Professor McGonagall said worriedly, "Albus, since the Dark Mark is here, could that person..." her lips were pursed and her expression was particularly serious.
"I don't think so, Minerva!" said Dumbledore calmly. "My sources show that he is still in the Albanian forest. There's been a lot of excitement and bustle lately, and a lot has been going on. I don't think he has the energy to think about Hogwarts at the moment, nor will he be hiding behind the scenes and plotting anything."
At Dumbledore's words, Snape's eyebrows twitched unnaturally.
Other than him, no one knew what Dumbledore meant by the hubbub in the Albanian forest.
Sirius hesitated for a moment and seemed to want to ask, but in the end said nothing. He lowered his head and looked sadly at Ivan in the hospital bed.
Voldemort did not return to Hogwarts, he had not regained his strength. The Dark Mark only showed that he had been there once.
But this did not make the locals happy. They were silent for a moment, and they all looked at Ivan, who was unconscious.
Harry thought of Voldemort in the Albanian forest, and remembered what Sirius had said about the Dark Mark on his return.
Thirteen years ago, it was the most horrible time in the wizarding world.
Voldemort and his followers sent the Dark Mark into the air when they killed.
In a way, this Mark represented Voldemort, it was death.
Now, the Dark Mark reappeared at Hogwarts. Ivan had carried the dark magic left by Voldemort, what would happen to him?!
Death, the word kept repeating in Harry's mind.
He felt so bad that he shook his head to shake the thought away.
"What happened to Ivan?" Hermione sobbed and rubbed her tears away.
"He's not dead yet!" said Snape maliciously. "He's lucky. He had the Philosopher's Stone in his hand. Its magic alleviated the power of the curse."
"What about the little black snake around his wrist?" asked Harry.
"I don't think your empty head can handle my detailed explanation of this curse magic. You just need to know that as long as Mr. Mason has this Philosopher's Stone with him, he can stop the power of the curse from spreading in him and keep his life."
Hearing this, everyone's nervous expression eases a little.
As long as Ivan had the Philosopher's Stone with him, nothing would happen to him.
"When will he wake up?" Hermione asked hurriedly.
Snape snorted coldly, apparently showing his disdain for answering such a silly question.
He looked again at the black snake on Ivan's wrist, and his eyes fell on the snake's head.
There was an awkward silence in the room. Hermione wasn't sure if she should ask, but she was afraid of upsetting Snape, who was watching Ivan's condition.
"Any moment now!" Dumbledore raised his head and said quietly, "Miss Granger, Mr. Mason is likely to wake up at any moment, and the magic in his body will return to calm."
His calm, light blue eyes slowly crossed everyone's faces, giving them great confidence, and finally fell upon the red Philosopher's Stone held tightly by Ivan's right hand.
Dumbledore seemed suddenly interested, pulled out his wand and tapped it.
"Very wonderful, very wonderful!" Dumbledore couldn't help but exclaim, his light blue eyes sparkling, "I have to say that this Philosopher's Stone, from the perspective of alchemy..."
"Sorry, Headmaster!" Snape suddenly interrupted him, and a cold smile reappeared at the corner of his mouth.
He looked mischievously at Sirius and said in a drawn-out voice, "I don't think this is the time to admire a stone. The Dark Mark has appeared in the school, a student has been subjected to a fatal curse. Someone must be responsible for this."
"Severus..." Dumbledore frowned.
"I don't think it's appropriate for someone to stay at the school as a teacher!" Snape glared at Sirius and said provocatively, "Without permission, you went into the Forbidden Forest with a bunch of idiots who had no fear of death and who can't even distinguish cursed objects of dark magic. I can't think of any reason for him to stay here."
"Shut up!" Sirius clenched his fist and immediately loosened it, "This is my fault. I just wish Ivan would wake up and I'm willing to accept any punishment."
"Great, but I don't think you have..." Snape stopped suddenly.
In the bed next to him, Ivan's head moved slightly, he was waking up.
A few seconds later, Ivan opened his eyes and the first thing he saw were Dumbledore's calm blue eyes.
His nerves finally relaxed completely. Behind Dumbledore, stood Sirius, Professor McGonagall, Harry, Ron and Hermione with loving faces.
Hermione's face was full of joy, but her nose and eyes were red. During the coma, the poor girl must have been crying a lot.
Ivan looked up and saw the snake sulking trying to shrink into the shadows, as if hoping not to be noticed.
Outside the room, Madame Pomfrey and Firenze, were there.
"Professor, there's a curse on this piece of Philosopher's Stone left by Gryffindor!" said Ivan. "It's Voldemort who left it, I..."
"We know that, Mr. Mason!" Dumbledore said calmly and gave Ivan a brief explanation of his current physical condition.
"As long as I keep this magic stone with me, I'll be fine?!"
Ivan looked at the Red Stone in his hand, and he could feel the powerful magic coming from it.
Then his eyes fell on the small snake on his wrist.
"I don't sense anything unusual, but this curse?" Ivan asked uncertainly, remembering Professor Trelawney's prediction.
This was the mark left by Voldemort. Perhaps he was the chosen one.
"The Philosopher's Stone, the Curse and the power of your body have reached a delicate balance," Dumbledore whispered. "Mr. Mason, before we find a way to decipher it, I hope you will not use your magic as much as you did before. It is very dangerous to break this balance rashly."
"What should Ivan do?" Sirius shouted, "We can't expect him to live with Voldemort's curse all the time and use magic carefully."
"Whose responsibility do you think it is?" Snape's voice, like that of a venomous snake, continued to sting Sirius, "Think about how we can explain it to Mr. Mason's Muggle parents. They believe in Hogwarts. They sent their son to a school they don't know at all. But what has happened now? Because of your recklessness and stupidity, we destroyed the future of a very promising young wizard."
Sirius was silent. It was odd that he didn't respond to Snape.
