"Well as we all know that the main reason for being here is to decide the engagement and wedding date of my son and as the head of this family...I have decided that the engagement should happen on a Saturday night,two weeks from now and the wedding a month later,"Mr Storm spoke as they were having dinner.Milady clapped happily and they congratulated the 'couples' to be.On the other hand,Ammy felt heartbroken by the news.All she wanted was to get done with all the ceremonies and be with her sister.She glanced at Max but the guy wasn't even looking at her.She sighed silently and forced a sweet smile on her beautiful face.

"I have been patient for more than an year now then two months can definitely not be an issue,'she encouraged herself while smiling.Dinner was finally over and the Santos left for their mansion.

"Ammy dear, I asked the butler to prepare you a room and a new maid since Rose is now at your mansion,"Camilla spoke warmly at her.She smiled warmly at her soon to be mother and parted her lips to say something but Max spoke instead.

"That was not necessary mother since I want to share my room with my wife to be,"Max declined his mother's idea.Camilla looked at her questioningly before speaking.

"Son,you know that you are not supposed to share a room until you are married."

"But mother,we share a room at my mansion so that shouldn't be an issue."

"That is at your mansion Maxwell not my mansion,"Camilla corrected her son ,her voice quite risen.

"Camilla honey,let the young people be,"Mr Storm interjected.

"I won't David and besides I never stayed in the same room with you until we were married."

"Mother that was during your boring 'stone age period',"Michael finally spoke and Milady and Ammy bursted with laughter.

"Stone age period' baby?.... ofcourse yes but then the rules of the house remain,"Camilla spoke calmly.Max couldn't help but agree to his mother's rules.He was somehow disappointed because he wanted to punish his wife for punishing him when they were having dinner.He sighed loudly and stood from his seat.

"Okay mother,you won and it's fine...so goodnight all,"he spoke as he walked away to his room.Ammy almost shouted for joy.She really didn't want to share re room with him and she was grateful that she wouldn't.

"And you will have to go back to your mansion tomorrow and don't think of coming back until on the day of the engagement,"Camilla shouted at his son who was already out of the dinning room.That was not one of the rules but she wanted to tease him some more.Max cursed under his breath before responding.

"No mum...I don't accept that,"he responded and Camilla chuckled happily.Max walked away to his room and laid on the the bed.He was still feeling hot after what Ammy just did and he wanted to tease her back and more than she did but his mother had made that impossible.He got off the bed and went to have a cold shower.He came back to his room fully dressed for bed when his phone buzzed.He grabbed it from the beautiful small glass table beside the bed.It was a conference call from Miguel.Max received it and spoke first.

"You know what man,you should check the time before calling,"he growled.

"Ooh..cool down Max and you aren't married for you to say that we interrupted something important,"Vivan spoke teasingly at him.

"Incase you forgot man...this dude is married now,"Miguel finally spoke.

"I forgot that because I never attended any engagement party nor a wedding ceremony,"Vivan continued while laughing heartily.

"Did you call for this you assholes?"Max asked his voice getting louder.

"Okay fine...we are not more of assholes than you anyways.."Vivan retorted.

"Okay okay...calm down both of you because I have something so cool to tell you,"Miguel spoke to calm the tension between his two friends.

"And what's that,"Max asked with lack of interest.

"Well... somebody's sister finally said yes to me!"Miguel shouted happily and the other two men frowned.

"So you called me to tell me that my sister agreed to be with you...a fool like yourself!?....is that girl serious!?"Vivan spoke harshly though he was just joking and teasing his friend.Infact,he was happy because he knew how hardworking and responsible Miguel was and he wouldn't dare come between their long time hidden love.

"Then I guess that's really the most heartbreaking and unwanted and shocking news ever.... don't you think Vivan?"Max joined his friend to tease their friend.

"Absolutely Max!"Vivan agreed and Miguel's brows creased in displeasure and his face got dark.He couldn't believe his friends.

"Are you guys serious?"he asked in disbelief.

"Ofcourse we are,"Max spoke seriously just to intimidate his friend.Miguel dropped the phone on the bed and rested his head on the headboard.He had called to share his joy with his friends but they were busy talking nonsense.

"Miguel... Miguel...are you there?"Max called teasingly.

"Oh my... don't tell me he died of heartbreak or sorrow!"Vivan teased while laughing.

"Ofcourse I am alive...why should I even die because of you two rascals?"Miguel retorted as he picked his phone again.

"We were just teasing you buddy.... congratulations and we will definitely be at your wedding,"Max congratulated his friend though his voice remained serious.

"And you have my blessings as Viviana's older brother as much as I didn't like the idea of you chasing after her but all the best,"Vivan spoke.Miguel smiled at them.

"Thanks guys but you didn't have to out up that crazy play.... though it's not like it would have changed anything."

"Then I guess I have the best news then Guys,"Max spoke calmly and they all fell silent so that he could speak but he didn't.

"We are listening dude!"they both spoke at one.Max cleared his throat shortly and parted his lips to speak.

"Well guys my family has decided that my engagement party will be in two weeks time from now and my wedding a month after,"he spoke.

"Woow.... that's really fantastic news....and it calls a for celebration,"Vivan spoke but Miguel remained silent.He knew Max was marrying Ammy so as to get his parents off his back because they were pressuring him to get married.He didn't like that fact because he felt like Ammy was a good girl and deserved better.

"Wait....Max you know that girl is so cool and fine and humble and innocent but you....you still have issues with your past love life... aren't you going to just use her for your own benefit?"Miguel asked calmly.

"We signed a contract and we are doing this to make our relationship look real for my family....it's not like I love her....I can't even love her or any other woman apart from my mother and sister and my cousin Maya because they are real women,"Max spoke shamelessly.

"But that's not fair Max...the girl doesn't deserve that so don't do that to her,"Vivan spoke.

"I said it guys....I don't love her and I wouldn't touch her so am not using her in anyway and you can concentrate on your lives as someone now has a new girlfriend and another doesn't have a new playing toy,"Max spoke angrily before hanging the phone.

"They think she is a gem but she is just a beautiful but stubborn poor girl and an annoying crying baby,"Max spoke to himself before turning off the beside lamp and laid on the bed breathing sharply.
