9 - "Unveiling The Unknown: A Vampiric Dilemma"

Swayam, recognizing his own fault, understood that despite being irritated by her silly jokes, he shouldn't have mocked her. With this realization, he chose to apologize and made his way to her room.

Knocking on the door, Swayam began, "I'm truly sorry for mocking you earlier. I couldn't control myself because I was fed up with your constant 'Vampire' jokes. And when you mentioned that we're married now, I lost my temper and said some awful things. I'm deeply ashamed of my behavior, so please forgive me for my rudeness."

From inside the room, Vale responded, "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it's a fact that we are indeed married now, and it's also true that we are 'Vampires,' including you."

Swayam, bewildered, replied, "Wait, what do you mean by me being a 'Vampire'? I am not a Vampire. My name is Swayam Shekhawat, and I am a human being. I live in Madhya Pradesh, India, and while attempting to time travel, I accidentally ended up here."

However, one thing puzzled him: how were they able to understand each other? The primary language spoken in Transylvania is Romanian, and since he hadn't learned that language yet, it left him wondering how they could converse so easily.

Vale responded firmly, "I don't understand what you're talking about, but one thing is certain: humans went extinct centuries ago. There's no possibility of you being a human."

Swayam countered, "I don't know what you believe, but I am a human being, and there's a living example of that right in front of you."

Swayam felt thoroughly bewildered by her unusual behavior. However, as he tried to gather his thoughts, the only plausible explanation that came to mind was that the Time Machine had functioned, but not as a 'Time Traveling Device.' Instead, it had transported him to a different dimension, a world where 'Vampires' existed. This would explain why he was now married to 'Valentine Pire,' governed by the laws of this new reality.

With lingering doubts about his situation, Swayam decided to test his theory. To do so, he deliberately provoked Vale by making a rather audacious statement.

Swayam taunted, "I believe we're in a mental hospital, and you're a mental patient."

Vale retorted, "I don't know what 'hospital' means, but I do understand 'mental,' and you're calling your wife a 'mental patient.' Do you not think you're being rather unkind?"

Swayam responded, "Well, that's what anyone would think when you can't provide any proof and keep insisting that 'We are Vampires,' 'We are Vampires.'"

Vale declared, "So you want proof? Wait there, I'll give you proof."

Emerging from her room, Vale slit her wrist as proof of her claim to be a 'Vampire.' However, as Swayam witnessed this, doubt crept into his mind. What if she wasn't really a 'Vampire'? What if his theory was entirely wrong? Panic set in as he considered these possibilities, and he attempted to stop her from hurting herself, but it was too late, as she had already slit her wrist.

Upon seeing the blood flowing from her hand, Swayam couldn't stand idly by. He quickly retrieved his handkerchief, intending to bandage her hand. However, Vale resisted his efforts, and after a few moments, she revealed the wound from which the blood had flowed.

Swayam was utterly stunned to witness the cut healing naturally, as if there had never been a wound in the first place. Overwhelmed by this surreal sight, he lost consciousness.

Once Swayam had lost consciousness, Vale carefully carried him to her bedroom and gently placed him on the bed. Satisfied that he was sleeping soundly, she descended to the kitchen and prepared dinner for both of them. After finishing her meal, she set aside a portion for Swayam, then returned to the bedroom where he lay and nestled beside him, drifting into slumber herself.

Swayam awoke well past noon, discovering himself in an unusual scenario. He found himself lying beside the girl on a peculiar-looking bed, and a sense of unease washed over him. Sleeping beside a 'Vampire,' he feared for his safety, hesitating to wake her. Instead, he lay there in silence, his mind racing as he contemplated his peculiar circumstances.

Swayam's mind raced as he revisited the unusual sequence of events:

He had stumbled upon a secret door within his father's laboratory, where he found an envelope bearing his own signature.

Inside that envelope were blueprints for a Time Machine, based on his father's inventions.

With the blueprints as his guide, he had constructed the Time Machine.

However, when he attempted to use it for time travel, the machine malfunctioned, spiraling out of control and inadvertently transporting him to this alternate dimension, filled with vampires.

In the present, Swayam found himself in a dire predicament. His Time Machine had been confiscated by 'King Gabriel,' the ruler of the vampires in this dimension. Moreover, he was married to one of these vampires, who adamantly claimed that he too was a 'Vampire.' The complex web of events had led him into a surreal and challenging situation, far beyond anything he had ever imagined.

With uncertainty looming in his mind, Swayam pondered his next course of action. However, hunger soon overtook his thoughts, and he decided to awaken Vale and request some food.

Swayam called out, "Vale, wake up and please give me something to eat."

Still harboring anger, Vale responded sharply, "Your dinner is in the kitchen. Go serve yourself and be grateful that I'm providing you with food. Don't disturb me any further; I'm very sleepy."

Taking her directions to heart, Swayam made his way downstairs to the kitchen. However, upon seeing what was set before him for dinner, he was overcome with revulsion, causing his mind to go blank. Overwhelmed, he decided to leave the house to get some fresh air.

Swayam couldn't help but express his shock and disbelief as he left the house. "What kind of person serves a newborn piglet for dinner, and on top of that, it's not even cooked? Even though I know she's a vampire, that's just too much for me to handle. What a horrifying sight that was."

Swayam decided to put aside the unsettling dinner experience and test the claim that he might be a vampire. He ventured out into the sunlight, hoping that if he were indeed a vampire, the sun's rays would have some adverse effect on him.

He stood under the sunlight for nearly 10 minutes, but to his disappointment, he felt no adverse effects. This lack of reaction left him somewhat disheartened, as it contradicted the notion that he might be a vampire as well.
