Chapter thirty-five

Without wasting any time, Moha had immediately after the announcement of the attack of Saliou and his men signaled to those of theirs who were in Senegal to also go on the attack and try to contain them. However, Saliou and his men, being outnumbered, did not give them even the slightest chance of succeeding and fearing that they would finish them all off, the latter ended up withdrawing on Moha's orders and leaving them to do so, who, having finished with Senegal, lost no time in attacking Mali.

On their side, the main detachment, led by Moha himself and accompanied by Ndeye and the others, had also lost no time and started their march to meet them. On their side, too, of course, they did not hesitate to subdue any attempt by the small opposing detachments to stop them in their advance. They soon reached the Chad River and prepared to cross it to attack the opposing detachment, headed by Saliou.
