I am sorry Lina(CH-12)

"Come in." She heard her father's deep voice from inside of the office. She took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Lina Ran? Why are you here, my child? Were not the driver leave you in the school just two hours ago? It's not the time to leave school yet. Are you fine?" Lina Ran's father left his seat and reached near her.

"I ... I am fine papa. I think I missed you. That's why I decided to take half day leave and come to you ."Lina Ran told in low voice.

"I am sorry Lina, I know you are feeling lonely now. I.... I know that I should spend with you more time, but I.... I could not."

"No papa. You need not say sorry. I know how busy you are."Lina Ran said with a smile.

"No Lina. I know that it's all my fault. I am sorry that I could not give you a happy family. I ... I should not have let your mother go away." Her father said with tearful eyes.

"Papa, please don't be sad. I know that you also missed my mom."

"Leave it. Now tell me what happened to you? Why did you leave school at this time? Has something happened in the school? Lina Ran, my child, you should not hide anything from me."

"No papa. Nothing happened there. I don't know why, but I felt like I should come out from school for some time. I ..... I had a headache. I wanted to talk to you." Lina Ran said avoiding her father's gaze.

"Ok. If you don't want to tell me now, it's ok. You can take as much time as you want. Please inform me if you have any problems there. As you are new here, you have to face some difficulties. Just tell me if there is any, I will try to solve each and every problem of you my child." Lina Ran's father said with a smile.

"Ok, Papa. I will tell you everything."

Her father smiled and went to his table. He packed all his things and got up from the chair.

"Where are you going?" She asked in a surprised tone.

"Let us go somewhere ." Lina Ran's father held her hand and left the office with her.

Both of them reached a children's park nearby. Mr. Sam Ran knew that his daughter loves to go to the park since her childhood. Her favorite part of the park was the swing. She loved to swing on the swings. During her childhood, he used to visit the children's parks with her mother and her daily. They enjoyed their time together in the park.

Lina Ran and her father spent her whole afternoon there. She smiled to see her father enjoying the beautiful scenery of the lake of the park. She silently reached near her father.

"Papa. This place is really beautiful. I love just this place." Lina Ran said happily.

"Is it? If you liked the place, then we will come here daily. Ok?"Mr. Sam Ran was happy to see his daughter's bright smile.

"No need papa. We can come here once a month. I know how busy you are. Let us go. It is already late." Lina Ran said with a smile.

"Let us eat at a restaurant today." Mr. Sam Ran said and left the park with his daughter.

The next day as Lina Ran looked at the particular seat of her class hopefully. Her eyes brighten to see the person she wanted to see for two days. Yes, Davis Lane was there. He was writing something in his notebook very attentively. She looked at him longingly. She wanted to seat with him, talk to him but did not dare to. She sighed and opened her notebook to complete the works she left the last day.

"Hi, Lina Ran. Today you come too early. What is the matter?"Lina Ran looked at Dora with a smile, who was also smiling at her.

"It's nothing. Please come and sit."Lina Ran got up and let her sit.

As Lina Ran was about to sit down, she accidentally knocked over the desk, on which Davis Lane was writing. As a result, both the book as well as the notebook on which he was writing fell down on the ground.

"Oh, Lina Ran. You are doomed. He will kill you." Dora whispered in her ear.

Lina Ran paled. Davis Lane looked up to scold the person who had done this, but his angry glare softened to see Lina Ran in front of her. He collected his things and shifted to another bench which was far from Lina Ran's seat.
