Chapter 140

Bloody hell. This thing is tough. Not only tough, but he is also a master mage. While Alduin is busy releasing massive balls of fire, I take a deep breath and use my gravity magic to hinder the Undead King.

However, each time I try to do that, some kind of wall appears and prevents me from making him stop. I can only make him slow down but not stop completely. However, it does not mean the gravity I push into him is insufficient to kill a human being.

I push force equal to twenty times the gravity of this planet. Each time he takes a step, he creates a small crater. That only means one thing, he is far stronger than human beings. He could have the strength of a giant, maybe more.

I shake my head and focus on the fight.

I cannot beat him with only Alduin. I need to join the fight. I stand on top of Alduin's body and jump down. I slow down my fall using gravity magic and mask my entire being using concealment magic.

I take out my sword, and the sword lights up without even me doing anything. Fire starts to dance around me, and it cancels my concealment magic. I can feel the intention of the sword, stab the undead king through its heart.

I can feel my entire body heat up and feel it get stronger.

"You bitch. You want me to fight him head-on, huh? Fine! Let's do this."

I take a deep breath and dash forward. I march forward with my sword and a newly enchanted body. A few seconds later, I appear in front of the Night's King and swing down my weapon. The undead king notices me and creates a wall of ice between him and me. However, unlike my normal magic, this sword cut his creation like a hot knife through butter.

The tip of my sword hit his shoulder, and I could see it start burning him. For the first time, I see the undead king's expression change. It looks shocked at what happened. Heh, it looks like what Melisandre said is correct.

This sword is the antithesis of the undead king or the Great Other if we go by her exact word.

The undead king quickly stomps his foot down and jumps away from me. However, as he flies away, Alduin releases a massive fireball at him. The giant fireball hit the undead king and created a massive explosion.

I shield my face to prevent any stone shard from entering my eyes. A few seconds later, the dust disappears, and I can see the undead king still standing there, but his body starts to melt from the fire. However, it was not enough to kill him.

Tch. I know it will not be that easy. I am ready to attack once again, but before I can run at him, I can see him raising his spear and a lot of necrotic mana gathering on the tip of his spear.

"Alduin! Defensive formation!"

Alduin flies down and uses his body to cover me while I gather a lot of mana on my hands. A second later, I cast a shield around the two of us. It was a rough shield, but it should do the job for whatever that thing was planning.

I can see the undead king stop gathering mana. I keep a steady supply of mana into my shield and am ready to give more if something worse happens. When I see the undead king slam his spear on the ground, I can feel a spike of necrotic mana in the air, and a second later, the earth starts to rumble.

I get to hold Alduin, ready to get on top of him and fly away from the ground. I quickly jump and stand on Alduin when the ground beneath me starts to crack.

"Fly!"

Alduin quickly takes off, and the ground beneath me starts to split. My eyes widen when I see something coming out from the earth.

*ROAR*

An undead dragon flies out of the earth. The dragon is the same size as Alduin, a little bit bigger. Its entire body is made of decaying flesh and bones. I don't know how it can fly. Also! Where the hell did he get a dragon?! Since when is there a dragon dead in this place?!

I can see the undead king atop the dragon pointing his spear at us. I frown a little and say.

"Ready to show that thing the real deal, buddy?"

Alduin roars and flies at the undead pair. Two dragons clash, and I hold on to one of Alduin's horns as the impact between the two dragons is too much for me. I push a bit of my mana around my body to let me walk on Alduin's back without being blown away by the shockwave.

I slowly walk forward, and when I stand on Alduin's head, I change the gravity around me and fly at high speed at the undead king. I appear in front of him and swing my sword. The undead king used his spear to block my attack, which strangely managed to block my sword.

I use all my strength and push my sword harder. I even use my gravity to enchant my attack even further. A few seconds later, the undead king gets thrown to the ground so hard it creates a crater three meters deep.

I fly at the undead king at high speed but stop when my instinct screams at me. I quickly fly high just in time as a hundred ice spikes come from the cloud of dust. I swing my sword and push a lot of mana into it to create a massive fire wave as another hundred ice spikes fly at me.

The fire coming from my sword melts all the ice and flies at the undead king. However, it stops when he blocks the fire using his spear.

I know it.

That spear is the only one that can block my sword when it makes contact. I need to get it away from him. I fly at him at high speed, and when I get closer, I release a huge amount of mana and see him fall to the ground because of the gravity increase around him.

I land on the ground and focus on locking the enemy's movement rather than using my gravity magic to fly. I use my new enchanted body and run at full speed. I swing my sword when a wall of ice appears in front of me and continue to run.

Even when he is pinned down, he can create a hundred spikes that appear from underneath me and in front of me while I'm running. I slice my way through and ignore the pain when one of the spikes manages to pierce through my armor.

I continue swinging my sword while running before I appear in front of the undead king, and I thrust my sword. However, before my sword hit his head, the spear moved on its own and blocked my attack.

I jump away and look at the floating spear. I can see blue mist dancing around the spear. I see. He breaks the ice so small it creates a mist that can control the spear even when he is down on the ground.

I jump away from him when another spike of ice appears from the ground. I decide to release the undead king because I want to preserve what little mana I have for a final attack. Now I know that I can affect him using my magic, but with a little more mana than usual, I have a plan. However, I need an opening.

And the opening came. Alduin and the undead dragon fall from the sky and land between the undead king and me. I quickly run forward and try to mask my mana as much as possible, even with the sword trying to fight me.

I can feel my body get exhausted when I try to mask my power, but I push through. I run around the two dragon fighting and get near the undead king searching for me. With the amount of mana getting thrown into the air, even when I cannot even mask half of my entire reserve, it is good enough to sneak near him.

Dragon is truly a creature of mana even when it is undead.

I slowly get near the undead king, and when I'm close enough, I discard my concealment spell and dash forward. I can see him notice me and start spamming his ice spell. A hundred ice spikes came from all directions: Right, Left, Behind, Front, Under, and Above.

I ignore all the pain from that attack and continue moving forward. I continue to swing my sword to cut my way through, and when I'm close enough, I can see the undead king take his spear and get into a fighting stance.

It looks like he finally wants to fight in close combat. Heh. Like I will let him do it.

I clap my hands when I'm close enough, and two portals appear. One portal appears in front of me, and the other behind the undead king. I use all my remaining strength to thrust my sword forward and use the rest to push my body through the portal.

I can see my sword pierce through the undead king's head.

"Heh. You think that I will confront you from the front, huh? I'm planning to stab you in the back from the start. Now, die, and let me have my peace."

I swing my sword to the side and slice his head in half. As he falls to the ground, I can see his body glow, and I prepare for the worst. However, instead of an explosion, his body turns into a blue mist and disappears into thin air.

I look in the distance and see all the undead explode one by one. The first one to explode is the undead dragon that Alduin bites. In the distance, I can see fireworks made of ice. It was an icework exploding on the horizon.

I snap from my thoughts when Alduin starts to roar, and the other two dragons also start to roar. The roar was followed by my companions, who also roared victoriously. The barrier is destroyed, and I know people die after the barrier is gone, but we win. We won the fight, and now it is time to make a peaceful retirement.
