"Mother, better stop your silly thoughts..."May whispered in her mother's ear and the woman just ignored her and continued firing bullets at Ammy.Maya knew how wicked her mother can be sometimes and she wondered how her mother ended up with such a caring brother,Mr Storm and a wonderful husband like her dad,Mr Santos.Since she didn't want to create a ruckus and destroy this happy moment,she decided to remain cool.Just then, Cynthia grabbed her phone an typed a message.She knew that this cunning woman was planning something and she would just sit and witness her drama unfold but if she dared hurt anyone then she wouldn't hesitate to speak the truth.

"Am sorry family but I had invited my friend's daughter to my house for dinner but since we here today,I asked her to come over.Hope it's okay with everyone,"Cynthia spoke calmly.Mark looked at his wife,she had not told him that she had invited a friend's daughter over to their house.He knew that his wife was planning something.

"Who is that?... and you never told me about her coming,"Mark spoke instead.Cynthia clenched her hands into fist before forcing a smile while talking.

'This man is trying to act smart but I won't let him know anything,'she spoke inwardly.

"Oh honey,it. must have slipped my mind...am sorry,"she answered with a forced smile so that her husband wouldn't suspect her.Little did she know...

"It's fine Cynthia....they say a friend's or neighbor's child is like your own child so it's alright,"Camilla,Mrs Storm answered.

"Thank you Camilla,"she spoke and the chit chat began.Max who had been quiet all along as his eyes were glued on his phone finally switched it off and slipped into his pocket.It was time to behave as a wonderful fiance.He raised his arm and wrapped it around Ammy's waist since everyone was into the chit chat.Ammy felt the strong arm wrapping her waist and she almost stopped breathing in shock.She turned around and faced him and Max smiled warmly at her which made the young people's eyes widen in surprise since they had seen his step.Ever since he was introduced into the business world,nine years ago,Max gradually stopped smiling or laughing as he turned into a cold beast. Therefore,when they saw Max smiling sweetly at Ammy,they all fell silent and watched them silently and in surprise.

"Hello my love,"he whispered and Ammy forced a smile for him Incase anyone was watching so that they wouldn't doupt them.

"Hello Max,"she responded since she couldn't ignore him as much as she wanted to.He had been rude to her earlier that day an when she arrived and greeted him,he just ignored her and he was now calling her love?...Ammy felt confused by his actions.

"You look beautiful my love,"he spoke as he captured her lips for a brief kiss thinking that everyone was still busy chatting.Little did she know that all eyes were on them, staring at Max with disbelief.Ammy was shocked by his move and didn't know what to do.Her cheeks flushed red as Max continued giving her brief kisses continuously.Everyone was pleased by the sight before them and they were happy that Max was know moving on after the scandle he had with his first lover,Renna.But Cynthia and her evil daughter Sherlyne were not happy at all.

"Son, acknowledge your elders and you should wait until marriage,"Camilla teased him and Max pulled away almost immediately as if nothing happened and Ammy smiled shyly while looking down at her entwining fingers.Camilla saw her reaction and she smiled inwardly while speaking to herself.

'She is so innocent and I love her for my son and I will do everything for them to remain together.'

"Excuse me.... dinner is ready,"the butler informed."And there is a lady at the door who says that she was invited for dinner by Mrs Santos."he continued.

"Oh let the poor girl in Richard,"Cynthia spoke and the butler bowed before walking away and came back with the girl.She was of good height and very beautiful and she wore a short pink dress that exposed her beautiful long and slender legs and black wedges.Max looked at her and hated her instantly.He didn't like ladies exposing their bodies so much. Cynthia embraced the girl and introduced her to the family.

"My dearest family....this is Emma Johns and the only daughter of the one Mr Johns we all know and Emma,meet my family, the Storm family,"Cynthia introduced.

"Hello everyone....nice to meet you all,"she spoke while smiling warmly and innocently.

"Welcome dear....you just arrived at the right time since dinner is already served so let's get going now,"Camilla spoke and they all walked to the dinning room.The maids served the meal and they started eating while chatting happily.Ammy was sitting silently with Max at her right and Milady at her left.The food was yummy but she had to eat a lady-like.If she was at home or with her friends,they would just decide to compete while eating.Ammy smiled at the thought and she raised her head from her food and her eyes fell on the lady who was stealing glances towards her husband while bitting her lips seductively.Ammy turned her gaze to Max who was staring at the girl in anger though the girl didn't see how angry he was since Max didn't want anyone to note the change.Ammy decided to make a move too.

"You aren't eating your food,"she spoke calmly but loud enough for everyone to hear while she rested her hand on his upper thigh just near his member.Max got startled..not because of what she said but where she touched him.He felt like he was starting to feel hot and he gazed at her for a while before he could gain his composure.He couldn't understand how his body reacted towards Ammy's touch.

"Are you okay?"Ammy asked calmly.

"Yes... yes my love....am okay,"he spoke and Ammy felt a certain feeling she didn't understand when he called her 'my love' before everyone.Even though it was pretence,she still felt happy and her grip on his upper thigh tightened without her knowing.Max turned to face her after her little act and his ears turned red due to the hotness he felt.Milady noted the look on her brother's face and since she understood those 'things' very well,she looked at the two well and smiled calmly when she saw how and where Ammy had touched her brother.

'Thats a good move Ammy,'she thought while smiling broadly.Meanwhile, everyone was shocked when they heard Max call Ammy his love infront of everyone but Emma's smile faded when she heard what he said.
