Unpredictable Situation

Ray's father and Siyi's father were childhood friends... They had a very good family relationship...

When Siyi and Ray were in kindergarten, their grandparents held their betrothal. But they didn't remember as they were kids at that time...

Siyi's mother passed away while giving birth to her, due to some internal injuries...

From then on, her grandmother took her care as her father was always busy at his workplace...

When Siyi was 5, she moved to her hometown as her granny had some business there...

Soon after moving to their hometown, Siyi's father was accused of assassination and he lost his life in the jail within a few days of his arrest...

"Siyi!! Believe Me!! I'm not a murderer...

I never did anything bad which will ashame you... I didn't kill anyone...

Believe your Apaa!!"

These were the last words, Siyi's father spoke to her in the jail before his death...

Siyi always believed her father...

She knew that her father was innocent...

"Apaa!! I know you're innocent...

I know you'll never harm anyone... Let alone murder...

I promise you Apaa!! I'll prove your innocence to the world... I'll never let you down...

I promise!!!"

Siyi took the oath of proving her father's innocence, after his death...

Siyi studied very hard and worked in the farms to earn for the living expenses... Finally, she was successful in getting a seat in Seoul High School with full scholarship...

After moving to Seoul, Siyi rented a small house with space for setting up a restaurant...

With the money she saved by working in the farm, Siyi started a home restaurant which was managed by her granny...

After joining the high school, Siyi successfully made friendship with Hyuna, Kia and Hyesuna...

But she couldn't start her friendship with Ray as he had a cold personality...

One day, while returning from the school, Siyi found some boys harassing a girl...

"What are you guys doing?" Siyi questioned the boys bravely.

"Who are you??

Don't meddle in other's affairs...

Mind your business if you want to live peacefully..."

One of boys warned Siyi.

"Who said I don't want to involve in other's matters??

I'm here to get involved...

Step back if you don't wanna get beaten by a girl..." spoke Siyi confidently.

"It seems like this girl wants to seduce us... Guys!! Leave her and catch this fish..."

One of the boys ordered the rest boys.

Siyi gave a sign to the girl through her eyes and asked her to run...

After the girl went away, Siyi fooled the boys by shouting,

"Police!! Police!!"

And she ran away...

The boys ran behind Siyi to catch her...

"Run behind her...

This way..."

Siyi got into a mall to escape from those boys... But they followed her everywhere...

Finally Siyi found the ladies's washroom and hid herself for 4 hours...

"Lets go!! We'll deal with her some other day..."

Siyi heard the boys going back...

She finally breathed a sigh of relief...

"O God!!"

She took a long breath and went back home...

When she reached home, she found something frightening...

Siyi's granny was crying loudly and all the stuffs in their house were falling on the ground...

Even the furnitures of the restaurant were broken down by those brats...

"Halmeoni! What happened?? What's all this??"

Siyi asked her granny in shock.

Siyi's granny explained her everything that happened during her absence...

"Some boys entered our home and broke everything... They also warned me to leave this place as soon as possible..."

Siyi's granny weeped loudly while explaining her.

Siyi understood that those were the deeds of the punks, whom she challenged...

Siyi couldn't make her granny suffer because of her fault... So she decided to leave that place...

"Don't worry Halmeoni!! I won't let you endure such things anymore...

We'll leave this place soon..."

Siyi comforted her granny.

Siyi's granny didn't want to let Siyi face more hardships... So she talked to Ray's father and decided to stay at their home temporarily...

Siyi was unknown to the fact that she was going to stay at Ray's home...

On the very next day, Siyi moved to Ray's house with her granny...

"Halmeoni!! You should have called me earlier...

I could have brought you here to stay with us..."

Ray's father told to Siyi's granny.

"How can we give you trouble??" replied granny.

"Halmeoni! You don't treat me as your son...

Am I an outsider to you??" asked Ray's father.

Siyi's granny smiled generously...

"Siyi has become more and more pretty than before..." spoke out Ray's mother after noticing Siyi.

Siyi gave her a sheepish smile...

"Siyi!! You are in class one, right??

My son is also in class one... You should be knowing him..." said Ray's mother and called Ray to come down.

"Son!! Come down and greet Halmeoni..." asked Ray's mother.

Ray came down and greeted Siyi's granny...

"Halmeoni!! Annyeong..."

When Siyi turned her face, she was shocked to find Ray...

"Ray!!" called out Siyi in a staggered tone.

"Oh!! So you guys know each other... That's great then...

Halmeoni!! Do you remember??

Harabuji held the betrothal of Ray and Siyi when they were young...

I couldn't imagine the two children look so good together..." spoke Ray's mother.

Siyi got nervous and gulped her saliva...

She couldn't understand whether everything happening then were real or just an illusion...

This was the beginning of their beautiful yet unpredictable love story.....

To be continued......
