20 Years Progress (Rewrited Chapter)

In a grand white castle, a woman stands, her expression melancholic. She is breathtakingly beautiful, with long, flowing black hair cascading down her back. Standing at 1.75 meters tall, her figure is statuesque, her skin pale as jade—smooth and flawless. Her most striking feature is her eyes: one bright orange and the other a deep, dark red, a stunning heterochromia that amplifies her beauty tenfold.

Beside her rests a massive white fox, easily over two meters tall, far too large to be an ordinary fox. Though it sleeps peacefully, its presence radiates strength.

Sensing the woman's somber mood, the fox stirs from its sleep. It approaches her, nuzzling its face against hers, a comforting gesture that speaks of their deep bond.

The woman smiles, her melancholy lifting as she snuggles into the fox's soft fur. The sensation of its velvety coat against her skin brings her a sense of peace, and she begins to hum softly, her spirits brightened.

"I'm fine," she says, her voice gentle. "Just a little bored after living here for twenty years. But don't worry, I'm happy with you and everyone here. It's just... when I came to this world, I had a dream—to find something thrilling."

Her eyes light up with excitement. "And you know what? I've decided! I'm going to leave this island and start my journey to seek—well, let's call it 'adventure'."

The fox stares at her blankly, as if already bracing itself for the chaos to come.

Knowing her mischievous tendencies all too well, the fox silently hopes she won't cause too much trouble—maybe just destroy one continent instead of two.

And yes, you guessed it—the woman is Nayla.

Flashback: Year 1 on the Island

First Person POV - Nayla

Hmm, what should I do first? Right, I need a place to live and something to eat.

Can I use my Biotech Blueprint Construct skill to build a house? Let's give it a try.

I activate the skill, designing a traditional two-story house in my mind. After about ten minutes of focusing, a magic circle appears, and slowly, the blueprint materializes in front of me.

Once the blueprint is complete, I spend an hour studying it carefully. It's perfect. Now to put it into action.

I activate Gather and Construct. A large magic circle forms, and before long, my house begins to take shape, brick by brick.

The best part? Unlike other herrscher powers, Herrscher of Reason skill doesn't use any mana or stamina as long as the user understands its principal. I can build to my heart's content without worrying about running out of energy.

In just ten minutes, my two-story house is complete.

"Not bad at all. Good job, me," I say, giving myself a little self-five. "Now that I've got a place to stay, I can finally start grinding."

And grind I did. Over the next year, I built all kinds of things—TVs, computers, air conditioning, weaponry, and an armory. I even constructed a fence around the house. My skills improved rapidly, and by the end of the year, my Blueprint and Construct skills had leveled up to Intermediate Rank.

Flash Forward: Year 2 on the Island

With my skills at Intermediate Rank, I decided to try something more ambitious—building droids. It took me 15 minutes to craft my first one.

The result? A small droid, half a meter tall, with a white, round body, wings, and short legs. A yellow gem adorned its hat, giving it an almost whimsical look.

I named it Pang.

Don't let its cuteness fool you, though—Pang's power is on par with mid-level supernatural beings.

"Pang, your first mission is to help me find food. Can you do that?" I ask.

Pang nods, flapping its wings happily as it scurries off. Watching it go, I can't help but think: CUTE!

Feeling inspired, I built more Pangs to assist me.

Flash Forward: Year 5 on the Island

Three more years have passed, and I've upgraded my Herrscher and Biotech Construct skills to Advanced Rank. During this time, I didn't just improve my skills—I also built an entire city with the help of the Pangs.

It only took two years to complete, and I named the city Hamalen.

Once the city was done, I decided to create Automata and Guardians. After all, a city needs protectors, right?

I crafted three Automata: Durenda, Theodore, and Bernard. Each of them has power comparable to super-class supernatural beings. Durenda became the commander of my army, Theodore the alchemist, and Bernard the blacksmith.

Each has their own personality: Durenda is a bit of a tsundere, Theodore is a nerd, and Bernard... well, he's quiet and a bit of an airhead.

I also built an army of golems—mechanical troops capable of high-grade combat. I created hundreds of each type, arming them with specialized weapons, and even made 40 golem generals, each with the power of an ultimate-class supernatural being.

Durenda now commands my entire golem army.

Flash Forward: Year 10 on the Island

It's been a decade since I arrived, and I've finally reached Master Rank for both my Herrscher and Construct skills. Reaching this level unlocked new abilities:

Heart of Technology: I can control, destroy, upgrade, or edit any man-made technology as long as I understand how it works.

Blueprint Extraction: I can extract blueprints from any technology by touching it.

To celebrate, I started working on one of my long-time dreams: building a flying island.

Flash Forward: Year 19 on the Island

After nine years of hard work, I finished building my flying island—Celestial Palace Elysion. Modeled after the village of Elysion from Elsword, it spans a massive 28,311 km².

I equipped the island with powerful defenses, including a Particle Cannon capable of taking down heavenly dragons in five shots, and an Antimatter Turret that can obliterate islands.

Why did I build all of this? Honestly, I'm not sure anymore...

I also crafted new Automata—2B, 9S, and A2—to serve as my personal bodyguards when I eventually leave the island.

Once the island was complete, I created an administrator to manage it: Eve. That task pushed my skills to Perfection Rank.

Then, I realized something. I'd forgotten something important.

"Alice... how many Gacha Vouchers do I have?" I asked.

[You have 4,950 vouchers.]

"Wait, what?!"

No wonder I'd accumulated so many—I hadn't used a single one in 19 years!

Gacha Time!

"Let's use 100 vouchers," I said.

The results were... impressive.
