Chapter 8
Continuous and constant practice in movement, I started to think about how to unlock the skill Instantaneous Movement, so I started to talk to the System and eventually I figured something out. A training session. I was focusing only on the one skill, but I could train towards multiple skills at once. There was no need to try the stopping movement thing constantly. I could unlock several skills at once as long as I found some that I could train at the same time. Thus I found the following skills.
[Instant Cut!: Unsheath a blade and slash in one movement without sound.]
[Solid Stance: Remain still while performing a physical exertion as long as possible.]
[Ki Manipulation: Circulate your Ki consciously at all times until this skill is unlocked.]
Yep, so I shaped a blade out of stone and wood, made a sheath out of a log, and started practicing. I didn't have to go to sleep tonight and the house was mostly done. Thus I would keep training till I managed to acquire three skills. I might not like showing the perseverance to complete things. But I want to get stronger, regardless of how lazy I may be. Plus the sound of the stone sword hitting the sheath was pretty loud. I was slowly stopping it before it hit the bottom. With any luck I'll be able to get it to not thud.

Circulating Ki was extremely easy for me. It was constantly in motion even when I wasn't doing it actively thanks to my skill. As I was training I decided to try and multitask, maybe I'll unlock a new skill.
"System." -Thud-

[Qi Cultivation isn't, other types are still available. Such as your Ki Cultivation. If someone from below the Sovereign realm traveled to your world they would be reduced to a normal mortal if they didn't have access to alternative methods of cultivation.]
"What about magic?"
[Magic is affected as well.]
"Wait, so in thirty five more years I'll be able to cultivate magic as well?"
[As long as you remain a virgin.]

"Why do I need to remain a virgin!?!"
[If someone has sexual relations before they start practicing magic, the internal magic will dissipate through the act.]
"So you're telling me… I have to be a virgin for another 35 years? I'm freaking twenty six this year!"
[Nothing can be done about it. In magical worlds the children normally circulate magic at birth so they don't have the problem. But your world's Heavenly Law is extremely restrictive so you couldn't circulate your internal magic. I suppose if someone managed to offset the Heavenly Law and constantly tried to manipulate their internal magic they could use magic in your world. But the chances of that are low.]
"So that is where the meme thirty year old virgin wizard came from."
[Possibly.]
"Have I unlocked the instantaneous movement skill? I haven't hit the bottom of the hilt in a while. See? No thuds."

The next upgrade will unlock 6% of the system. Likely the Passive Skill Trainer. Which will practice your skills for you so you don't have to do anything.]
"So I can be even lazier and still get stronger?!!? Yes, count me the hell in, who the hell wouldn't want something like that. What's the next skill I need to learn that would help fulfill the requirements?"
