Chapter 82

Bloody hell. I never thought that Greyjoy would be this ruthless. If not for the guild knowing about their plan beforehand, all of the people in Highgarden would be dead. Many people are still dying, but at least a thousand people manage to get out of the city before it burns into ashes.

"How do they get that much oil?! Oil is expensive! The only one who produces oil is the island of Ibben."

Doran shouted in frustration. I understand the reason why he is that frustrated. With that much oil, Euron Greyjoy can burn the entire Starfall city, but I have a feeling he did not have that much more oil. He can destroy the outpost we build, but he will not be able to do the same to the city of Starfall.

"I don't think they will do that, Doran."

"Aye. I agree with that brat. You don't need to worry, brother."

I can see Doran sit on his chair and sigh.

"I'm sorry. I guess you are right. That amount of oil can only be used once and especially the amount used to burn the entire city of Highgarden."

"They get them from the merchant from Ibben."

I look at Patrick and say.

"Continue."

"We notice that the Greyjoy pirate will always stay close to the coast of Dorne before this chaos is happening. At first we thought that they wanted to raid the people of Dorne but Lord Doran said that they never once raided them and now I know the reason why they stay on the coast."

"They did not want us to interfere with their business."

"Aye. The reason why they did not raid the Narrow Sea is that they have their eyes to the north. They are raiding at the Shivering Sea."

They are really bold to raid the Shivering Sea. It was the most chaotic sea in the world, and they decided to raid the merchant there. They are really fearless, just like the rumor says.

"So, what should we do now?"

I look at Doran because this is his matter. If he wants to stay out of this war, then I will help him defend the city of Dorne, but if he wants to go on the offensive, we will quickly sail to the Iron Islands.

"... I think we should help the Royal Fleet."

"What?! Are you out of your mind, brother?!"

Oberyn slams his hand on the table and looks at Doran with a frown on his face.

"To kill the Greyjoy."

"What?"

"They dare to attack our home and it is the time to bring the fight to their home."

"And what about the bastard? Have you forgotten about our revenge, brother?"

"What about them? We will move when they fight the Greyjoy for a few days. We will come and attack them with all of our might when they are already exhausted."

I see. Doran will help the Royal Fleet in the fight, but after they lose a lot of their ships to the Greyjoy. By helping the Royal Family, the Martell family will not lose their prestige to the people for not joining the fight, and by joining late in the fight, the Royal Fleet will lose most of their force.

Seeing that the Dorne only lose a small number of their force, the people will see that Dorne is stronger than the world thinks.

"If you want to do this, Lunaria will not join the fight."

"What?"

The other looked at me with a surprised expression.

"I don't want the others to think that we are using this as a chance to attack Westeros with the help of Dorne. If we join you, you will be branded as a traitor that joins us to take over some of Westeros."

That's right. If we join this fight, it will paint us as opportunists who attack when Westeros is in chaos and weak. I don't want our hard work of getting people inside Westeros to support us to go in vain.

I don't want to use my investment just yet. I want to let it mature a little bit more and use it when the time is right. Sadly, this is not the right time to use it.

"If you want to attack the Greyjoy after the Royal Fleet launch their attack, we will back down and go back to Lunaria."

|3rd POV|

"You bastard!"

The fat king swings his Warhammer at the Greyjoy, stabbing him in the back and crushing his skull in a single swing. Yet, even with his fat body, Robert Baratheon still has an inhuman power that outclasses many men.

"Your majesty!"

Ser Barristan Selmy quickly helps Robert get up.

"Are you okay?"

"This is just a small wound. How is the other?"

"We are winning, your majesty."

"But?"

"But we lose many of our men in the process. The Greyjoy ram their ship into ours and even burn some of them with oil."

"Damn them!"

The Royal Fleet is facing big trouble in this war. With the Greyjoy having many ships in their possession, they can use them as a suicide attack to hold back their advancement.

They manage to take over Arbor, but it costs them a lot. Many of their soldiers are dead from the constant fight against the pirates who use Hit & Run tactics. Their bigger and bulkier ship cannot keep up against the faster Greyjoy's ship.

"How much longer do we need to sail before we arrive in the Iron Islands?"

"The captain says that we should arrive in seven days."

"Tch."

Seven days before they arrive in the Iron Islands. That is too long, in Robert's opinion. They need to get there as fast as possible and end this war before running out of food and men.

However, the closer they are to the Iron Islands, the harder the fight will be.

"Let's stop here. Tell the other to take anything we can take and break apart those bastard ships to repair ours."

"Yes, your majesty."

Before Ser Barristan could walk away, He heard the other shouting about a fleet coming from the south. Both of them quickly run toward the gunwale and see a fleet coming their way. However, when they see the sail showing the Martell family's coat of arms, they sigh in relief.

However, there is one question lingering inside their head.

Why now? And Where is the Lunarian Fleet?
