"Ray!! Wait...
From today onwards accompany Siyi to your school..."
Ray's mother spoke to Ray.
"But Omaa!! She's not a kid...
She can go by herself..." replied Ray.
"You silly boy!! Don't you know...
It's not safe for girls to move alone on the streets...
Take her with you..." spoke out Ray's mother.
"But Omaa...." shouted out Ray unwillingly.
"No more questions... Wait here...
I'll call Siyi..." ordered Ray's mother.
After Siyi came down the stairs...
"Siyi!! From today onwards, Ray will accompany you to school"
Ray's mother spoke to Siyi.
"Its okay Sungmo (Aunt)...
I can go by myself...
No need to trouble Ray...", spoke out Siyi in generosity.
"This is your Sungmo's order... You shouldn't disobey me... Arasseo (Understood)??"
Ray's mother replied to Siyi.
"Okay Sungmo!!
See you after school..." spoke out Siyi and went to school with Ray.
On the way...
"Thank you for accompanying me..."
Siyi showed her gratitude towards Ray.
"No need to be so formal...
And by the way, I didn't do it willingly...
It was just because Omaa asked me to accompany you and I didn't want to upset her...
So don't think so high of yourself...
And another thing... Don't you dare tell anyone at school that you are living at my house..." warned Ray rudely.
Disappointed Siyi went to school and spent the whole day pulling a long face...
"What happened Siyi?? You don't look so well today...
Is there anything bothering you??" asked Kia while they were having lunch in the school canteen.
"Nothing!! Its just that I'm feeling a bit tired recently... Nothing else..." answered Siyi and went back to class without eating anymore.
This continued for a few days...
Siyi had to avoid her close friends as she knew, they would ask lots of questions by noticing her discomposed face and she couldn't answer those questions...
Soon, the results of the pre-semester test came out...
Ray secured the first place as usual...
Siyi got scolded by her teacher for failing in Mathematics examination...
After going back home, Siyi's granny got worried by seeing her report card...
"You failed in Mathematics again!!" asked Siyi's granny furiously.
"What shall I do of this girl!!
I told you to focus more on Mathematics... Have you ever thought of listening to me??
What face shall I show to others, if you keep failing like this continuously??
You really disappointed me a lot this time..." Siyi's granny spoke to her indignantly.
Siyi sat idle, bowing down her head, without spitting a single word...
"Don't worry Halmeoni!!
My Ray is very good in Mathematics..
I'll tell him to tutor Siyi...
She'll definitely do well in the semester..." spoke Ray's mother to comfort Siyi's granny.
"Thank you Hyeri (Ray's mother)!!
I have become so old that I couldn't take care of my granddaughter's studies...
I don't have any other option than asking for your help...
Thank you so much..."
Siyi's granny showed her gratitude towards Ray's mother.
"Please Halmeoni!! Don't say like that... Siyi is like my daughter...
And its also my responsibility to take her care..." replied Ray's mother in a gentle tone.
Ray was called by his mother downstairs...
"Ray!! From today onwards, you'll help Siyi with her studies..." spoke out Ray's mother.
"What!!
Omaa... Seriously!!
I can't teach such a stupid girl who brought 30 marks in such easy Mathematics paper...
So please!! Stop forcing me to take care of her studies..." replied Ray barbarously.
"Ray...
Mind your words..." shouted his mother angrily.
Ray went back to his room, pulling a long face...
"He is always liked that...
Please don't mind his words..."
Ray's mother apologized to Siyi's granny for Ray's impertinent behavior.
Siyi went back to her room and thought of ways to improve her marks in Mathematics...
After giving it much thought, she couldn't find any other option than begging Ray for his help, since he was the topper...
Siyi knocked the door of Ray's room in nervousness...
After opening the door...
"What happened??" asked Ray.
"Ray!!
Can you help me with my studies??" asked Siyi in edginess.
Ray was about to shut the door when Siyi kept her right palm at the door wall and her palm got hurt while Ray was closing the door...
"Aaaaa...." screamed Siyi with pain.
Her palm started bleeding vigorously...
Ray held her hand and took her to his room...
He made her sit on his bed and checked her wound...
Noticing her palm bleeding heavily, he immediately got the first aid box and started treating her injury...
"Are you dumb??
Don't you have any conscience??
No doubt, you failed in the Mathematics examination with such easy questions..." Ray started scolding Siyi while treating her injury.
Siyi didn't say anything and kept on staring at Ray...
Her heart started beating faster than ever by watching Ray treating her wound charmingly...
After treatment, Ray kept the first aid box back at its place...
"Now go to your room and get some rest... Remember not to get your palm in contact with water..." spoke out Ray politely.
"Thank you..." replied Siyi and was about to go when she heard Ray speaking,
"Get up at 6 o'clock and come to my room with your study materials..."
Siyi was shocked to listen this...
She went back to her room and kept on thinking about Ray...
The more she thought, the more contented she felt....
Siyi couldn't understand her feelings for Ray, but she realized that Ray was not as cold as he appears...
Siyi's heart altered as she got to know a different side of Ray...
As time went on, her feelings for Ray grew up more and more....
