Chapter 82: Uzumaki treasure

Naruto unrolled the scroll and started reading through it.

'If you are reading this scroll then it means that you have been selected to become the next patriarch of the Uzumaki, or through some unfortunate event you are the last remaining Uzumaki, my name is Ashura Uzumaki, the first patriarch of the Uzumaki clan, I wrote this scroll to inform the next leaders of the dangers of the world and to give them advice.

Let us start off with that advice, being the leader of a clan for over a decade has made me realize many things, some good, some bad, but all beneficial, there are many types of leaders out there, like the Uchiha clan's patriarch, he is a fierce and loyal leader who only respects strength and then you have his exact opposite, the Senju patriach, he is a benevolent leader that strives for peace, their styles of leading both have pros and cons, but to truly become a great leader, personally, I believe that you need to be both feared and loved, if you are taken as a fool by your people then eventually they will revolt, but if you are seen as a tyrant then similarly, the people will revolt, so it is crucial to be seen as a respectable figure, you are the leader of the Uzumaki so you need to act like it, it is of paramount importance that you constantly evaluate yourself and the live that your people live, Next I will talk about the dangers of my current world, my father, Ashura Otsotsuki is an extremely powerful person who belongs to the Otsotsuki clan, a clan of extremely powerful people that came to our earth around a hundred years ago, the current number of Otsotsuki residing on earth is unknown, personally I know of four, Kaguya Otsotsuki, Hagoromo Otsotsuki, Indra Otsotsuki and Ashura Otsotsuki, Kaguya had long been sealed away but she may have brought other's with her that we don't know about, next is the danger of the Tailed Beasts, after my grandfather's death there was no one left to control them so they have all established their own territories, if in the future they are still wild they will need to be taken down, although that is a thing that I will leave for the future generations.

There is one more thing left for me to tell you about, and that is the Treasures of the Uzumaki Clan, in total, we have four clan treasures that need to be guarded at all costs, first, we have our ultimate weapon, Samehada, he was created through unknown means and chose me as it's current user, it is unknown what he is, or where he came from but he is a mighty sentient sword, next is the Scroll of the Uzumaki, every year we compile all the information we have about everything that we know about Fuinjutsu and put it into the scroll, next we have the Shinigami mask, Hagoromo Otsotsuki created it and it allows to summon the death god without consequences, it is only meant to be used in extreme situations as it can still corrupt the user if they are too weak mentally, and finally we have the Uzumaki Armor, the least important of the four treasures, although still powerful, it is capable of enhancing the chakra of it's user and can absorb chakra similarly to Samehada, although it has a limit of a single tailed beast's level of chakra, the armor can stop attacks up to Jonin level easily, there were even some weaker Kage level opponents of mine that couldn't put a scratch on it, it is stored in this scroll, now the last thing that I have to tell you is to be a good and respectable leader, if we ever meet each other I do not wish to be disappointed in my descendants.' Naruto read the lengthy scroll and looked at the seal on the bottom of the seal, now he knew that there were a total of four Uzumaki treasures, of which he would soon have three, the last one he didn't know the location of but he would ask the Hokage about it as he most likely knew something about it.

'Hah, kid, you're extremely lucky you know, I remember the brat that wrote that scroll, I fought him once and he was extremely strong, you should listen to what he's written, those words were written by a true leader on the level of an Otsotsuki, I'll tell you about them later, you should check that armor out.' Kurama said in Naruto's mind.

Naruto grinned and channeled chakra into the seal, a beautiful warring-era styled armor came out, it was colored a dark red similar to Naruto's hair and had black fur on its collar, the plates of the armor folded together seamlessly similar to a cloak.

Naruto used observe and read the armor's description.

Rarity: Legendary

Description: The legendary armor that was used by all previous leaders of the Uzumaki clan, it was created through the Yin Yang release of Ashura Otsotsuki, it was enhanced using special sealing techniques making it extremely powerful, it is capable of absorbing and redirecting a single tailed beast's worth of chakra, it's durability is good enough to withstand up to multiple A-rank jutsu or a single S-rank jutsu.]

The armor was great but not the greatest treasure just like the scroll said, but it made Naruto all the more powerful.

'Well, you will definitely need to tell me about these Otsotsuki, but do you know anything about the Shinigami mask?' Naruto questioned Kurama.

'Of course I know, although I don't know its current location I know that it was given to Konoha after the First Shinobi World War so your best bet would be to ask the old fart.' Kurama replied.

Naruto pouted and started arguing with Kurama about respecting his elders and his Jinchuriki, they had similar arguments almost every day.
