Chapter 120: Werewolf Debt

Carla

Carla stood on shaky legs as the werewolves in the cave snarled, closing in on her and Ty. What the hell was he thinking? Why would wolves want vamp blood? Damn, she should've talked to him about this earlier so they could get their story straight before coming here. The leader, who resembled a tattooed linebacker, grinned as he cracked his knuckles.

"I know you hate vampires and would love them all to be dead." Ty held out his hands, but he didn't move back.

Why was he still talking? They should be running. Right. How could she outrun them all? "Sorry to bother you all. We'll leave now." Too bad she wasn't a magician. Perhaps pulling out two dozen rabbits would send these werewolves into a predator-prey frenzy and buy her and Ty a chance to escape.

"Even from the vampire who murdered your sister?" Ty asked.

The growls around them died down.

"Say that again." The Alpha had lowered his voice into a snarl.

"Marcus, I think was his name." Ty smirked.
