Tormented by loan sharks, Lorn had lived the life of an 'ascetic'. He would willingly become homeless and live the life of a beggar (and only sometimes a pickpocket), so his hard-earned money wouldn't fall into his debtors' hands. Hopefully, they would finally leave him alone after realizing he's worth nothing anymore.

But realizing his plans, the debtors decide to sell him as a guinea pig!

Instantly, Adrian's focus returned, and he focused on the Unbreachable Domain he was loosely keeping up. He saw the rate at which his Spirit was running out and quickly calculated the time they had left.

"I'll rank up as well," Lorn said. "It's all or nothing," He then nodded to Sybil. "Share your Status with me. If I read through it all in Seizure of a Moment, I'll have 10 minutes to make a proper plan…"

Adrian heard the boy speak and felt embarrassed for his overinflated image of himself. What kind of leader was he? To panic and give up at the first sign of trouble, not even bothering to think of a way out.
