Chapter 12: End of the Battle

When Arne turned off the domain, he saw land that had been greatly damaged because of their fights.

On the battlefield, the War God Set and the Angel Commander Michael were fighting. Michael who was once very pure and clean was now bathed in blood while holding his sword of light. Set wasn't that good either. He was breathing heavily and was coughing blood from his mouth while lying on the ground.

"Thou hast lost."

Michael said to Set with his sword stuck on the ground while trying to stand and hold his body. There are some holes in his body caused by the attack of Set.

"Haha. You're really powerful, Angel Commander."

Set was laughing and he started to acknowledge the power of Michael. He stood up from the ground while holding his chest and was ready for his last struggle.

Meanwhile…

"Haaa!"

Solomon was charging at Anubis with all his power. He used his ring authority that could control evils and even elements.

Wind. Fire. Water. Lightning. Earth.

Five elements appeared on the battleground and were attacking Anubis endlessly.

"Humph."

Anubis immediately used his power to block the attack of Solomon with his golden scale. Anubis himself wasn't a ranged fighter either. He could only block Solomon's attack with his scale.

Solomon didn't dare to fight up close with Anubis because he had been greatly injured by him before with his power to purify and death power. The purification was very effective against Solomon because he currently used the power of his book that granted him the power of the 72 devils. Because of that, he was similar to a devil because he used demonic energy to fight and purification was very effective against demonic power.

In this world, there was no difference between devils and demons. Note that.

Solomon's body was greatly injured both inside and outside while Anubis had many burned wounds and cuts.

Both Set and Anubis saw how Arne easily killed Osiris and was a bit worried. After all, Set's power was equal to Osiris and Anubis was a bit weaker than him. But, they take it as Arne has an authority that could weaken and counter Osiris. Then, they saw Ra was fighting against Arne and disappeared because they entered a domain.

Not long after that, the domain disappeared and they only saw Arne appear while flying in the air. Four of them couldn't help but be surprised because they knew how powerful Ra was. Ra was the God King of the Egyptian Pantheon and his power can be said to be quite strong even in the Realm of Immortality.

"Let's end this."

When Arne appeared he immediately said that because he was very tired right now.

"Damn, God Slayer! You've ruined my plan!"

Solomon was very angry at Arne because his plan had failed because of the appearance of Arne and the Egyptian Gods.

"Attack him!"

Michael shouted to the other three Heretic Gods. After all, they were very weakened right now because of their fight and Arne could defeat them easily because of that. If Arne was given this chance, they would die immediately.

"I will cooperate with you once."

"Un."

"I will kill this damn heretic!"

Set said while frowning and Anubis nodded. Solomon agreed in anger. He couldn't wait to kill Arne right now.

"Come to me, the Wand of destruction, the slayer of the divine, Laevateinn!"

The bow on Arne's hand shined and transformed into a black wand that looks like a wizard staff and a red orb on top of it.

"Orb of Destruction, Laevateinn!"

When Arne finished his words, the red orb glowed and four balls of destruction appeared from it.

"Go!"

The four orbs immediately flew towards the four Heretic Gods.

"HAAA!"

"ORAAAA!"

"HIYAA!"

"RAHHH!'

The four Heretic Gods immediately used their weapons to slashed the orbs of destruction. The orbs were split into two but…

*BOOOM* *BOOOOOM* *BOOMMMM* *BOOOOOMMMM!*

"ARGHHH!"

"UGH!!!"

"AGHHH!"

"URGHHHH!"

The orbs that were split into two burst out and explode on the spot immediately. The Heretic Gods were greatly injured when the explosion hit them. They fell down from the sky and dropped to the ground. Because of the destruction energy, their body gradually turned into black smoke that started from their feet.

"Damn it!!! I am not convin-"

Solomon gritted his teeth to resist the pain and roared to Arne. He hates Arne very much. But, because he was the weakest, he disappeared faster than the other three and turned into black smoke before he could finish his words. He turned into a ball of light and disappeared into Arne's body.

"Thou art really strong, God Slayer. Different from Solomon, I was here because I wanted to glorify my God and my father. Let's meet again in the future and at that time, I hope we're not enemies. Bless you, God Slayer, the Ragnarok King, Arne Vasilius."

Michael was different from Solomon. He worshiped his Great God and he could be very respectful to him. But, Solomon was a fanatic border maniac that Michael wasn't really that pleased with him. He supported his plan just because that would glorify his father more than before. He was also disappointed that the Israel that was once ruled by their religion was now divided between some religions.

He acknowledged Arne because not only was he strong for a new God Slayer and his young age, he was very smart and wise. He has already suspected Solomon even before they met. Michael believed that Arne would become the strongest of the God Slayer and even the strongest being in the world. Maybe as powerful as his father.

After Michael said his last words, he disappeared from the mortal world and turned into a ball of light before entering Arne's body.

"You're really powerful, mortals. Let's fight again later if we meet again. Hahaha!"

That was the only thing Set said before he disappeared. He was a simple one. He loved to fight. He loved to see if war and violence occurred.

"I will wait for you in Duat, God Slayer."

Anubis said to Arne. He wasn't wrong when he said he would wait for Arne in Duat or the Underworld in Egyptian Mythology. Campione may be strong and could live a long life. But, they weren't immortals. They could die if they were killed or die because of age. They were still mortals in the end but with the power to kill Gods. There was no Campione that could live longer than 1000 years because they would be killed by the King of the End before they achieved their last year of lifespan.

Anubis and Set disappeared from the mortal world and turned into a pair of balls of light and entered Arne's body.

"Haaa…"

Today, he has killed eight Heretic Gods and would get many new powers. He was very excited but also very tired. He fell down to the ground because he really wanted to lie down right now. Thankfully his body was physically enhanced when he became a Campione. So he didn't feel hurt when he fell down from the sky.

"C-Congratulations, Arne-san."

Aisha suddenly appeared beside Arne and congratulated him although she was stuttering because she didn't want to be teased by him again.

"San? Are you Japanese?"

Arne was very confused right now. Was his information about Aisha wrong? That's not possible because he got her information from «Akashic Records». It wasn't possible for it to give him false information.

"No. I am from Northern India."

Aisha shook her head as she answered Arne.

"So? Why did you speak like that?"

"I don't know… I just like their culture?"

Aisha answered Arne while tilting her head. She was also confused right now. She has traveled to Japan before and she liked the culture there.

"Why are you questioning yourself??? Forget it. Can you lend me your lap?"

"E-Eh?"

Aisha was surprised by Arne's request.

"Come on. I want to rest for a while. The ground isn't soft at all."

When she said that, silence appeared between them. Arne didn't answer her because he had already fallen asleep at that time.

"Arne-san?"

Aisha called Arne but he didn't answer her at all.

"Ha… he fell asleep, didn't he?"

Aisha sighed when Arne didn't answer her. She knew that he had fallen asleep. She caressed his head slowly while smiling beautifully. Although she was naive and was a fool, she was a maiden. She was very kind and loved to help others.

"I didn't get anything today, but at least I successfully helped him. Yosh!"

Aisha cheerfully raised her fist to the sky. This time, she has successfully helped others without the corrective force killed them later. You could see that there were stars in her eyes. This could be her first achievement…

"Well, if he didn't tease me, he was quite cute…"

Aisha smiled at Arne while she continued to caress his hair. She would wait there until Arne opened his eyes.

"You have come again, Arne-chan! Mom missed you a lot, you know?!"

Pandora cheerfully greeted Arne when she saw him appear inside her domain again. She knew what happened in the mortal world after she felt many Heretic Gods have been slain. She was quite surprised because her favorite adopted son has successfully killed eight Heretic Gods by himself. Last time he could kill 17 Heretic Gods but that was because they were already on their death's door.

"Stop calling yourself mom. You're not really suitable with your personality and… your body."

Arne was having a headache when he heard Pandora's words.

"Mou… that's not good, Arne-chan! I manifested with this body not because I wanted it you know!"

Pandora tearfully looked at Arne because she felt that her pride had been torn by Arne when he mentioned her body. She didn't choose the childish body when she manifested in the Netherworld but somehow got that body in the end…

"Yes yes. I know."

Arne hugged Pandora and stroked her head to calm her down. He didn't want to endure her weird antics when she burst out. He felt that the world he was currently in has many weird people with weird personalities. For those who asked how he hugged her? That's because she was kneeling on the ground. He was shorter than Pandora so he couldn't hug her if she stood up…

"Kun kun… you smell so good, Arne-chan. I can't help myself."

Pandora stopped her tears by herself when Arne stroked her head and she immediately sniffed Arne's smell. She couldn't help herself. Arne's smell attracted her too much.

"Stop it. You're like a dog…"

Arne immediately released Pandora when he saw her sniffing his body's smell. He was quite afraid of her right now. Is she a shotacon???

"Ahem… Look, Arne-chan! You got many authorities again!!!"

Pandora coughed lightly and immediately took out her «Circle of Usurpation» that contained the authorities of the Heretic Gods that Arne has killed today.

'She just changed the subject, didn't she?'

Arne shook his head and didn't bring what was on his mind.

"There are some duplicates or similar authorities here."

"Then, what should I do?"

Arne didn't know what to do with those authorities. If he could, he wanted to merge them into one single powerful authority.

"Well, they could be merged."

"Good enough."

Arne nodded his head at Pandora's answer. Exactly what he wanted.

"How was your condition?"

Arne asked Pandora because he didn't want to come and leave immediately. He at least wants to spend some time with Pandora because she was the one who gave him his authorities.

"Kyaaa! Thank you for asking Arne-chan! I am very very good right now!"

Pandora cutely shouted and hugged Arne immediately. She was very happy right now. She covered Arne's head with her chest. But… she didn't have any to cover him.

'Hard…'

That's what Arne was thinking. He felt that his head was hitting her ribs.

"Hehehe…"

Pandora was still hugging Arne on her chest. She giggled quietly as she was very happy right now.

"Well, you can't stay here forever, Arne-chan! Visit me again, okay?"

Not long after, she released Arne from her grasp and said while holding his cheeks with both of her hands.

"Sure…"

"Goodbye. Muah…"

Pandora said her goodbye and kissed Arne again on his lips…

Arne couldn't say anything and disappeared from the Netherworld.

"Ha… so sweet…"

Pandora said after Arne disappeared with a blush on her cheeks. She couldn't help herself. She really wanted to taste Arne as long as she wanted…

"So soft…"

Arne opened his eyes and murmured.

"What's soft?"

He suddenly heard a beautiful voice following after him. He suddenly realized that he was still laying on top of the holy maiden's lap.

"Your lap is really soft, Aisha."

'Well, Pandora's lips were soft too.'

Arne said to Aisha and thought inside his head.

"W-Well, now that you have woken up, I must say goodbye."

Aisha didn't dare to look at Arne's face because she was blushing and she didn't want him to see her face or she might lose more of her dignity as the older sister.

"Where are you going?"

Arne couldn't help but feel curious about her. As far as he knew, she only had a mansion in Alexandria that she used to stay in the current timeline. But, she always spends her time and life traveling to the past.

"Well, I will go back to my house and then I will go to the past tomorrow."

Aisha answered Arne's question without hiding anything. She already trusted Arne after he defeated eight Heretic Gods by himself.

"Why are you always going back to the past?"

Arne already knew the answer but he still asked because he didn't want her to feel wary towards him because he basically knew everything about her.

"Well, there are many people I need to save in the past."

"Won't the corrective force kill them again later?"

Arne immediately asked her his point. He wanted to know why she still did that even though the people she saved would still die later.

When Aisha heard Arne's words, she clenched her fist and her expression darkened. But, she immediately put on a smile again on her face as if she still had hope.

"Well, maybe they would be. But, I think there will be one day that the people I saved won't die because of the force."

Aisha smiled at Arne as she hoped that her wish could be granted.

"Well, if that's what you said."

Arne didn't say anything to her again because he didn't want to shoot down her hope and wish. She still helped him after all. So he couldn't say anything harsh to his helper…
