Adeline
Two days later, Adeline closed the hottest New York Times romance book and let the sun warm her. The yacht she borrowed from her mother swayed with the ocean's whitecaps. Next stop, Cancun. She never thought she'd be lucky enough to find not only her soulmate but her perfect match.
"Coffee?" Jack offered her a steaming mug.
"Hell yes. It's not decaf, though, right?"
He snorted but grinned. "As if I could forget."
The scent of earthy aroma and a hint of cinnamon tickled her nose. Ah, it smelled like the marvelous first cup he made her when they met. She blew on the liquid, and Jack watched her with a hawk-like gaze.
She raised her brow. "What?"
"You're so beautiful." He cocked his head. "I think our coffee is way too hot to drink right now."
"Oh? What do you suggest?" She rested her drink in her lounge's cup holder and puffed out her chest. "A game of Shuffleboard perhaps?"
