Harry, still storming in the hallway, stopped for a second and sat down on the floor.
Great, I still have extra homework with Malfoy and I lost Gryffindor 25 points! He thought to himself.
He yelled, loud enough to echo but quiet enough to not disrupt classes. Harry looked around glad no one saw him breaking down in the middle of the hallway.
He stood up and went down to the Gryffindor portrait hole.
"Periwinkle," he said bitterly.
The portrait opened up and he walked inside. He sat down in his favorite armchair near the fire and waited for Ron and Hermione.
When Ron and Hermione finally came back from Potions they saw Harry asleep in the armchair.
"Should we wake him up?" Hermione asked quietly.
"Ummm," Ron stalled. "Don't tell him I told you this but he's been having dreams again."
"Why didn't he tell me?" Hermione whispered. "Well, he knew you would bother him," Ron said slowly.
Hermione looked at Harry then back at Ron. "We'll wake him up when it's time for dinner," she whispered thoughtfully.
20 minutes later…
"Harry… Harry… HARRY WAKE UP!!" yelled Ron as he shook Harry to get him up.
Harry bolted up startled and punched Ron in the face.
"Bloody h***…. Why'd you hit me?!!" Ron said while clutching his nose.
"Sorry, Ron, you woke me up so violently I thought someone was attacking me!" He grumbled angrily.
"Well anyway it's time for dinner," Ron said as his stomach growled.
Ron let go of his nose. It looked broken.
He turned around and looked at Harry.
"Well, you've got a strong punch that's for sure," he chuckled.
Harry looked at Ron's nose and apologized. "It's from defending myself from Dudley" Harry trailed off weakly but then changed the subject quickly.
"We should go see Madam Pomfrey," Harry said as he looked at Ron's nose, feeling bad.
"But fooooooood," said Ron longingly.
Reluctantly, Ron followed Harry down to Madam Pomfrey's and got his nose fixed with no questions asked. They made it to dinner even though it took a while. As soon as Ron sat down he started shoving food in his mouth as if he hadn't eaten in a year. Harry ate a little bit but was soon full, so he told Ron he would meet him in the common room. As Harry was walking down the hallway a little paper swan flew over to him. Harry caught it and looked around but he didn't see anyone. When he opened it up he saw a note and it said:
Dear Pottah,
As you know we have extra homework assigned by Professor Snape. As much as I would like to make you do it, you would get an F, and then I would get a bad grade as well. SO I will help you but here are the conditions:
I am not being in public with the "Boy Who Lived", we will do it in a space where I do not have to be seen with... you. Disgust implied.
I am choosing the potion since you are horrendous at potions.
-Malfoy
P.s "Good" job at getting us extra homework Pottah.
Harry looked around again and still didn't see Malfoy. Harry didn't know what to do. Malfoy didn't even put where they should meet!
"Uggggh, that git," Harry whispered quietly. He decided to go to an empty classroom and write back. He wrote:
Malfoy you didn't even say where you wanted to meet….
And don't act like it's just my fault we got extra work! You were the one that told Snape like the snitch you are.
-Potter (Stop spelling my name wrong)
Harry didn't know how to give this to Malfoy. He started walking while he was thinking. He certainly was not making a little swan like Malfoy did. He didn't know how to make a little swan like Malfoy did. He decided he would just crumple it up and throw it at him in the hall next time he passed him...
"HEY watch where you're going Pottah!!" Malfoy said loudly. Harry had run into the git himself.
"Shove off Malfoy!". He looked around Malfoy and nobody was with him. Harry took his chance and threw the paper at Malfoy's head and rushed out before Malfoy could retaliate in any way. When Harry finally slowed down he was near the door of the Gryffindor common room.
"Periwinkle," he gasped as he was trying to breathe.
He went through and saw Ron and Hermione there waiting for him.
"Why are you out of breath Harry?!" Hermione said with a slightly worried expression on her face.
Harry was still slightly out of breath when he said, "I…. threw... A paper at Malfoy's head." Hermione looked at Harry with a confused expression on her face.
"Why?"
Harry sat down and told them about the letters. After he finished his story, Harry decided to go to bed. Although he barely got any rest.
