People say, kingdom needs to be built on trust but I am building it on lies. If liar is whom I need to become, then I shall gladly lie the entire world.

I Lied To Become Village Chief

In the middle of the Xuan Village, two men stood in front of each other. On one side, it was Gu Chen. On another side, it was Xiao Village Captain. Surrounding them were the people of Xuan Village and very few people of Xiao Village.

Gu Tian, Gu Shui, Zhao Hao, Pu Su, and Zhao Yue were standing behind Gu Chen while Captain Xiao's son and father were standing behind Captain Xiao. They were nearly fifty meters far from Gu Chen and Captain Xiao though.

"You are pretty stupid to accept this challenge. But, I have to say this makes it a lot easier to kill you." Captain Xiao stared at Gu Chen and coldly stated.

"You can't kill me, not today, not here." Gu Chen simply glared at him and spoke. There was no hint of hesitation and fear in his eyes.

Hearing his words, a smirk appeared on his lips. Captain Xiao raises both of his hands above his forehead and swings them down, releasing a massive aura from his body.
