Chapter 81

Euron Greyjoy - Captain of the Silence

I can see my men create a movement with his hand, and that makes me frown. That means there is something on our way to take over Starfall. I take the spyglass and look at where he points at.

I can see a massive wooden tower on the side of the river and many lights on the river banks. I frown a little at sight in front of me. That is bad for my plan.

We cannot take over the High Hermitage because it was built on top of a hill. I cannot go there without getting my men destroyed. The same with Blackmont was on top of a hill surrounded by mountains, and there was only one entrance, the main entrance.

I know there is a secret passage, but I don't know its location. Searching for it will take a long time, and I don't have the time needed.

Tch. This plan may not work—time to go and use the other plan.

*swish* *thump*

I widen my eyes when an arrow flies past me. I look at my back and see a group of soldiers coming at us. Dammit!

I take out my bow and fire it at the incoming enemy.

"Retreat!"

I told my men to run to our ship while also using our bow to kill as many enemies as we could. I boarded the vessel and ordered my men to row the boat quickly. I ignore the others who are still fighting on the land and continue to sail away.

Now, I need to build more ships for the Honeywine river raid. I will attack from the north while my brother will attack from the south.

I hope the marching army from the east to Highgarden is like my little present for them.

Randyll Tarly - Lord of Horn Hill and Lord of House of Tarly

"Bwahahahaha! They are afraid of me and abandon the city!"

I frown a little and ignore Buffoon, who laughs loudly. Does he think the Greyjoy who easily occupied his city will let him take it back without a fight? No, they will hold it as long as they can. There is something wrong with this place.

"It is too quiet."

My knights nod their heads.

"Aye. It is too quiet and makes my dick shrivel."

I ignored his crass words and continued to ride to the castle, where my instinct told me to run away quickly. I can see the others also notice there is something wrong in this place and get even more paranoid while the Buffoon lord keeps laughing and boasting about how Greyjoy is afraid of him.

"Fire! Fire!"

I snap from thought and quickly order my men to retreat. I grab the Buffoon and pull him away as flaming oil hits the ground.

"We need to get out of here! Go! Go! Go!"

Never in my life have I seen this fat bastard run so fast. He left behind his men without a second thought as if they were worth nothing. What kind of lord is doing that? I shake my head and continue to run out of the castle.

However, when we get out of the castle, all I can see is fire. The entire city is on fire.

I grit my teeth and let the big fat oaf on the horse before taking the rein myself. Our horse continued galloping across the city, dodging all the fire around us. Even when we are out of the city, I push the horse to continue running before we are far enough from the city.

I look at the city of Highgarden burning while we are on top of a hill. Highgarden has fallen, and we just lost another thousand soldiers in the fire. We will be a laughing stock in Westeros. All this happens because this stupid lord underestimates our enemy.

I look at the pathetic lord crying on the ground while saying how the Gods are unjust for destroying his home. But, of course, he never once thought that it was his fault, to begin with.

Jon Arryn - Lord of the Eyrie and Hand of the King

"Dammit!"

I put down the letter and rub my head as my headache worsens. I can see Lord Tywin take the letter and read it. I can see his frown get even deeper than before.

"We should start to sail. When all of my men arrive, we are ready to go."

Tywin looks at me and says.

"Aye. I already told the captain to set sail later tonight."

We have yet to set sail because we need to wait for the Old Lion and his army to arrive in the capital. We cannot meet with him and his army in Lannisport because the Greyjoy Fleet constantly harasses the city.

They cannot counterattack the Greyjoy who rule over the western sea. Each time the Lannister tries to build a ship, the Greyjoy will attack and burn the place down.

The only reason why the Royal Fleet is still alive and well is because Dorne and Lunaria block all the attempts Greyjoy makes to reach the Royal Fleet. If not for them, I'm afraid that we would not survive and the only thing we can do is fight them on the mainland.

"What about the Reach?"

"What about them? They are not willing to send their troops to help us when Lannisport gets sacked. We will not help them rebuild Highgarden."

I can see the Old Lion smirk in satisfaction at my word and nod his head before walking away from the war room.

I can hear Mace Tyrell screaming, begging me to help him rebuild his beloved city and castle. With the burning of Highgarden, the Greyjoy became a higher threat than before.

Before, I could pardon them for their wrongdoing, but now… many High Lords want to exterminate their house. It looks like the Great House of Greyjoy will be gone by the end of this war.

I wouldn't say I like killing a Great House, but they have gone too far and must be exterminated. We need to make an example, and Greyjoy will be the example to make the other house obey the law.
