where a door leads to a hallway leading to the bedrooms.
They walk through the hallway and stop at a set of stairs.
Upstairs, their bedroom is right across from theirs. The window facing the backyard is open and sunlight spills onto the carpet and floor.
Natsu's side of the room is messy. His desk and chair are pushed against the wall and papers fill half the space. There's a stack of them on the bed that they haven't touched since the last time he was in here.
There's clothes scattered all around the room which means that Natsu probably didn't bother to clean up his room after he got home yesterday evening. That's probably why he left his homework on the desk.
Natsu opens the closet and pulls out the blue jacket hanging up in there.
He throws it onto his bed and then starts pulling out some shirts to change into.
Haru stares at him for a couple seconds before picking up a shirt from his dresser and changing.
Once he finishes and closes his eyes for a second, Natsu opens them and looks at him. Haru's holding his jacket in one hand.
He nods and goes over to pick up a random shirt and tosses it to him.
It lands on the ground beside them and Haru picks it up.Natsu picks up another one and starts changing.
After getting changed, they head downstairs.
Their mother is already up, talking to someone.
She greets them when she sees them come downstairs.
Natsu immediately runs up to his brother. He tackles him in a hug while Haru laughs softly.
"Hey big bro!" He squeals, hugging him tight.
"Hey Natsu," Haru says, returning the hug.
The two stay like that for a while. Natsu eventually lets go but continues smiling like a maniac.
Haru can feel himself blushing lightly, not knowing why.
"Did you guys eat?" Their mom asks, smiling at them.
Natsu nods excitedly while Haru shakes his head.
"Good! How was school?" She asks.
"Pretty good. We had a free period and then some students came in and started asking for our number. Then someone took our phones and called them."
Their mom hums, "Why did you lose yours? Didn't you bring it?"
"Yeah, but when we went out to get food afterwards, he said he lost it."
"Ah, sorry. I forgot."
Haru nods, "It's okay."
Their mom smiles at him.
"Alright! Now let's eat breakfast. And then we' do something together, okay?"
They nod and head back to the kitchen.
After breakfast, they both head out together.
They spend the afternoon together before heading home.
Haru is starting to enjoy being around his brothers because they're always together and don't have much of their own stuff to do. It's a lot like having a friend.
As they reach home, Haru stops Natsu from following him inside.
"You can go in first. I just wanna check my email real quick," He tells his brother who nods.
Haru then goes inside his room to take a look at his emails. Since it's Saturday, it shouldn't be anything important, just a few spam emails and unread mail.
He opens up his inbox and scans through the messages quickly. None of them contain any urgent news.
Not finding what he wants, he decides to delete them before opening the ones that have been left for him and opens a new message from his mum telling him she'll call later to talk about it.
After closing his inbox and tossing his laptop on his bed, Haru climbs up to his loft bed and sets his alarm for 8 o'clock sharp. He then lies down on his bed and switches off the light, deciding to sleep for a little while before going to the mall.
