Chapter 371: Methods of Dissipation and New Trip

"Oh no.... The future star of the wizarding world is falling!" Snape looked mischievously at Ivan. "As long as this curse exists, even if Mr. Know-all masters more magic in the future, he won't use it. It can only show the level that a young wizard should have. It's a really sad thing."

Ivan heard no sorrow from Snape's words. On the contrary, they were oozing with irony. He was only attacking him and Sirius.

From having the magical power of a first-rate adult wizard to falling to the level of the average twelve or thirteen year old wizard, the gap was not small; it was hard for ordinary people to accept.

However, Ivan didn't feel too bad. His powerful magic was somewhat disconcerting. It was Slytherin's locket that absorbed the thousand-year accumulation from the subway ruins and infused it into his body. He had not yet had time to adapt.

The sudden increase in power caused a weak base and he was prone to problems.

He was glad he had temporarily suppressed his magic, giving him more opportunity to hone his skills instead of relying on brute force to solve all problems.

Perhaps this was the main reason Gryffindor knew about Voldemort's Curse on the Philosopher's Stone and insisted he touch it.

"Of course, having the magical power of a student your age is not your fault!" Snape continued. "But I have to remind you that you had better pray that you never appear in front of that man. Otherwise, if he wanted to, he could probably unleash the Curse and take your life at any moment. Well, even though he could do it with any other magic."

Ivan frowned. It wasn't too good to be incapacitated in front of Voldemort.

In the next semester, Voldemort and his followers should use the Goblet of Fire to engage in an amazing conspiracy and eventually bring the Dark Lord back physically.

Although Peter Pettigrew had been detained in Azkaban, Ivan didn't think Voldemort would do nothing, he would definitely try to take over Harry.

The only strange thing is that Voldemort had this opportunity in Harry's first year.

Why didn't he do it then? was it better to restore power with the help of the Philosopher's Stone than that magic?

Ivan shook his head and stopped thinking about it. He only knew that a head-on confrontation was essential after Voldemort's return. He couldn't stay away from him.

"What can we do to dispel this Curse?" Sirius clenched his fist, "Whatever it takes, I'm willing to help Ivan at any cost."

"This is the guilt you must bear!" Snape said viciously, "You don't seem to believe me. You don't believe what I'm talking about a solution..."

"Severus!"Dumbledore warned him again, raising his tone.

Snape's hatred, which had just appeared on his face, suddenly turned into a sneer and hung on his lips. "To unlock this curse, we must know what magic this is. If you are willing to ask the Dark Lord himself, perhaps he will be merciful enough to tell you."

"What else? "Dumbledore asked calmly.

"Also, I noticed that this Philosopher's Stone was broken, and Mr. Mason is lucky. The magic of this Stone has a strong effect on the curse." Snape said reluctantly: "Finding the other half of the Philosopher's Stone may work."

"This way, we have two solutions!" Dumbledore nodded and said with satisfaction, "I have clues to both approaches."

Hearing what he said, everyone looked at Dumbledore in amazement.

Even Snape looked surprised and his eyes narrowed tightly.

Either of the two solutions he just mentioned were very difficult, and seemed almost impossible for ordinary people to achieve, but Dumbledore actually said he had clues.

When asking Voldemort which Curse he had left behind, they didn't even think about it.

As for finding the other half of the Philosopher's Stone, it wasn't so easy. After the Centaur Civil War eight hundred years ago, no one knew where the fallen Centaurs ran with the Philosopher's Stone fragment.

Time had passed in such numbers that the clan of the Fallen Centaurs could have been extinct long ago. After all, there was nowhere for the evil god to actually appear.

If they were not extinct, the current situation could be worse.

They could be hiding in a dark corner, secretly gathering strength and planning to conjure the evil god again.

After Dumbledore said he had clues, everyone in the room was surprised. No one doubted Dumbledore's power and knowledge. Everyone had grown accustomed to it.

"Professor, what do we do?" asked Ivan hurriedly.

Sirius, Harry, Ron and Hermione also asked Dumbledore, wondering what the clues were that he had just said.

"Don't worry, I'll explain them one by one!" Dumbledore gestured for everyone to be quiet. "First of all, I'm going to the Ministry of Magic. To get there, there must be a decree from the Minister of Magic. And I have to explain to Fudge what happened tonight. The appearance of the Dark Mark is no joke, even if it is not noticed by many people."

Ivan was stunned; 'Go to the Ministry of Magic and get Fudge's permission?!

He didn't know what Dumbledore meant by the place needing the Minister of Magic's permission to enter it, and where it was.

He looked into Dumbledore's eyes, his head spinning rapidly, and then thought of something.

Ivan remembered a few months ago, when he had spoken to the Headmaster separately about his experience of catching Peter Pettigrew. In Professor Lupin's office, Peter had proposed giving him Voldemort's solution to the curse left in the Centaur colony, hoping Ivan would let him go. He remembered that Pettigrew had said that, without that, he would never get the Philosopher's Stone left behind by Gryffindor.

Ivan didn't care at the time, and now it seemed that he really did need it.

This was part of the clue. Since Peter Pettigrew knew how to break the curse, he could infer from it what the curse was.

So it seemed necessary to ask Peter Pettigrew.

And this guy was currently in Azkaban Wizarding Prison, guarded by countless Dementors, and to get there he needed Fudge's permission.

Although there was no communication, Dumbledore seemed to know what Ivan was thinking. He nodded and confirmed that Ivan was right.

"Although this curse doesn't have much impact on Mr. Mason at the moment, I think the sooner we dispel it, the better." Dumbledore said, "I'm going to take him to look for these two clues. It wouldn't be surprising if we had to be gone for a long time."
