4. Beni

We continued to walk following my three friends who had already gone to the cafeteria. 

"I'm Beni, what's your name?" he asked, holding out his hand. 

"I'm Sisi." 

"Sisi, where is your house?"

 "close from here. Behind the school. The dormitory."

 "Oh yeah? Was your father a soldier?" he asked. 

"Oh no. I live with grandma, and that's my grandfather's official residence."

 "I see. Can I play over to your house? "

"Of course."

 We arrived at the cafeteria, I immediately went in and ordered food with my three friends. Beni joined in buying fresh drinks and continued to follow me. He just kept smiling when I looked at him. Funny indeed. But he's been very polite so far. There is no bad predicate that has been attached to it. We chatted a lot together. This time, friends are also familiar with Beni. Even when we were about to return to class, he continued to follow, even though the classroom had already been passed.

 "You're not in class?" I asked while looking at his class which was on the second floor. 

"Later. I want to take you to class first. It's not good for girls to walk alone. Look, there are lots of playboy's eyes here," he pointed with a smile.

I just laughed and didn't mean to throw him out, because right in front of the science class, Dwi was seen. He is still looking at me walking with Beni. We reached the end of the stairs. My three friends had already walked in first. Beni then said goodbye, but I held his hand when I saw the figure of the woman in the class appear in the middle of the stairs. 

"Um, can you take me to the top?"

 "Oh okay." He walked a little ahead of me but continued to watch my steps. There's not much to talk about anymore, because I also feel like I can't focus this time. 

The closer I got, the more hot and cold the student felt. I was surprised, there were so many astral figures in my school. Did many students die in this school? When the figure of the student was near, I took Beni's hand and walked behind him. The figure stood in the middle of the road and made me unable to walk freely. 

"What is it?" he asked and stopped right in front of the figure.

 "Thanks, Ben. Me first!" I screamed. My class which is at the end of the corridor makes me have to pass another class first. I kept walking fast and saw Hanga standing in front of the class.

 "Why?" he asked.

 "It's on the stairs!" I said go to class. Hangga was seen looking up at the stairs from where he was standing. Though he will not be able to see what I said earlier. I headed for the chair where the three women had chuckled at my arrival. 

"Damn! I was abandoned" I mumbled.

 "We don't want to disturb," Wardani said mockingly.

 "You have a lot of fans too," said Asti with a smile.

 "Look over there. He's looking for you, Si!" Show Mia to the second classroom which is visible from my class, because we are on the same floor, although in different buildings.

Beni is standing in front of the class, right on the parapet while propping his chin up and looking at my class. He then waved his hand and shouted my name. To the extent that my male friends in front of the class called me. 

"Sisi! Beni is looking for you!" But I didn't care. The class is still busy because the class is currently empty. The teacher of this lesson is currently having an interest, and we are only told to do the assignment.

"Sisi..." Beni called while keeping pace with my steps.

 Dani and I, who were going to go home, slowed down a bit. As usual, Dani stopped by because he was avoiding the private services provided by his parents. my house.

 "Uh, where are you going, Ben?" I asked, pretending not to understand.

 "Can I play at home?" 

"When?" I asked this question with a slightly surprised expression. We just got acquainted, Beni's movement is quite significant apparently. 

"Later tonight." Dani and I looked at each other, and finally, we stopped because Beni's motorbike, which he parked on the sidewalk, was getting further and further away.

 "Later tonight?" I asked, repeating the sentence. Meanwhile, Dani elbowed me while glaring. I don't know what sign language he wanted to say. I responded by raising an eyebrow. As a result, Dani immediately pinched my waist while nodding faintly.

 "Um, okay." 

"Really?" Beni looks radiant.

 "Yes. What time?"

 "After sunset, yes," he said happily. 

"Oh, okay. Well, I'm going home first."

 "Careful!" she screamed as I walked away holding Dani

After the Maghrib call to prayer echoed. My heart is racing a little because Beni is coming. I hope he can't because I'm a little nervous about his being too aggressive like this. But apparently, that desire is the opposite of reality. When grandma came into my room and said that a friend had come, and was waiting in the living room.

 "You've come, apparently," I greeted pleasantly then sat on a chair a bit far from him. He looks more mature in a black and white plaid shirt, and blue jeans. I could smell his body as soon as I sat down. Well, the perfume she's wearing. He looked nervous, with his hands clenched in his lap, and just smiled and nodded.

 "Where is your house?" I asked to open a chat.

 "Oh yeah. You didn't come in for a long time yesterday. What's the lesson anyway?" He tried to see the cover of the book I was holding.

 "This, chemistry. I don't understand at all." I showed him the book and he accepted it and turned page after page.

 "Want me to teach you?" he asked, still focused on the book in his hand. "Is it possible?"

 "Um, can or not, we better try," he said as if he was teasing me. I didn't think that Beni was good at chemistry. He explained a few theories and secrets so that I could better understand the lesson. "So how? Got it?"

 "Well, I see now. Thank you for teaching me." 

"If you need more help, just say so." Ben smiled kindly. I know, if he likes me, just like before. The difference is, I used to stay away from him openly. I showed that I wasn't interested in him until I finally realized when he was already dating another girl, that he was a very nice and sweet guy. Maybe it's time for me to fix things.
