Classes had ended this year, I had already arranged everything to go visit Gulf. My mother agreed, and I had a surprise for Gulf.

Hilary had gotten my number from Gulf and spoken to me. I had told her about my idea, and she had told me his address.

We had planned for her to go out before her class and help me make a delicious dinner for Gulf, when he walked into her apartment, he would meet me there.

Gulf was gone, he had gone to university, since in Thailand they finished a few weeks later than in Korea.

Hilary told me where there were some markets nearby, so that she could buy what she needed.

I bought to make something simple but delicious. I made two plates of Pad Thai and Som Tam. For dessert, she had bought ice cream with chocolate, cream, peach, and slushie. For drinks there was water, wine and champagne.

I put all the food on the table and told Hilary to come over.

I HAD FORGOTTEN THE GULF GIFT !!!

Hilary was about to arrive, she said she was a few streets away.

When she arrived, she looked at me as if she had seen a ghost.

"Is everything okay?"
