Mom, I missed you(CH-11)

Lina Ran did not reply to Dora. She looked at her blankly and left the class with her bag. She went to the principal's office and left the school after getting permission from the principal.

Dora stared at the girl worriedly who was leaving the school in slow steps and sighed

'God knows what would happen to this girl.' She thought.

After leaving the school premises, Lina Ran did not want to go home. She thought something and hired a taxi to go to her father's office.

"Mom, I missed you." She murmured and entered her father's office.

Her father, Mr. Sam Ran was the R & D Textiles. He was one of the richest men in their city. Lina Ran was his only family. So he loved her very much. He divorced her mother when she was in primary school and both of them lived in different cities.

Lina Ran was only seven years of age during their divorce, so the court decided to give her custody to her mother. The court decided to give her custody back to her father when she would be fourteen years of age. After the divorce, Lina Ran's mother returned to her parental house with Lina Ran. Her father also did not want to stay at the same house after their divorce, he sold the house and shifted to a new city.

Although both of her parents lived separately for all those years, Lina Ran always hoped that they would rekindle their relationship someday. She never thought that all her dreams to live happily with her both of parents would be broken with her parent's separation. She thought that after a few days, they both would forget the misunderstanding with each other. But both of them were stubbornly insisted on their decision. Lina Ran tried her best to bring them together, but she did not succeed.

Although Lina Ran did not want to, she had to come back to her father after her fourteenth birthday. She wanted to live with her mother. But as her mother had no good income source, she had to act as per court order. Her mother worked in a company as a clerk, which is nothing in comparison with her rich father. Her mother did not ask for alimony during the divorce, although her father was ready to pay anything.

Lina Ran cried for the whole day long on the day she returned to her father. Although he loved her father very much, she missed her mother. Her father also felt sorry for her. He waited for her all these years and had been preparing everything for her all these years. He tried to cheer her up by visiting different places in the city. It took her almost fifteen days to adjust with her father.

When Lina Ran came back to a normal state, her father got her admitted to Excel Care International school, as he was the trustee of the school. He knew that this is the best school for his daughter. He knew that she would have to work hard to cope up with other students, as she had to get admitted here in the middle of the session.

"Lina Ran Dear, try to make some new friends here in this school. I heard that you had no friends there. Friendship is very important for us. our friends help us to overcome the gloomy thoughts of our minds. They will help us to focus on important things in our life."Lina Ran's father said to her with a smile, before letting her go inside the school.

Lina Ran nodded and smiled back at her father and left.

In her previous school, she had no friends. It is not like that she did not want to make friends, but the other girls in her class were jealous of her, as she was the source of attention of every boy in the school. She never glanced at the boys who were hovering around her. As she was very beautiful, many boys tried to get her attention, but she always tried to avoid them. But the other girls did not like her and tried to avoid her.

She was happy that she got Dora as her friend on the first day of her new school. She decided to be careful this time and not to get much attention from the boys in this school. She was determined to keep herself away from the boys. But all her determination scattered as soon as she saw Davis Lane. She could not understand what is happening to her. Although she knew that it is not good for her, she just wanted to meet him again and again.

That day Lina Ran's mind was disturbed for some unknown reason. As she left the school in half-day and tried hard to think the reason behind it. But she could not understand the real reason behind her gloomy mind. Is she sad due to the absence of Davis Lane? It was only her second day in that school. So it was not possible to miss the boy that much. So she decided to go to her father's and have a talk with him.

'I wonder why am I feeling like this?' She thought and knocked at the door of her father's office.
