Wang Yu had returned to the sect after hunting the boar, but he didn't bring the boar's skin but a young wolf that he had met on his way back. Funnily people advised him to enter a hunting group, they thought of him as an impulsive kid who was risking his life because of his own ego.
Nevertheless, Wang Yu didn't care and returned to the forest two days later to continue training inside the forest for another two months.
What was worth noting was that Wang Yu didn't use his skill The Blood Devouring during those two months. He had grown very strong in a short period of time, and if he continued using it, he would risk endangering his body. After all, the blood sucked from his prey wasn't his and he would need time to purify it and also to adapt to the change in his body.
During this time, Wang Yu seldomly returned to the sect. He continued to live and hunt inside the forest.
It was worth noting that he had seen many hunter groups during this period, but with the help of the Spirit Pot, his senses had improved so much that he could feel the faintest sounds, letting him avoid contact with other hunters.
"I will try to enter the Dream World again," Today Wang Yu decided to visit the Dream World so he closed his eyes.
Upon entering the dream world, Wang Yu was immediately struck by the stunning beauty that surrounded him. He found himself in a paradise-like landscape filled with a variety of flowers and small trees. However, the only thing missing from this idyllic scene was the presence of animals. Despite its breathtaking beauty, the Dream World felt desolate and empty, with no signs of life beyond the trees and herbs that dotted the landscape.
In the middle of this beautiful vista stood a medium-sized tree, its elegant branches and leaves mesmerizing Wang Yu even though this was his second visit to the dream world. Under the tree was a table, upon which lay several scrolls. It was from these scrolls that Wang Yu had learned about the existence of Array Formations.
As Wang Yu took in the sights and sounds of the dream world, he couldn't help but be awed by the grandeur of the stairways that seemed to stretch up towards the sky.
He felt as if he was in a real world, he couldn't feel any difference aside from the pressure on his mind.
Despite the stunning beauty of the dream world, Wang Yu knew that he couldn't afford to linger and admire the scenery. He had a headache and needed to quickly read the scrolls that were waiting for him under the tree in the middle of the beautiful landscape. Without hesitation, he rushed towards the tree and sat down at the table, picking up a scroll titled "Introduction to the Art of Inscription."
As he began to read, he was shocked by the definition of inscription contained within the scroll: "Inscription is the art of the world, it goes with understanding the smallest particles in the world to changing the nature of materials, turning steel into gold, the worst into the best." This revelation left Wang Yu in awe and he hurriedly continued to read, learning that "we inscription masters search for the truth above all, we search to understand our surroundings and to create great treasures."
Wang Yu was further amazed to discover that inscription techniques could not only turn materials into magical objects, but they could also change the aptitude of living beings. However, the pain in Wang Yu's head became too much to bear, and he was forced to leave the dream world.
As he breathed heavily, trying to catch his breath, he couldn't help but think about the incredible concepts he had just learned about. "Is it really possible to change the nature of things?" he wondered to himself. "When will I be able to learn the arts of inscription and array formations?" he muttered under his breath.
Thankfully, this time he felt some improvement. He was able to endure for over 2 minutes and the headache was less painful too.
...
Wang Yu had the option of joining a hunting group, but he preferred to train and hunt alone in the forest, challenging himself and striving to improve his strength in order to protect himself and those he cared about.
Over the course of six months, Wang Yu had made significant progress in his training, bringing back prey at the peak of the bronze tier to the sect.
This impressive feat surprised the members of the sect, leading them to nickname Wang Yu the "next Situ Mu."
However, Wang Yu remained vigilant, knowing that if he were to bring back silver tier middle stage beasts, it would likely cause even greater shock and attention within the sect.
…..
Right now, Wang Yu was engaged in a battle with a pack of wolves, led by a silver tier middle stage beast. As he fought against the pack leader and his three strong soldiers, who were at the beginning of the silver tier, one of the weaker wolves tried to attack Wang Yu from behind. However, Wang Yu was alert and quickly turned around to throw a punch that destroyed the wolf's head.
The pack leader then took the opportunity to jump fiercely at Wang Yu, attempting to finish him off. With no other choice, Wang Yu ran ahead towards the weaker wolves without looking back. In the process, his leg was grazed, but he did not stop. Despite killing most of the weaker wolves, Wang Yu was unable to continue fighting and had to run away as fast as he could, despite his injury.
After five minutes of running, the wolves lost sight of Wang Yu and howled in frustration, angry that they had lost many of their pack but were unable to kill their enemy.
….
"Damn those imbecile wolves, they nearly killed me. It seems I'll have to target weaker foes until I'm strong enough," Wang Yu said upon returning to his base, which was becoming cluttered with the spoils of his hunting activities. If he sold all of his possessions and added the funds to his thousand sect coins, Wang Yu was sure he would be able to buy a cheap Immortal medicine.
"I need to wait for a little more time. Four months from now, I'll show the skin of beasts at the beginning of the silver tier," Wang Yu said to himself as he sat down and began to breathe according to the Everlasting Turtle technique. Shockingly the wound on his leg started to close up until it disappeared. However, his face turned paler as he realized that he had used up some of his stored energy to heal himself.
If someone had been present, they would have been shocked by the extent to which Wang Yu was able to control his body. For a mortal to have this level of control was truly unthinkable.
Wang Yu left his base with the intention of hunting in order to replenish his lost vitality. After ten minutes of searching, he found a large python on a tree and estimated it to be at the beginning of the silver tier. Wang Yu jumped towards the python and slashed at its head with his sword.
The python tried to defend itself by blocking the attack with its tail, but the tail was cut off. Wang Yu did not stop there and thrust his sword towards the python's mouth, ultimately killing it.
After defeating the python, Wang Yu started to drink its blood, which restored him to his former strength and healed his wound. The tiredness that he had previously felt also disappeared.
As Wang Yu was drinking the blood of the python, he heard a muffled sound and turned to see a group of hunters standing about fifty meters away from him.
The group consisted of a young lady, a young man in a dark robe with green eyes, and several bronze tier warriors. Wang Yu observed that they seemed to be a new hunting group and that they were not as dedicated or skilled as his previous hunting group had been.
Wang Yu, who had been living and training in the forest for nearly two years, was no longer an amateur himself. He noticed that the group in front of him only had one member at the beginning stage of the silver tier.
Wang Yu stood there, unsure of what to do. Should he silence them or not?
