! Ray is so handsome and tempting... I'll stop eating my favorite chestnuts, if he becomes mine..." spoke one of the girls, who was crazy for Ray.

"You... You better look at yourself...

How can you even imagine that Ray will fall for you??" questioned another girl in jealousy.

"What do you mean?? You licentious witch..."

The previous girl scolded her back for insulting her.

Soon, both the girls started fighting with each other in bellicoseness by pulling each other's hair, while the other girls tried to stop them...

After few minutes, the rest of the students came back to their classroom and everyone settled down...

After school, Kia introduced Siyi to all her friends, including Hyuna and Hyesuna... And soon they became close friends...

Four of them studied together, ate together and chilled together...

They shared each and everything with each other...

Siyi was very happy to get such lovely friends as soon as she joined a new school...

But somewhere inside, she felt unhappy as she couldn't get along with Ray, as he always manifested a cold attitude towards Siyi which exasperated her everytime she tried to communicate with him...

Ray continued to ignore Siyi even though they were deskmates until.....
