Salazar Slytherin grabbed Ivan's shoulder, and even though there was thick clothing separating them, Ivan still felt cold, Salazar's hands were ice cold.
In a moment they were gone.
With a snap, Ivan felt a strong suction force, it was as if he was being pulled through a hole as small as a pea. He was stretched in every direction, his chest felt as if it weighed a thousand pounds.
His eyes were stretched to the back of his head, and his eardrums were pressed deep into his skull.
Ivan found himself spinning around, it was dark, he couldn't breathe, and it was as if every part of his body was being stretched to its limit. Just when he thought he was going to suffocate, they came to a room and he breathed fresh air.
This must have been the headmaster's office, the decorations were very elegant, thick curtains hung from two sets of silver armor, exquisite murals painted on the walls, the floor had a decorative pattern carved into it, in the center of the room were four tables.
"Salazar, good to see you, I thought you would be locked in the basement for a week so you could brew your new potion," said a young woman with short brown hair.
She seemed to be full of vigor, she was surrounded by papers and a shiny gold goblet in front of her, the glass contained a bluish black drink.
Salazar growled as he pushed Ivan forward, "I was, but this dirty blood showed up, Helga, keep an eye on him while I go find Godric and Rowena."
Salazar soon disappeared, leaving Ivan and Helga.
Ivan gave a formal salute as Helga looked at him.
Helga said with a smile, "Easy boy, Don't let him get to you, Salazar may look fierce on the outside, but he's a good hearted person, he's just bad at expressing himself."
She snapped her fingers and a house elf soon appeared in the room.
Helga ordered him quietly, then turned her head, looked at Ivan and said, "Toto, give this gentleman some of my homemade snacks, well, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Helga Hufflepuff, what's your name?"
"Hello, my name is Ivan Mason," Ivan said as he tasted the cake the house elf brought, he didn't know what it was, but it tasted sweet.
Helga said. "A muggle born wizard, that's a rarity. You know muggles have a deep prejudice against wizards, they seem more interested in tying us to a stake and burning us, it's been many years since I've seen a young muggle born wizard, Ivan, can you tell me who your teacher is?"
"Actually, I'm also a student at Hogwarts..." Ivan quickly summarized what had happened.
Helga had a surprised expression on her face as she took the time tour Ivan handed her and studied it for a moment before placing it on the table and saying, "So you came from Hogwarts a thousand years in the future? I'm no expert in temporal magic, this is more Rowena's field, but for me to be able to take you back to a period when you didn't exist, the power of this time-turner must be immense!"
You could tell that Hufflepuff was interested in the Hogwarts she came from.
She asked Ivan a few questions about her house and from the look on her face, she seemed to be very satisfied with how it worked.
"The other three are all the same, they ignore innate qualities, they don't nurture them so that young wizards can grow in the right way, which is very dangerous," Helga said.
"I think aptitude is the wisest choice!" said a hoarse, ethereal female voice.
The voice dropped and three figures appeared before Ivan.
Standing on the left was Slytherin and next to her was Rowena Ravenclaw, who had a slender figure, with long hair down to her waist and pale blue eyes full of wisdom, she wore a crown with a glittering gem, which made her look mysterious.
To the right was Godric Gryffindor, tall, handsome, his hair was flame red, with a thin scar over his left eye that made him look a little rough.
Rowena apparently heard what Helga said a moment ago, and continued in a husky voice, "You are too kind, we have to be cautious when selecting a young wizard to teach, we have to choose the student carefully."
He then noticed the time-turner on the table and, with an expression of interest on his face, looked down to study it.
However, the conversation continued.
"Look at what Hogwarts has fallen to after a millennium, they let dirty bloods into the school," Salazar said as he glared at Ivan.
Godric said, "Choose your words wisely, Salazar, this child is from my house. Face reality, many Muggle children have excellent magical talent and their heart is good. Conversely, those who inherit their pureblood status for a long time often become dark wizards, bully Muggles and kill Muggles for joy. If this situation continues, the wizarding world will struggle to survive."
Salazar slowly said, "I have told you countless times, Godric! I am writing a letter to the Ministry of Magic to establish a prison to imprison dark wizards! But we must maintain the purity of wizarding bloodlines, those Muggles are not to be trusted, they just want to burn us at the stake and yet they want to accept those people as students!"
Helga said, "That's because they don't have the knowledge that wizards have, so the wizarding world inspires fear in them. We need to guide young wizards who have magical gifts so we can give them the right ideals."
"That's a stupid idea, you want to help them destroy us," Salazar said in a cold voice.
"You and your stubborn prejudices, times are different and if you keep thinking like that, Hogwarts will sooner or later become a school to cultivate dark wizards. You don't want the future to be like that either, do you, Salazar?" Godric put his hand on his sword.
"As long as I am here, dark wizards will never enter Hogwarts, I will only choose the purest blooded wizards because they are the most trustworthy," Salazar said as he drew his wand, the temperature in the room dropped.
"Helga and Rowena have decided to enroll muggle born students this year, we have made a magical object that can identify all children who are eleven years old and have magical abilities," said Godric
Salazar looked surprised and said, "How dare you recruit Muggle-born students to the school, without my permission? This is my father's castle."
"This is also Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Salazar, take your stubbornness and prejudice and go back to your basement," Godric shouted loudly.
Then Godric drew his sword as he said, "Do you want to make it a duel between men to determine the future of Hogwarts?"
A silver wand appeared in Salazar's hand and he said, "That is my intention, let me see...."
Helga stopped the two before they could start fighting and said, "Enough, you two! Talking about these things in front of a guest, that's very impolite. Especially since our little guest came from the future, perhaps you should hear what he has to say about Hogwarts after a thousand years."
After Rowena finished speaking, the room quieted down, Godric and Salazar turned their heads and looked at Ivan.
Even Rowena, who had been staring at the time-turner, also raised her head and looked at him silently.
