Chapter 6:

Chapter 6:

"Open up the space bridge." Bingling commanded. At those words power radiated from the machines all around them. Hissing and pulsating with powering. The room radiating with it as it surges through the enclosed space. The pressure was eminence. It took a great deal of effort just to resist the force coming from the gate. And this was an avatar body with far greater strength and durability than his original. She couldn't have imagined what effects would occur. Should her original body be exposed to the surge long term.

'States Bob?' Bingling called out. Despite the maelstrom her question was answered.

[Energy fluxcation is constate and stabilizing young miss.] Bob her faithful butler replied through the comm-net.

[Increasing power output to ninety percent young miss prepare for the gateway.]

The energy rippled more frantically like raging storm, building upon the horizon. The usual sight of what Bingling had been accustomed to many times. However. The fluxiation was different this time. More sporadic, less focused.

"Wait somethings not right. Bob?"

"Stay behind me mistress."

Bai Ling already aware of the change immediately place herself in front of her charge.

[This may get out of hand mistress, I advised for you to vacant the area now.]

Mo Ye said her voice devoid of her usual childish fever. For the first time in ages. Bingling could hear the slight sense of urgency from his A.I companion.

"What is happening?" Bingling demanded her voice stern fighting against Bai Ling grip. As the other woman tried in vain to usher her towards the direction of the exit.

[Energy flux is rapidly increasing, it's not slowly down! Its accelerating too fast, it's-it's getting out of hand! Young miss you must evacuate immediately!] Bob's panicked voice boomed through the line.

"Don't worry about me just fix it! Shut down the reactor, cut off all power circuits and restart it!" Bingling now had to scream out her command admis the raging turbulence. All the while the miniature storm in front of her, grew and expanded. Its dimensions warping, reality itself seemed to cave in on itself. Sucking away all within the realm. Machinery that came loose, the rows of convicts whom all stood stock still, during the whole ordeal. Mind shackled and compiled to inaction. Many of them were pulled into the raging energy currents. Though no motions or screams indicated anything, other than their eyes, the hints of dread and despair running rampant within as they were consumed. Unable to fight against the shackles of their minds and bodies.

[The controls aren't responding! It's not accepting the access code!] Bob exclaimed panic clearly present in his voice now.

"Override the system and input my command code!"

Bingling yelled into the comms net, all the while the surge of energy boomed over the tight space. Sparks and cable flew about in the room. Yet still the energy surge intensified, with no indication of the machine ceasing its function.

"Mistress we need to go~!" Bai Ling pulled at Bingling; however, it was too late. Then with a sudden burst of light coming from the gate. Engulfing everything with a screen of pure ether light. The brightness of it was overwhelming, soon all senses were becoming numb to Bingling.

[Young miss~!] Bob's voice cried out through the maelstrom before all senses ceased once again. For a long time, there was darkness. Bingling didn't even realized she had been out cold. Not until the surge of senses of real space hit her once again. Her head ached, she felt sleepy, nauseous and motion sick all at once as if she just had the worst hang over of her life.

Mistr-mistres-mistress~, mistress~! A voice first inaudible, but slowly painfully slowly, the voice became more audible. Till she finally could hear the words being spoken. However now it was her vision. Her eyes were blurred, dazed, unfocused. She could feel the sensation of her body being moved. Even the senses of her body were denied to her. She couldn't move her limbs, not properly to be specific. Her limbs felt disconnected from her body, heavy like () iron her own body was rebelling against her. That too however was fading, as sensations and motions flushed back through her. She could gradually feel her limbs reawakening. Heeding to her will.

Albeit still a slow progress. Bingling was still grateful that she could move again.

'I had thought I made these bodies to be sturdier. I'm going to have to make some adjustments.'

"Mistress, can you hear me!"

The cries coming from Bai Ling, whose face now filled her vision. Coming to the realization that it was she who had been calling to her.

"Mistress, can you hear me, look at me can you see how many fingers I'm holding."

Bingling frustratingly pushed away Bai Ling digits away as she struggled. Her body is still not in tune with her body. She struggled just to heft her upper body. Seeing this Bai Ling didn't hesitate, already assisting her master.

"I'm fine Bai Ling, what about you?" Bingling gurgled out, her words almost incomprehensible, as if she were in a drunken stupor.

"I still live." Bai Ling said bluntly and to the point as always.

"What's the damage? Can we get back on track for the opening?"

"Mistress~." Bai Ling started but instead of her usual stoic tone, full of confidence and surety. Now seemed clouded and uncertain. Something Bingling never heard from Bai Ling.

"What is -." She didn't finish her sentence as Bingling felt something. As she shifted her body weight her palm was pressed against something. It was soft, that didn't make sense to her mind. As the ()steel floor panel wasn't of the texture she was touching. Turning her head to visionally inspect what her digits encountered. She smelled it before she had even gazed upon it. The fresh scent of vegetation.

"What is this?" Bingling asked rhetorically. She already knew the answer. She wasn't born just yesterday; she knew what grass was. What flora was. However, the vegetation and flora were wrong, all of it. Bingling has brought all sorts of fauna throughout the territories of the Empire. And integrated them within the ecosystem of Titan. The task itself was simply enough, being that Titan was preserved as a game planet after the great change.

From the high quality of air, Bingling knew it wasn't the altered tasteless recycled air, of any space station or spacecraft. It was true genuine air of an untainted world. The name of the place came to her. Titan, she was on the moon of Titan, that was the only explanation she could logically conceive. That was the only plausible conclusion.

However, the scenery was wrong. Everything was wrong. None of the scenery before her matched what the surface of Titan should have been. Quickly turning her sights skyward, to gaze upon the constellations that she was so familiar with. That, however, dashed any hope of recognition. For the sky too was alien to her eyes. The heavens above the sky were foreign, even the astral bodies orbiting the planet they're currently on, do not match. It was truly different, everything was alien. The astral body of Saturn was nowhere in sight. Several other astral forms littered the sky,

The aurora in the sky was beautiful. Despite the bright colored blue sky signifying morning daylight time frame. Yet still the ethereal light danced and littered the sky. Like an ocean made of light particles in the sky. The aurora she was familiar with had always been beautiful. The one before her was of a different class. She didn't even have a word to properly describe it. Such was the magnificence she was gazing upon. It was as if those she had seen before were but infants. Still developing into the truest beauty of their splendor.

The other main aspect that defined Titan would have been the sight of Saturn and the astral ring that encircled them. That too should have been visible in the sky. Which is one of the reasons Bingling set up her company FrontierForge, and her base of operations, the Heaven's Avil orbital station on the moon of Titan. That being also the asteroid belt was discovered to be an untapped treasure trove of wealth, even though asteroid mining boom had begun centuries ago. Having been ignored for centuries due to the more valuable resources found in the other systems and planets. Even during the early stages of human innovation into space. The nature and beauty of Sol was almost untouched. Enhanced artificially by The Traveler not just of the surface levels. But on the molecule level, changing the very foundation of the astral bodies. such as turning the originally desolate moon, Luna. Into a lush, bountiful astral body, full of untapped resources. As such other necessities needed thankfully were all handed locally. With Titan itself to thank for.

It was such an untouched troupe of treasure laid bare for the taking, the vast undertaking of setting up his company. Was but a smooth breeze relying on the resources of the ring itself. However, that was all irrelevant at the moment. For there were more pressing matters to attend to. Couldn't linger on such nonsensical thoughts like this.

"What is this? Where are we?" Bingling asked out loud to no one in particular.

"I-I do not know mistress. We're not on Titan's surface nor Jupiter's surface. That much is for certain."

"Find out then! Where has the space bridge beamed us to! We couldn't simply have portal away to some out of the system planet. or something of that nature."

"Mistress I have tried, multiple times, all systems are down. I cannot connect to Heaven's Avil either.

"Mo Ye." Bingling called out. Yet no response came. That was odd. "Mo Ye!"

She yelled out into the air. Still nothing. Mo Ye still didn't respond, now that was worrying. Usually, she would have heard Mo Ye's happy chirping in mere nano seconds. Even thought seconds since she was connected to her neural pulse. There was never a second, she wouldn't have heard from her. Never, they were near inseparable.

"She isn't here mistress. I haven't been able to contact anyone, we're alone." Before Bai Ling could say another word, Bingling silenced her with a gesture. Her mind processing the information that she received. Only then did the realization truly set in. That they were truly within a foreign environment.

Seeing the unfamiliar landscape all around her, as well as the loss of communication to

Only one question popped into her mind repeatedly.

[Where is this? We're definitely not anywhere in the sol system, that much is for certain.] This was no time however to linger on such pessimistic thoughts. Bingling casted aside those unnecessary thoughts refocusing her mind at the task at hand.

"Send out a signal, I don't care what and I don't care how. Just find out where we are. And to send out a SOS signal, surly someone might receive our call for aid."

"I cannot send out a powerful enough pulse to broadcast our location for anyone in range to find us. As for our surroundings, I've already sent out the thralls to scout and survey the landscape. I'm still compiling the information that their transmitting back to me."

Bingling blinked at that. The prisoners, she had forgotten about them! She had been so wrapped up in the moment, that she had completely forgotten about those low lives. It had slipped her mind, the possibly of these assets having been transferred along with them. Looking around the plains before her. In the distance she could make out the tiny figures off in the distance. Scattered about 360% all around the duo.

"How many of them were lost? During the whole rift?" Bingling asked. Not out of concern of course. She couldn't spare another brain cell thinking about the fate of the criminals. This was merely just an assessment of her option and assets.

"I've lost the bio signals of nearly a hundred of the original totals that I was able to detect, just now I've lost about a 30 more in the surrounding.

"Just give me the total count of the remainder." Bingling waved her hand in a clear indication of disinterest in anything than the answer to her question.

"We have a total of 346 units left. Not including the thirty that I just lost in the past hour."

[That is a third of what we had. Better than losing more than half I suppose. At least these worthless dregs of society will be useful for something.]

Bingling thought to herself.

"So did you find anything?" Bingling questioned.

The slaves were mind controlled their neuro implants linked to a centralized nerve pulse link. With Bai Ling being the center point. Thus, allowing her to see what they see, hear what they can, smell through their noses. All senses linked to them, and they to her. However, unlike Bai Ling, their synced senses paved through one way. She was the master; they were but extensions of her will.

"The range and lack of numbers makes it unreliable, along with the fact of missing orbitals the data is just 2 dimension not accurate."

"That's more than enough for now. Transmit them."

Bai Ling nodded at her command. Then with the slightest ting of pain through the back of Bingling's mind. Like a needle shot, but forcefully flooding an influx of sensory sensations. The feeling would have overwhelmed her, as a surge of information shot through her like an opened dam as all sorts of data, if not for dapifers. Systems put into place to control the incoming surge. Bingling's mind drank in the information like a sponge. Picking at them her enhanced mind processing just what she was being fed.

"Well that certainly is interesting at least." Bingling said, opening her eyes. Before continuing with her words. "Gather them back up I have something to say to the lot."
