Chapter 474: The Domestic Elf

On the right side of the rostrum, almost at everyone's eye level, was a gigantic blackboard.

The golden writing kept running down it as if the hand of an invisible giant was scribbling on the blackboard and then back to erase it.

It was a flashing announcement to the audience.

"The Bluebottle: A broom for the whole family! Safe, reliable and with a built-in anti-theft buzzer."

"Mrs. Skower's all-purpose magic mess remover: no pain, no stain!" Gladrags Wizardwear - London, Paris, Hogsmeade....

"Look, it's the Hogwarts logo!" Harry suddenly shouted.

After Gladrags Wizardwear's announcement, four animals appeared on the huge board: the golden lion with a red background, the coppery eagle with a blue background, the black badger with a yellow background, and the silver snake with a green background.

They moved from all sides toward the center and finally converged to form a complete shield.

The shield was marked on the paper, and the letters underneath "Hogwarts Magic" flashed.

It was like a ribbon around the shield.

"God, what did I just see? was that actually an advertisement for Hogwarts Magic?"

Everyone turned to look at Ivan, and their excited little faces were full of disbelief.

They hadn't expected to see a 'Hogwarts Magic' advertisement at the site of World Cup matches of this level.

This was completely world class and beyond everyone's imagination.

The advertising was very effective, and within seconds, all the wizards present who had never heard of the paper were aware of it.

This meant that Hogwarts Magic would no longer be limited to Hogwarts and the British wizarding world. The newspaper had gone global just like that!

Others who knew the process of creating the paper and the speed of its growth would exclaim that it was a business miracle.

"Ivan, how did you think of advertising in the World Cup?" Fred said.

"This idea is absolutely fantastic!" George continued.

"The picture just now is the most exciting and shocking thing I've ever seen!" Harry also said excitedly.

"Promoting in the World Cup, how many gold galleons did it cost?" asked Ron.

"You should ask Hermione about these things. She and Professor Lupin agreed to this publicity." Ivan smiled and said, "I just wrote to Professor Dumbledore for advice and he has allowed us to use the Hogwarts logo. "

All eyes turned to Hermione, who looked shy but very proud.

A few months ago, the Ministry of Magic began looking for advertising sponsors for the World Cup finals.

Ivan, Hermione and Professor Lupin saw this as an excellent promotional opportunity, especially during the period of rapid newspaper expansion.

This was conducive to building their brand and public awareness.

Despite its high cost, this advertising was to achieve unprecedented success.

After the appearance of the Hogwarts School logo, the entire stadium immediately unleashed a wave of carnival storms and entered the sea of joy.

All Hogwarts students and graduates shouted with enthusiasm, as if they were at home, until the announcement disappeared.

Wizards from other countries were discussing and asking questions about Hogwarts, the old School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Ivan's paper.

A few minutes later, they averted their eyes from the advertisement.

So far, there were no other people in the stands but them. They were the first to arrive, except for a small creature sitting second from the last seat at the end of the row behind them.

The creature, whose legs were so short that they stuck out in front of her in the chair, wore a tea towel draped like a toga, and had her face hidden in her hands.

This was a house elf.

"How can there be a house elf here?" Ron said curiously.

Ivan's gaze was also drawn to the back of the stand, and he noticed it as he entered.

No wonder Batty Crouch Jr. sat next to the house elf.

He was controlled by magic, and if Ivan got close enough to remove his invisibility cloak, he could trap him.

But as things stood, this had no benefit for him, nor did it fulfill Ivan and Dumbledore's plans.

Capturing Bartemius Crouch Jr. before his time would have little effect, besides destroying his father, Barty Crouch.

With the help of the vampires, Voldemort's resurrection was almost inevitable.

Even without Barty Crouch Jr.'s help... they would plan new countermeasures, which would be even more problematic.

Instead, it was better to let events unfold in the direction Ivan knew, so that they could be easily controlled.

Voldemort must be allowed to use Harry's blood to resurrect, which was the only known way to defeat him completely.

Under such consideration, Ivan did not move easily, but only looked at the house elf and the empty seat beside her.

Just as everyone turned their attention to Winky, the little creature looked up.

She stretched out her fingers, revealing a pair of huge brown eyes and a nose the exact size and shape of a large tomato.

"Sorry, Winky just heard someone call Mr. Ivan Mason's name." Squeaked the elf. Her tone rang out in a small, shaky squeak of a voice.

Her eyes wandered over them and finally fell on Ivan with precision.

"Yes, you must be Mr. Ivan Mason. Winky knows you and has seen your pictures in the paper!" squeaked the elf. She shielded her face with her hands, as if blinded by the light, even though the Top Box was not illuminated.

Seeing Ivan nod, she shouted excitedly.

"First of all, sir, my name is Winky!" She said excitedly, looking astonished. "Dobby talks about you all the time. He talked about your name all day. He gave you a job. He gave you a new life."

"You know Dobby?" Harry said in surprise.

Hearing the question, Winky's eyes flicked to Harry.

His dark brown eyes widened to the size of side plates as they rested on Harry's scar.

"God, you must be Harry Potter!"

Everyone looked at the tame elf with interest, but it was unexpected that she knew everyone.

"Winky heard Dobby say that you and Mr. Mason freed Dobby, and that you also defeated that man." Winky lowered her hands a little, "Mr. Harry is as big as Mr. Mason, but no offense, I'm not sure he did Dobby a favor. "

"Why?" Harry asked in surprise.

"Freedom goes to Dobby's head, thinking of pleasure, sir, it's an unrealistic idea!" Winky said, she lowered her hands again. "It's a shame for a house elf. He even wants to get paid. Fortunately, Mr. Mason took him in. Otherwise, Winky doesn't know what he would have become. Winky once told him that if he started making noise, he'd soon be arrested by the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, just like a common elf."
