Chapter 448: Ginny's Expectations

Hearing this request, Hermione had no idea what to do.

With Ivan in her arms, so close to her; her head had already stopped working.

Hermione didn't know how to respond to Ginny - give Ivan to her, to hug him?

If Ginny knew she wasn't hugging Crookshanks, but Ivan, she would die of embarrassment!

Especially considering the current situation, because they were about to sleep, and they hadn't been wearing much.

Her summer pajamas were very thin and somewhat see-through.

That's how she would come in contact with Ivan, with a boy.

In the brief silence, the strange atmosphere grew more and more intense.

"Hermione?!" Ginny said strangely, sensing that Hermione wasn't quite right tonight. She'd been like this ever since she'd come back, as if something had happened.

In fact, a lot had happened.

But Ginny would never have thought, even in her dreams, that Ivan would turn into a black cat in her room.

Besides, he had just been in bed with Hermione, and now she was holding him tightly in her arms.

Feeling his body stiffen, Ivan was ready to leave. He couldn't stay here.

The atmosphere was too strange, and there was an unexplainable feeling in his body.

He was feeling a strange physical reaction. If he and Hermione were here alone....

He blinked and couldn't stand it anymore - if Ginny found out, it would be terrible!

Just as Ivan was ready to act, he heard Ginny say, "I see, is that something Ivan said to you before he went to bed?"

"What?" hearing Ginny's words, Hermione was a little surprised and knew that Ginny had misunderstood her.

But that was just in the nick of time, and she decided to move on from this mistake.

Either way, it was much easier than explaining to Ginny that the cat in her arms was not Crookshanks.

"Yes!" Hermione said vaguely, nodding her head.

"Haha, Ivan confessed to you?!" Ginny's mouth flashed a smile. "What did he say?"

Ivan, who was supposed to be leaving, suddenly stopped and was ready to listen. This topic was a good one.

He pricked up his ears and waited for Ginny's next words.

Ginny had always been the bolder of the two, at least when Harry wasn't around.

Maybe she would get Hermione to say something that interested her.

"Nothing! We're just talking about the Quidditch World Cup." Hermione said quickly.

"Really?!" Ginny elongated her voice, expressing doubt.

With her knowledge of Hermione, if Ivan hadn't said 'more', she wouldn't have been like this.

Abnormal, too abnormal, Hermione was now anxious to cover it up.

"By the way, Hermione, have you two done that sort of thing?" Ginny continued, her smile becoming more and more obvious.

"What kind of thing?" Hermione had a bad feeling.

"Kissing; I heard Angelina say she did it with Fred last term." Ginny said, "Percy and Penelope have done it too. Remember the year of the Basilisk and the Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin? That year, they were secretly hanging out all over the castle, and I saw them once, in an empty classroom, they..."

Hearing Ginny's words, Hermione pressed hard and unconsciously held Ivan tighter.

She thought of last Christmas in Diagon Alley, kissing Ivan herself. It felt like it was happening right now with that suffocatingly sweet feeling.

But because she was scared, she ran early, and now she was thinking about it.

Because of Hermione's sudden hug, Ivan was quick to struggle and pulled his head out of Hermione's arms.

It was now in the shape of a black cat with its head up and its little paws pushing forward.

"Ah!" Hermione let out a low cry at Ivan's actions.

"What's wrong?" Ginny asked hurriedly, blinking her eyes.

"No, it's fine. Crookshanks is moving in my arms!" Hermione said.

She looked at Ivan and told him to calm down.

In fact, Ivan had never seen Hermione from this perspective before.

From below, looking at Hermione's chin and side face, Ivan felt that she was extraordinarily charming and particularly attractive.

As for Hermione's menacing glare, Ivan ignored it outright.

"You must have done it with Ivan!" Ginny turned around and seemed to forget to hug Crookshanks. She looked up at the ceiling and held out her small hands. "I want to try too, what kind of feeling is that!"

"No, nothing happened between us?!" Hermione said quickly.

She felt like she couldn't keep up with Ginny's thoughts anymore. She pushed Ivan away while Ginny wasn't looking at her.

The door was open, and Ivan just had to take the opportunity to run out and not worry about being discovered by Ginny anymore.

But Ivan didn't want to leave at that moment, because the conversation between the girls was unexpectedly interesting.

He wanted to see Hermione's next reaction; it was a rare opportunity!

Ivan pretended not to understand Hermione immediately, and clung tightly to his pajamas.

Like a real cat, Hermione couldn't knock him down, no matter how hard she tried.

"What are you doing? get out of here!" Hermione leaned over and whispered through gritted teeth.

Because his voice was too low, Ivan didn't hear what she said.

He only felt Hermione's breath in his ear, which was warm and delicate.

At this breath, the air also became strange.

As it passed by his ear, Ivan felt that he had suddenly lost his strength and gently leaned back against her.

"It's a pity you two haven't kissed, I thought you've been together for a while already!" Ginny said, "I heard the older girls say you should go out on a date after third grade. I don't know if Harry will go out or not."

Her expectations were doomed to fail and Hogwarts would be hosting the Triwizard Tournament this year.

At Christmas, there would be a big ball at the castle, and everyone needed a date.

Harry, probably, wanted to ask Ravenclaw's Cho Chang.

Compared to Ginny, who was still a girl, the fifth year Cho was more attractive, not to mention beautiful.

"Hermione, you have to hurry!" Ginny continued. "You know, there are a lot of girls at school who have crushes on Ivan, like Cho Chang from Ravenclaw, she..."

"If Ivan likes Cho, I can't stop him from making that decision." Hermione said flatly.

However, the hidden meaning of the words made the hair all over Ivan's body stand up immediately.

The warmth of his breath disappeared in the blink of an eye, and under Hermione's gaze, Ivan suddenly felt a little cold.

As the subject had transferred to himself, he was obviously fanning the flames by continuing to linger.

The next second, Ivan mimicked Crookshanks' voice and meowed.

He jumped out of Hermione's arms and rushed into the dark hallway.

Behind him, Hermione looked at the missing Ivan, red in the face to the extreme, not knowing what to think.
