~Ariah~
Ariah wasn't able to start work for about two weeks and has been texting, calling and face timing back and forth with Xavier because she had two go away for two week training camp. Walking into the new station she was calm and collected ready to start she has been working hard to get into the position she was now in. She was recruited in a whole new lines of officers where you are basically considered FBI but stayed within the local police station as head detectives to help with the crime, death rates, and mafia activities along with much other things that were becoming growing problems in our nation. She had two special badges now. There was only four other officers like her and to maintain one of these positions you had to be the best of the best with not only knowledge but physically too. When the Chiefs were asked who wanted to claim who it was no shock when Chief Russo took Ariah. Being one of her dads old best friends and help basically raising her. After her moms passing when she was five, and her dad's death when she was eighteen. Chief Russo was always known as papa Tony. Antonio Russo was head Chief of the station and would do anything for Ariah, he and his wife cold never have kids so they took her for their own and were happy with it living next door to her whole life until she went to the academy and than special ops training now she lived in a three bedroom house she was renting across town from them closer to the woods, where she loved to jog in.
"Ari." She heard and smiled instantly knowing that voice. "Papa." She turned smiling to the man. "Haven't seen you in a few days kid did you get settled well last two weeks? DO you need anything?" "No papa I'm fine and completely settled you and mama should come by Sunday for brunch. Just to get your piece of mind settled to know I am fine." She said putting her hands in her pocket with a slight bow to the head to him with a smile still. The man next to Tony started to clear his throat. "Chief Russo don't you want to introduce me to your friend." The young man about her age asked him. "No." He said flatly looking at him like he lost his mind. "Ariah Alderman, I'm the new detective, and this big guys adopted kid." She said holding her hand out to shake with the man. "Oh great I'm actually one of the new four joining to your actually the last one the rest of us got on about three weeks ago. Jace Morgan. This is Noah Bentley one of the others." Jace said as Noah was coming up smiling shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you officer Alderman. "Now come on we four are going to be close after all were basically one big partner. We can go by first names. Can't we Ari?" Hunter said throwing his arm over her shoulder.
"Hey Hunt. How you been? I didn't know you were part of this." She said smiling. "You two know each other?" Jace asked showing a fake smile only Hunter could tell, Russo also staring at him with concern. "Oh yeah we go awayyy back. Two weeks back right gorgeous?" "Yeah that's like such a decade ago." Noah said rolling his eyes. "Anyways now that you princesses all got to meet each other let's actually get you damned daisy's back to your jobs. Here are you case files each of you grab one of your choosing these are solos if you have questions come to me or each other. You do have more clearance than I can give you call your other supervisor FBI will send you permits you need. You and me lunch at 12:30." "Diner?" She asked looking down to the folder she took opening it up looking it over. "You bet kid." He said waving her off walking away. "I didn't know you were badged. So this was your new promotion we were celebrating you know you rank over all of us right you are actually our boss." Hunter said. Looking at the four offices with the name plates he was right she was their squad leader.
"Yeah you defiantly should be proud and celebrating that. Hell you one of the most powerful people in the city now. Hope you got all those ball gowns for the galas, and other charity events." Noah said laughing to her. "So mean Bentley." She said shaking her head lightly still reading her file. "Guess I would be to if my sorry ranked under the only female in your crew don't worry sweetheart I'll make sure to take it easy on you in P.T and bring your tampon." She told him going in her office and shutting her door. Making the other two men snort out their water and laugh hard going into their offices. The best thing about her position is no one can say she got it because she was Russo's kid the amount of training and schooling needed for this was not something that could be easily handed down. She earned her way. Her whole life fighting tooth and nail. She wanted to be a cop for as long as she could remember her mama bought her first plastic badge and cuffs. Now she's finally arrived. "We did." She said placing a picture of her parents happily hugged up laughing at whoever took the picture for them a month before she was born. Sitting down and getting to work.
Sitting at the booth getting ketchup for her fries and talking happily about everything with Tony. Tony was like another best friend she had besides Chloe she had no one else and the beautiful thing was with mama Gabrielle, papa Tony and Chloe she never felt alone. After texting with Ellie and Leah though back and forth along with Xavier she was happy about opening up to new friends. She was so excited about finally having a life besides work and sleep. Her phone dinged with an I miss you meme from Xavier who she knew was busy and yet still bored at work. She still didn't know what he did, and that was fine for her they had time to figure all that out later. She knew so much more and she found herself really liking him. Smiling every time her phone would go off. Looking up at her and back to his burger adding some thousand island to it. "So what his name?" Tony asked in plain voice.
"What's whose name papa?" She asked after pushing the send button and putting her phone away. "Don't play coy with me baby girl you mama Gabby used to hold the same smile and gleam in her eye when I would reach out to her. Hell bless my luck soul she still does. So come on now, what's his name when did you meet him?" Tony asked stealing one of her fries. "Xavier. I meet him two weeks ago and we've been in constant contact ever since. Actually I meet him the same night I meet Hunter apparently they're friends." Tony stopped and looked up with a small smirk. "You don't say. Well does Xavier have a last name or job title?" "I'm not giving you any other details there pop. This is all new and I really like him we haven't even been on a date yet because I've been so caught up in everything else lately. Not that he hasn't been begging like a dog with a bone though." She said smiling. Talking about other things while he glared at her until she put her money away and let him pay for the food. Walking her back to her office he stopped her.
"Look I wan you to know we are so proud of you and I know they are to after all you've done to get here baby I swear we are. It's just now that you're here. I don't want you putting life on the back burner anymore. You need to get out there and start breathing life back into yourself. Promise you'll start to try. Even if it's going on a date with that Xander thing." Papa said making her laugh. "Xavier and I promise you I will try. I understand what your saying and I don't want to wake up one morning knowing how much I let just pass by, so I will try. Don't worry to much I'll be ok. I have you on speed dial." She winked making him smile and walking back to their work.
At quitting time she heard a knock on the door. Hunter just walking in. "How was the first day?" "Great I closed three classes already." She said handing him the files for him to see. "You got Gunner's men? How did you get all of this so quickly done?" "Now I was only able to nail ten out of eighteen of his men because they were stupid enough to have evidence the other's were smart enough to have tampered evidence so there's no way possible to pin into them but I know in my heart they were in on it." She said. Looking at the file with some of their men that are being held. "What about these guys what are you doing with them?" "I already went to the judge about them." Hunter's heart kind of beating still, yet still nervous these were his best gun negotiators and runners Xavier needed them back soon not serving thirty years behind bars.
"What's going to happen to them?" "Judge told me it was my call. So after much closer look into them and their record which is very extensive by the way. I requested for them to be on a three month probation and to be let go the only thing I can see wrong of them doing is having pot on their person and not even enough to be here in the first place there is no way in hell they could have anything to do with those exploded warehouses. They were so old and consider condemned from the reports that it was most likely bound to happen one way or another. Fire marshal gave me the reports on building. They're free to go." Hunter didn't think about the fire reports and how lucky they are they guys didn't get caught even though he knew they blew them up and the other men. Luckily their clean up crew works fast.
"You know most people would look at their kind of record and hold them longer not believing in them. You saw it and your letting them walk. You know what Ari? I don't think they could have picked a better person to be my boss. You got a good heart. I've always been great at reading people and I know were going to be great friends and you are going to not only get far but help and save many people along the way doing it." Hunter said smiling to her nodded her head in a thankful manner. "Speaking of saving when are you going to pick up the phone and go out with Xavier that man is constantly on his phone just waiting to drop everything and come running for you. Honey just put hi out of his misery and take the bullet. It's almost cruel." Hunter said holding one hand to his chest and raising the other." "Oh my God." She said laughing hard turning red.
"I'm a little nervous. What if when we go out he changes his mind and doesn't like what's in front of him. I'm really liking him Hunter." "Oh you silly little jelly bean. That boy is so whipped for you already all you got to do is whistle and he'll come running. I bet you he could probably hear you if you tried right now too, watch." Hunter did a playful loud dog calling whistle. Bringing Noah and Jace in the room. "Well aint the dog were hoping for but good to know it still works on the bitches." Hunter said playfully about his own whistle. "We heading out boss. You need anything before we go? Ride home? Help with files?" Jace asked her in a professional tone. "No thanks you guys head on out. YOU TOO!" She told Hunter pointing a finger to him. "I'm just saying in this job we take risk everyday it's the only way we can live life. Why only stop taking risks when you clock out? You may surprise yourself at what you find. "Hunter told her wiggling his eyebrows up and down.
Walking into her home. It felt empty for the first time. I hate it when others are right she said sighing to herself taking out her phone. "Hey Angel. What a happy surprise." "Hey Xav, how are you is this a bad time?" "It's never a bad time for you love what's going on?" He said in a tone where she thought she could feel his smile, he knew she was blushing but said nothing. "I was actually calling to uh tell you I'm free every night about five this week. I get off at four the whole week. If that fits into your schedule, if you still wanted that date?" She went on nervously. "SO that means you already home?" "Yeah." "How about tonight? You want to go to dinner?" "Tonight?" "You got other plans?" "Getting fat on the couch watching my thighs expand." She said quickly wishing she hadn't just said that.
"I'll be there in an hour you come get fat with me then. I want to watch your thighs too." He teased making her turn red. "Where are we going." "Just dress comfortable in anything you want. I'll see you in about an hour I'm wrapping some work right now. I'll see you soon." He said hanging up with her. "Well…CRAP!" She yelled to no one and made a run for it to the shower to quickly shave and dress. Going through her wardrobe she choose a simple dark blue sundress and little black boots going with a more country look, hair half up and half down fighting off the anxiety and panic attack that kept threatening to come from being nervous. "I am ready for all of this again?" She asked herself looking in the mirror knowing how well it ended the last couple of times.
~Xavier~
Hanging up smiling at the phone. "Well boys seems we need to wrap this up I got plans. Where Hunter at?" "He aint back yet should be meeting up later at the house got some more things to finish up there." Axel told him back as he stepped away from the man hanging upside after drawing with his knives on him. "You know what come out a little more over this way and it would really open the image to a much brighter perspective." Enzo told Axel. "Yeah you right." "Look at us all artistic and shit." Ryder said smiling.. "Not you Pyro you just Dyslexic and shit." Axel said with a laugh. "Fuck you blade." Ryder said with a smile because he knew they were right. He also had ADHD but he for the most part was fine and controlled thanks to some great meds and a joint every now and than. "What's your rush?" Enzo asked him raising an eyebrow. Normally they are the ones to tell him to hurry up.
"I just got a date." He mumbled lowly. "YOU GOT A WHAT?" one of the men asked in shock loudly. "Sorry Reaper." "Don't apologize. Like the boy said YOU GOT A WHAT?" Ryder yelled even louder. "Ari final came through on her schedule, nice man. Because her being away on a training retreat was hard on us dealing with your mopey ass." Axel said washing up as Enzo put a bullet to his head. "Send a note to his brother and tell him I wan the rest of the money they borrowed in a week or he's next. Take pictures and take them with you." He told a few of the men turning to go up the stairs quickly they had about four showers inside the warehouse they use to torture people who've wronged them, also kept a bunch of clothes there also each one of the five men had their own special closet. "Clean this up." Axel said as they all ran up the stairs to join him. "So where you taking her?" Ryder asked him happily and a little giddy. "You spending too much time with Ellie to be this excited." Xavier sadi shaking his head to him
"First off fuck you. Second theres never enough time I can spend with my Ellie bear. Third this is a big deal man you never went on a date before. You a complete dating virgin. So being the great friend that I am I am just curious on how you are going to approach this because we all talk and know sweet Ari as more of anxious person, where as your big ass draws attention anywhere you go and she still doesn't know who you really are. I mean what are you going to do if the press finds you?" Ryder asked him. "Yeah man you know how famous you really are what she going to say if she finds herself on the front page with a multibillionaire?" Enzo said with a deep chuckle. "What's more is what are you going to tell her about your other life?" Axel said looking at him deeply. "Well they still have time before it gets that deep." Ryder suggested. "The fuck they do, he's already there. Dude you know this woman for two weeks and as much as myself like her. You are already gone. I know that look when you think about her, when she calls. When someone even says her name I know that look. Ryder you do too. Have you thought about when or how you going to come clean. We already know how she feels about being lied to go on tell us what she said about lies." Axel said looking at him with his arms cross.
Taking a deep sigh. "Lies are the lowest form of betrayal no matter what because no matter how much you care for that person, o matter how big or small the lie is it meant that even for just a few minutes or days that person wasn't worth the truth." Taking a look around grabbing his clothes. "I will tell her what she needs to know when she needs to know it right now I just got to focus on actually getting her with me willingly, because your fucking right Blade I'm already to far into this. I can't not be with her. She calms my damn beast down alright. There I said it. So if worse comes to worse I will just lock her up in my room forever until we can overcome it, but for right now I'm just going to handle one damn thing at a time." Xavier growled out as he slammed the bathroom door. He was already nervous but now he felt something he's never felt before. Guilt… and that felt worse than anything he's ever experienced yet. "I am my fathers son." He said in the mirror shaking his head.
He remembered hearing the story from both his mother and his father how he was just as twisted just not as much of a leader as Xavier is now. When one night he saw his mother out on a village market touring around Italy. She was there as a present for getting her nursing degree and was taking the month in Italy before coming back to sign on at a local hospital here in the states when his father saw he knew he was sold mind, body, and soul no woman could ever hold his attention because he didn't believe really existed. He kept everything from they dated the rest of the month she even stayed a week later however he had no intention of letting her leave he already her ticket ripped up and passport hidden she wasn''t aware of. One night they got into a shoot out at a restaurant and he had come clean. She was too scared of the thought of constantly looking over her shoulder, told him it would be best to break it off because she is not built or made to handle that kind of life. She resented him for the rest of the year as he locked her away but over time they became closer and it wasn't until he was laying in front of her shot nine times half way dead did she realize she loved him and gave it an honest shot. They were only able to conceive one child and that was him but they always assured him he was more than enough, maybe a little too much.
I can't do that to her. The pain of thinking of her rejecting him was more than he could take and they were still in the early stages he just like his father was addicted at first sight. One step at a time. He thought to himself. Just got to make her mine step one, he added. Hurrying up in the shower and dressing a nice black button downed shirt and dark washed jeans running his hands through his short black hair. Putting on a little blackish greyish chain with wolf in a moon at the end that he never took off. You got this even his beast side purred out to him, also ready to finally see her in person again. Walking out of the make shift room they all shared in the warehouse he walked out and stopped in shock looking in front of his car.
Axel holding a carton of strawberries. Ryder holding her favorite candy. Hunter holding a medium sized multicolored bouquet of flowers. Enzo holding his hands arms open for a hug and a smile. "We just wanted to help you out bro. I called ahead and got your restaurant on 5th to get you a guys a private table reservation so they will be prepared just in case your not ready to explain why you can just waltz in anywhere just yet." Enzo said giving him a bro hug. Xavier actually felt touched his best friends his brothers not only helping him out because they know how much he likes her but because they like her too and want good things for them both. They all hugged him giving him their little gifts and wishing him well. As he got in the car hiding his small smirk and driving away. All of them waving him off like proud mamas. "Ok, we got to talk." Hunter said holding up a bunch of files.
~No One's P.O.V.~
Taking a deep breath he knocked on the door holding all of her things. Opening it smiling up at him. With wearing her beautiful sundress and cute boots making her just a little taller, and only wearing her black eyeliner making her eyes pop in a way that made his whole world stop. There's no way no one could look in those amazing orbs and not get lost in the beauty of their color. "I'm sorry what?" "I said hi Xavier." She laughed at him. "Do I have something on my face?" She asked quickly rubbing her hands all over her face. Grabbing he hand putting it down. "No, no. You just look beautiful you know how them eyes get me." He said in a low voice that made her legs weak. "Ugh these are for you. I know how you prefer strawberries over flowers but couldn't help myself." He said handing the items over to her. "Thank you so much. This was so thoughtful you didn't have to do that. I appreciate it though. Just give me a minute to put them all away please come in." She blushing bright to him stepping aside for him to come in.
"This is a nice place you been here long." Of course he already knew the answer to that but she didn't know he had investigated into her whole past. "Not really maybe about a full two months but most my weeks have went to training. So far though I like it." "It's homey. Very you." He chuckled to her looking around at all the candles and pictures hanging randomly there was a great smell and an odd warmth to her home that Xavier found so alluring he didn't really want to leave anymore suddenly he was imagining having take out and just being lazy on her couch cuddled up dozing off to sleep watching movies. "Xavier. Xavier are you ok?" She asked calling back to him. "I'm sorry what?" "I was asking if you were ready but you look like you were a few miles from here." She teased him grabbing her jacket her debit card, house key, a few twenty's, and her cellphone was in her cellphone wallet.
"Yeah baby I'm ready you all set?" He asked as he was walking out the door as she locked up. Coming up to the Navigator he opened the door for her and let her in. "Thank you." She said shocked that he even buckled her in. After pulling out onto the road. "You can change the radio to whatever you like the aux cord is there also." " No that's ok thanks. So where are we going?" "I got a reservation to a little steak house close by." "Ok. That sounds great. How about we play twenty questions if that's ok." "Yeah sure. Shoot." He said with a wink. After having a short game of random question on favorite movies books, food. They talked nonstop for over two weeks. S the silly fun questions were heart warming
Walking into the restaurant the hostess eyes widened and called for a waiter right away. "Mr. Medina your table is ready right this way please." The waiter asked as he started to lead the way sweating a little in nervousness. Ariah was a little lost at the interaction, after all her training of reading a room she had some red flags going off. Coming to the table Xavier beat the waiter to help her in her chair growling lowly to him to stay a bit away. "Can I start you with drinks?" He asked in a pleasant tone trying not to stutter. "May I please have a cherry coke or just any coke you have with no ice please." She said sweetly to him with a soft smile. "Same." Xavier said gruffly. Nodding as he gave them the menu, and hurried to get them their drinks.
Looking over the menu and deciding on what she wanted quickly. "Xavier can I ask you some things?" "You can ask me anything always, Angel." "I can't believe I just found out your last name is Medina. I mean talking all this time and I never asked the basic things. What is it you do for a living? I know you were shocked when I said I don't know who you are and by the way everyone here is responding to you I'm guessing you must be someone important." "You think I'm an important person?" He smirked to her playfully. "Well how else could you get a reservation to the best steakhouse in under an hour with a line out the door on a three hour wait list? Not to mention the privacy of this part." "You are good at reading a room love. I do a bit of everything actually. I'm in business, and mechanic shops, welding shops things like that. I help with restaurants like this and other places trying to get their feet off the ground so I help get them funding and make sure everyone and everything stays running smoothly." "Well ok that doesn't sound so bad. So you're well known because of how many people you helped and the business parts?" "Yeah for the part." He said technically it's not a lie that is what he does. Just leaving the fact that he owns all the places and he is the main investor.
"My brain is drained can we skip work talk for the rest of the night?" Of course. Whatever you want." He said reaching out on the table rubbing the back of her hand sweetly. "Are you ready. Need a few more minutes?" The waiter came in and asked softly. "Ari?" "Can I please have the New York Steak special with the roasted vegetables, and side salad with the ranch on the side?" "Of course how would you like the steak cooked?" He asked looking at her eyes stunned for a moment they were pretty. "I think it's called medium well. Just to the point where there is no pink please." She said handing her menu back to him. "Yes that is right, I will mark that for you." "For you sir?" "Same." He said flatly and in a warning tone making the waiter quietly gulp to himself. "You're a very intimidating man aren't you Xavier?" "I might be to some maybe." He winked to her getting lost in conversation and laughter it felt like they just blinked and it was three hours later. Helping her out after paying the check. They walked by the water fountain that was one of the main attractions people got to dance around under the moonlight.
Pulling her hand back to make her body collide to his chest. "Honor me?" He asked lifting her chin with his finger tilting his head. Not being able to answer him, she nodded. "I'll let that go but for future reference I expect words when I ask you a question." He purred in her ear. As he held her close in a few slow dances. Many men looked to him with envy, the women eyeing her in jealousy. Xavier was so lost in her eyes that here dances went by and he didn't even noticed time felt still with her, as the world just passing them by. "I think we need to call it a night it's about nine and we both have work tomorrow." She said as she was coming back to reality. "Do we have to?" He asked in a pained voice. "I think it's for the best. Besides it's not like we can't do this again. Right?" His heart felt so full and soaring as she asked them question. "Of course babe. I think it's safe to say we are going to be doing this every chance I can get." He said in happy playful voice.
Walking up to her door, he was so reluctant to let her go, but knew he needed to for the time being. "I had such a wonderful time tonight. I should admit I was really nervous about tonight you are the first date I've had in about a year and a half." "Really?" He was shocked. "Yeah. I am so glad I came. It was perfect." She said after unlocking her door and placing her stuff down and standing in front of the door. "Yeah well I was nervous too you know?" He told her pulling her in by her hips hands on both sides of them as her. "You? I find that hard to believe." She teased placing her hands around his neck. "Naw for real, I was nervous. You uh, you're my first date." He told her making sure she was holding eye contact. "Since when?" Feeling confused. "Like ever." He exhaled out slowly with a small chuckle. "How is that possible have you seen you?" She asked shocked almost stepping back but his hold wouldn't let her.
"No one ever caught my attention. Well no one special at least. Than I bumped into a beautiful woman at a bar that caught my eye and attention and I haven't been able to think right since." He said moving her slowly from side to side slowly. "You blow me away you now that." "I hope so in good ways." "Only." "I should go. I'll call you baby." He placed both hands on her cheeks and lower jaw kissing her tenderly than getting a little carried away. After a few minutes they finally pulled apart to catch their breath. "Still best kiss I've ever had." He mumbled to her making her smile and turn red. "Lock up Angel." Walking in feeling she was on cloud nine locking up and getting ready for bed. She couldn't help but be thankful for the best night she ever had.
~Xavier~
Walking in the door to his home which was basically a small mansion. There was at least ten rooms, one office, one library, a family room, a living room, a huge kitchen with joining dining room, six bathrooms, not including the five bathrooms that were connected to the bedrooms. A huge yard all the way around. A long drive way out in the middle of nowhere. Xavier smile was so big and he could not take it off his face. The guys and the girls were sitting on the couch with long looks on their faces. "What are you guys still doing here?" He asked happily looking around for his smile to drop. "We got a talk bro." Hunter said standing up making Xavier sit down and handing him the files. After a good thirty minutes Xavier felt torn.
"So you're telling me my future queen is a detective for both the city and the FBI." Xavier asked defeated. "Yes." "She is one of your partners, as you pose under cover for us?" Yup." Hunter said popping the p at the end. "And she has gone back and freed about seventy five of our men, while swapping them out and putting around two hundred of Moretti's men in jail with evidence?" Xavier felt so confused. "Well not completely these are copies of the files she is completing this week but this is her plans she already talked to judges with and they agreed." Hunter said. "Are you sure she doesn't know who you are?" Ryder asked in a laugh. "She is covering our ass in so many ways legally and has no clue." Axel said with a laugh. "What are you thinking Reaper?" Leah asked in concerned for him.
"I feel so torn. I mean I can't believe she's a badge. I mean I know I should be pist or something but I can't be because you know we both honestly didn't know. Fate has a sick twisted sense of humor. Than you know on the other hand I think it's fucking hot she's nailing all of Gunner's men and mine are finally coming home. I know I should probably to the right things and end it and not drag her threw all my of my shit even of she wasn't a badge. She busted her ass to get to that spot, like we did to get here where we are. I just. I don't think I can. I can't give her up and I know how selfish that is. It's just you know she's funny, smart, and beautiful, and driven. She's down to Earth. She's hell on wheels and yet like a saving grace around her I feel like me, a me I didn't think existed." "She's your happy. That's what real happiness feels like." Ellie said sitting on Ryders lap. "No, it's what love feels like. I'll be damned if he aint his fathers son. Some one ought to call his mama she going to get a kick out of this." Axel said rubbing Leah's back as she was sitting on his lap.
"What am I supposed to do?" Xavier asked looking around to his family. "We know that you should probably walk cause again she is a badge. However we really like her Xav and we want her to stay." Leah said flatly. "Yeah who's to say she won't be into this life? Maybe you're not giving her enough credit." Enzo said shrugging. "I can keep her off your trail on the mafia shit for a long time. Long enough for you to get her to fall madly in love with you to where she can't leave your big ass; but you are going to have to tell her about your legit business." Hunter said. "Alright you guys are right. I mean were just dating causally right now anyway I still got a little further down this road to go before all that even comes up and well have to come up with a couple of game plans when it does. Right now I'm still stuck in phase one getting her to be mine in the first place. I'm going to have to call my dad and tell him maybe he can help me out." Xavier said running his hands through his hair. The room got silent as everyone looked around.
"What. Did. You. Do?" He asked looking at all of them. Turning the laptop around to see the screen with his dad on facetime starring at hi in a chair sitting up with his arms crossed. "Hello son." "You already snitched?" Xavier growled to Hunter. "I had to. You know it. You can't think this through with us we retarded as fuck." Hunter yelled back. "Enough. Boy sit down all of you damn kid sit. I know everything. So let's just get down to it because I'm about six hour ahead of you and I got to get back to your mom before she wakes up. Xavier look you know what your doing and you're a great judge of character. Obviously there is something about that woman that not even your damn evil twisted psycho ass soul can't ignore. I know I've been there. I wan tot tell you it will get better, and easier but son you come from me and your grandpa and his daddy before him so it won't out of about ten generations of our men this is always the case. Once our heart lays on that one special woman that's it you are signed, sealed, and delivered as theirs for the rest of your days. Rather they want to be or not. Don't matter it will work out in the end I swear that to you. You will go through hell with and for this woman and that's alright. I know this is the first time any of us ever took a badge as a queen but hell first time for everything. If that is who you can't get out of your head. If the thought of losing her in any type of way if the thought of any other man trying to touch or reach her shakes you to your core don't let her go son." Angelo told him with all the love he could muster for his son.
"You would be ok with this? Me being with a cop?" "It's not like we don't have half of them in our damn pockets anyway. More CIA and FBI now too. I give you my blessing. I'm just happy you finally found someone to calm your crazy ass down. I got to go I can hear your mom starting to move back around and I'm not exactly done up there if you catch me." "Gross and you wonder why I'm a pyscho never getting your corny damn sex jokes." "Boy you the life size version of our corny sex joke. Now get your head on right your shit together and claim your woman before some other damn legit brother does. Love you. Remember to call your mama. " He said as he hung up. "Well the rules are if the Don before you gives a blessing you can accept it." Axel said smiling to him. "Yup besides you're not the first one to have a cop wifey, it's been done in other countries man it's really alright." Ryder said rubbing his hand on his face lost in thought. "Yeah besides who in the family will grow any balls to tell you who you can be with." Hunter said laughing hard. "Look the men just happy you happy man never thought any of us would live long enough to see this day." Enzo said patting his shoulder as they were all standing up and heading out.
Axel stopping being the last one out. "What you really going to do bro?" He asked as it was just them two for a minute. "I think I'm going to really think everything through." "That's smart. You know though your dad is right if it's only been over two weeks and you got it this bad. I don't want you to miss out on something that make you this happy. I know the dangers and all of that, that comes between you both life style wise. Just you owe it to yourself to be a little selfish sometimes I can hear and see on that damn screen the way she looks at you and talks to you this is not one sided man. I just don't think you should give her give her up if she makes you feel this happy this human man. It's so easy to lose our humanity doing this line of work. Don't let it go if you got it with her." Axel warned him before he left locking the door.
Waking up in the morning. After long debate in his head he finally figured out what he was going to do. Sitting down in his office going over the paper work he need to go through and sign. His phone light up. "Hello." "Hey Xav sorry for bugging you so early but I had a quick break and Chloe hit me up last night wanting to do a double date with you and Enzo at the movies this weekend and I was wondering if you wanted to go. So do you want to be my date this Friday night?" She asked perky and playfully he could feel the smile on her face. His heart was tugging him in a way that made him feel all kinds of things he never he could biting his lips he heard her call for him again. "Xavier are you there?" "Yeah I'm here." He rushed in. "So what do you say are you in?" "I'm so far in Angel." He told her before a few more details and hanging up. Yup I'm definitely going all in.
