The Royal Library

"How much longer?"
Chelsea asked irritably.
"Just this last page,"
Ananya mumbled and continue reading her book.
After the sudden departure of Acharya, the Noble classes had come to an end.
Though she is the one who tutors Royal studies, the Princess had a knack for being prepared beforehand.
They were in the Royal Library, surrounded by innumerable books with mysteries behind each cover, waiting to be unlocked. The peace Ananya finds here is incomparable. It's like she was lost in a whole new world.
Of course, Noblewomen don't need to read any books, but she?
She could spend my whole life here!
"All done!" Ananya said, closing the book 'Ancient Magic and their rules.'
"What do you get by reading that?" Chelsea huffed.
Ananya smiled at her, got up and showed her a sore knee.
"Sanar Rapido"
A light purple mist formed on her palm.
She swayed the mist over her knee and the sore skin healed almost immediately.
"Okay, wow!" Chelsea exclaimed with her eyes open wide in amazement.
"I bet that's something I shouldn't know off?" She asked doubtfully.
"Of course not!
No one can stop you from learning."
Ananya replied with a smile.
"Well, no one can get me to read those books!" Chelsea chuckled, directing her gaze to the heavy pile on Ananya's side of the table.
Rolling her eyes, Ananya started arranging the books back on their shelves. Chelsea kept her story book back on a shelf, slipped up another story book and started reading right by the shelf.
"All done!" Ananya said,
clapping her hands.
No sooner she say that
the doors swung open.
"My lady!"
A Knight enters and pays respect,
"The King asks for your presence."
"This early?"
Ananya asks, surprised.
The Sun was yet to set.
Her Father had rarely summoned
her in such haste.
The Knight gave a short nod and continued,
"He is waiting for you at his balcony."
"Oh hell no!" Chelsea blurts out.
"Silentium!" Anu silenced her with a Jinx and turned back to the Knight.
"His Majesty had just received the guests, The Prince of Nergia ahead of schedule. JK ,From the Kingdom of Dragons, now resides in the Princess's Quarters. His Majesty summons the presence of both the Noblewomen, My Lady." Saying so, the Knight bowed.
"We will be there."
With a nod, Ananya asked the soldier to take his leave.
No sooner than the doors close,
"A PRINCE!"
Chelsea cries and jumps around frantically as the Jinx wore out,
"A DRAGON PRINCE!"
"Calm down Chelsy,"
Ananya patted Chelsea's shoulders.
"Of course I won't calm down!" Chelsea said," Last time, uncle tricked us and made us stay away from
the Prince of Morea, Vante!"
"He tricked you, not me."
Ananya whispered under her breath and smiled mischievously.
The King, i.e, her Father, had taken her and Chelsea out for a local festival when Prince Vante had arrived.
Prince V was known for his sly tricks and deceiving illusions. Her Father knew that he would stir up some trouble and end up meeting her.
Thus he wanted take her away from the Palace.
Ananya had already sensed that something was wrong when her Father asked them to take the roof and meet him at the balcony. That was the only way no one could catch her entering her Parents room.
Ananya's room was the biggest and the best one in the entire palace. Just opposite to her room was her parent's room, which was slightly smaller.
When a Prince completes 18 years of age, he is deemed to travel all of the eight kingdoms.
He should spend one month at each kingdom and thus he was to be treated kindly by the respective Kings.
This was called the Viaje Ceremony.
When a Prince comes to a Palace, he chooses a room for himself.
As always, it ends up being
Ananya's room.
Now, the youngest Prince of the land, Prince JungKook, was residing in her room.
Every time this happens, Ananya
spent a month in Chelsea's room.
Sometimes she was sent away to her grandparents, who lived on the city outskirts, just so as she doesn't catch a glimpse of the Prince.
After all, she was the Secret Princess

"When did you come to my room?" Chelsea asks as Ananya reached out for a rope outside her window.
"Just today," Ananya replied with a shrug, "And yesterday, and the day before that..."
"Okay!Okay!"Chelsea chuckled,
"I just mean,
I didn't catch you doing something like that when you were here."
Chelsea said,
pointing at a large bucket pulled up from a hidden spot nearby.
"Well, I came here early morning sometimes," Ananya explained,
"Father recently asked me to be here after the morning classes.
He feared it would seem suspicious if we sisters didn't wake up together."
"Holy Gypsies!" Chelsea exclaims,
"Don't tell me you stare at me
when I'm asleep!"
To this, Ananya give her a sly smirk.
"You-!" Chelsea starts, only to be interrupted by Ananya jumping in to the bucket with a chuckle,
"I'm just kidding! Now hop in!"
Chelsea rolls her eyes and hops on board.
Thankfully, they had the time to change into a much comfortable frock and stockings, the bucket had enough place to stand. The evening gowns would never fit in this thing.
Ananya starts tugging the rope on the right and the bucket slowly gains height.
The rope was attached to a pulley, so it reduced the burden a bit, but still, Ananya's hands went sore with all the pulling. She missed Magic at times like this.
...
In the whole land of Maya, no one had the power to yield Purple Magic.
Most people use bright yellow or golden magic. The Noblewomen had Rose Gold while Knights have Red Magic.
Acharya had thus strictly forbidden Ananya to use any magic outside the palace. She had cast a specific charm inside the Royal ballroom which would make it seem that Ananya used Rose Gold Magic. Sometimes, specks of Purple Magic would be caught and Acharya would have a hard time erasing memories.
According to her, there is no magic powerful enough to control or obstruct
Purple Magic for more than a day.
She even had to cast a powerful Ancient spell on Ananya's eyes so as to control her Enchantment Powers.
Every night, at Midnight, Ananya's body would remove all the spells cast on her. So Acharya would have to cast all the spells, every morning.
...
"Careful," Ananya warns Chelsea, as she gets off the bucket.
They hop on the roof, safely this time, and walk up to the place which looked over the King's balcony.
"Hurry!" Her Father called from below.
Ananya searched for the hidden rope, which would help them climb down to the balcony, when suddenly a voice comes out of nowhere,
"Who's there?"
