Chapter 38: Grinding
Since Naruto wasn't expected to come out of the hospital for at least a week they had gotten a week off from their duties, this allowed Naruto to do some private training, AKA, grinding in an ID.
Naruto hadn't really grinded in the IDs that much, physical training could already get him to become as strong as anyone else it didn't really make sense for him to use his stat points to level his physical status up.
This caused him to neglect leveling up and instead made him focus on becoming stronger by training alone, Naruto realized that he had been stupid, he was the Gamer, not just a normal shinobi, he was made to level up and use his stat points to become stronger than anyone else.
"Create Ninja ID," Naruto said out loud.
The world cracked around him and his surroundings became completely silent, the chirping of the birds, the silent sound of the wind, and the sound of people walking on the street all disappeared.
Naruto appeared in an even more rundown Konoha than the Zombie ID one, it looked as if enemy ninja had completely blown Konoha up, which was exactly what this ID was, it was an all-out battle against an army of enemy ninja.
Naruto looked around and before he could even do anything a group of Genin-level signatures ambushed him, each of them were wearing masks that were colored white and were dressed exactly the same.
'Observe' Naruto thought as he dodged their attacks.

These were the weakest enemies in the Ninja ID, this was also the reason why this was Naruto's hardest ID since he had seen several Jonin rank shinobi before he had to run away.
This time would be different though.
Naruto quickly dispatched the group of Genin and ran to find himself a safe place.

He had 325 stat points to use and swiftly started to appoint them, the first thing that Naruto wanted was for all his stats to be 200, that would hopefully make him strong enough to combat Jonin level shinobi, even if it wouldn't it would make his life a lot easier with all the perks he would gain.
Once everything was at 200 he was left with 16 stat points which he put into intelligence.

Description: Your body is strong enough to bend metal with your fingers, this perk enhances strength.]
[Taijutsu enhancement
Description: This perk makes your Taijuts stronger, you can punch with more efficiency and can master Taijutsu styles faster.]
Naruto immediately felt stronger, his body felt twice as strong and he immediately could feel that his chakra flowed through his body easier, the perks really did wonders, he felt as if the chains that were holding him down were released.
Naruto didn't have much time to think over things as Genin-level signatures had started surrounding the broken-down building he was in, he could even sense some Chunin rank signatures.
Naruto knew what he wanted to do.
"Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation!" Naruto shouted out as he charged the jutsu with 40000 CP, in total there were around 40 shinobi surrounding him, 35 of those were hit by the giant stream of fire that spewed out of Naruto's mouth, the 5 remaining shinobi were swiftly taken care of.

Naruto grinned, "Let the grind start."
With that the hunter became the hunted, Narut started actively sensing for lower-level shinobi, it was better to take care of the fodder quickly and to save his strength for stronger enemies.
In all but two hours Naruto leveled up 3 times, he was now level 69, a very great number, according to some books he had read.
Naruto had now taken care of all the low-level enemies, there were only 15 Jonin level shinobi left over.

Naruto wasn't very confident in beating 15 of them, the Jonin were much smarter and stayed in a large group since they knew that Naruto was alone so they used a very basic tactic of ganging up on him.
Naruto was currently dodging a large array of jutsu, earth, water, fire, wind, and lighting, each element was thrown at him without hesitation, some of the purple shinobi were even attacking Naruto with exploding seals and with various different styles of Taijutsu.
This was a very difficult situation for Naruto, he was also down to half his chakra and had lost quite a bit of health fighting them, so he decided to continue fighting.
High-risk high reward as they say.
Naruto dodged under the sword that was swinging at him and applied a new type of seal that he had learned recently, a gravity seal, currently he needed paper to apply it but at higher levels, Naruto could draw the seal into pure air if he wanted.
[Uzumaki Fuinjutsu: LVL 10]
Naruto continued dodging until 4 of the enemies were affected by the gravity seals, they had slowed down to 50% of their previous speed and Naruto now had a chance to take them down.
He pulled out the sword he had gotten from Dog all those years ago and cut off the head of one of the shinobi affected by the gravity seal, he swiftly started doing seals and threw a large fireball at the shinobi ambushing him from the side, his sword moved ruthlessly and cut down another two.
His luck seemed to run out though as he was quickly surrounded and overwhelmed by the jutsu that the enemies were throwing at him, with his HP rapidly decreasing Naruto decided to strategically retreat and exited the ID.
"ID escape!" Naruto shouted and the world started cracking around him, the enemy shinobi disappeared and Naruto reappeared in a forest that was in Konoha, he had kind of forgotten about reappearing somewhere else than he entered, but he didn't sense anyone nearby so it was fine.
The sun was still shining but Naruto needed to regain his chakra and heal before doing anything else.
He quickly ran home and prepared himself a meal using chakra cooking, it would make him heal faster.

Description: Soup that has been enhanced by chakra, improves regeneration by 100% for 2 hours.]
He also applied some bandages to his wounds as they would also improve regeneration speed along with some medicinal lotions.
The day passed quickly as he spent some time studying the scroll of the Uzumaki and created some seals.
He was going to try and infuse Samehada with his own chakra soon.
