Find That Mad Dog

" Julio", Liam whispered as he sat down tiredly reading scrolls upon scrolls in his study. " Milord... At your service", Julio quickly appeared by his side and responded but Liam didn't even lift his head from the scrolls.

" Have you shifted the sick human to a better place?", he asked sluggishly, referring to Martha. " Yes Milord, I did as you said. Milord I have news about Lady Tori", Julio said but Liam still had his head buried in the scrolls.

He was too busy with Becca today, he didn't have time to go through all this. If he was going to face the board of Justice tomorrow which were already known as the Higher-ups, then he had to be prepared.

" Go on", Liam said like he didn't even care what happened to the vampiress, after all she did get what was coming for her.

" Due to the wound I had inflicted on her, she had lost a lot of blood purposely leaving her paralyzed in bed. But surely she would be up by tomorrow but not too well for the coronation", Julio reported and the study room went quiet.

His mother would not have time to investigate the case as she would be too busy making sure matters with the higher ups are well taken care of. He had his fare share of responsibilities too but at least for now he would get away with punishing Tori.

" Leave", he said coldly and Julio disappeared immediately. Julio had been ordered by his master to inflict harm on Lady Tori and like the dutiful servant he was, he didn't think twice about doing it. He owed a lot to the Prince and was ready to serve him for the rest of his lineage.

Liam finally removed his eyes from the scrolls and got up to do a few stretch. He was in one position for too long and he needed to stretch to relieve himself.

He removed his royal coat, and removed the shirt bottons one by one. A long line of teeth marks drew from his belly to a small part of his back.

This coronation wasn't going to be any normal. He would find that mad dog that bit him and kill him off.

He would let them think they had the upper hand for now. What could go wrong on a coronation? Other than being crowned and having dinner and some stupid dance, nothing bad happened, but things were just about to go wrong.

He didn't care if his own coronation had to be different.

He reached out for a bottle of blood wine on the study table, unscrewed the cap and took a huge sip from it. He had been thirsty ever since this bite but he couldn't even have his personal blood bag.

Thinking about her, a subtle smile graced his lips as he took another huge sip.

Becca woke up in the morning. Due to the harsh rays of the sun, not long after she opened her eyes, did she shut it back close.

Covering her eyes with her hands she tried to get up but found something heavy weighing her down.

A bit annoyed, she forced her eyes open and stared next to her to find a pair of black eyes watching her intently with his head resting on the pillow.

She had planned to take out the heavy thing on her but meeting Liam's eyes unexpected, she became hooked. Well let's say shocked. Not like something magical was happening but she couldn't look away. One.....

She hadn't expected to find him next to her.... Two ...

He had his eyes open the entire time like he had been watching her unwaveringly.... Three....

Her slow mind was still trying to put pieces and pieces together.

Liam stared at her for a while before getting up from the bed. He was sleeping softly when he suddenly woke up to the slight movement of his arm. He had wrapped his arm around her waist and drew her to him after returning to his room. Shortly after, he slept soundly.

Staring back at him even as he got up from the bed, she didn't wake up from her shock until she watched him walk over to a bottle of red wine, more like blood, picked it up and took,a huge sip, then she felt her small heart race. Why was she in this room?
