YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT

Seeing the guests were about to take the sandwich she asked, "Sir, would you like another?"

Seizing the opportunity he spoke from his heart, "No, thanks and Miss John let Miss Albert concentrate on her duties and you yours."

Lystra didn't notice the disgusting look on his face, all that was on her mind was Boss would eventually see her worth. "Sir, it's not a problem?"

Realizing she didn't get the gist of what he wanted to say, Brent stressed making it more clearly so she could understand, "I know and thank you very much for your effort, but I pay Miss Albert to fix my meals, kindly concentrate on your work and let her do hers."

When the door closes, Rosanna dumps the sandwich in the bin, "You could have shared your sandwich with me, it smells good and it even makes me feel hungry?"

With her complaining Brent ignored her, he also wanted to get rid of her presence out of his office. He turned his attention to Rosanna, "Now let me hear what you wanted to speak to me about, as you know I am busy, so I will just be able to spare you a few minutes."

Observing the way he was looking at her, she smiled and said, "I wanted to sit in on a board meeting?"

Glaring at her with cold eyes he decided to nip the problem in the bud immediately, "Sorry, but only employees, shareholders and my parents sit in on board meetings."

Rosanna was determined to get her way, "Brent, soon we will get married, so why wait until then, the staff need to get acquainted with me?"

Brent stood up from his chair and then walked to where Rosanna was sitting on the sofa. Hqser long white legs were exposed from the knees. Looking at her smile but her face could never compare to Jessy's.

Her make-up was caked to her face, bringing out her beautiful facial structure but in comparison, she cannot hold a candle to my wife.

Delaying the process Brent said calmly not to make her anxious or angry, "Maybe, and when that happens, you can sit in on every meeting, but until then I am afraid you will have to wait."

At that moment Jessy knocked and then entered, "Sir I am sorry, but I get this snack for your guest."

Resting the tray on his desk, Brent immediately got a craving for something sweet, "Miss Albert is there more of those doughnuts?"

"Yes Sir!" Jessy responds with respect, and Rosanna notices how civil she behaves.

She then focused her attention on Brent, observing a glow when he spoke to her, "Can you bring one and a cup of coffee for me please?"

Jessy nodded, saying, "Yes Sir!" and then hurried out of the office.

Rosanna took the doughnut and bit into it, hearing her mumble, "This is good?"

Brent couldn't help feeling disgusted by just looking at her, and the way she gobbled down the doughnut, 'Oh my God, did mom even consider and make a background check of how despicable this woman behaves in public.'

"Rosanna, you eat as though you haven't eaten in days."

Without shame and empathy, she said, "I am sorry and it seems embarrassing in front of you, but as I said earlier, I left home in a hurry and missed my breakfast."

Angry with her for the pretext that she wasn't hungry. "So why did you lie about not being hungry Rosanna?"

Ignoring him Rosanna said, "Brent,q you have to believe me, I couldn't help it, but the aroma from your sandwich made me hungry. Also, I was thinking about joining you at the board meeting, so I ignored the thought of breakfast at home. But never mind this doughnut tasted really good and has opened up my appetite. Brent, seeing that I cannot attend the meeting with you, how about we have an early lunch after your meeting?"

Dissuading her question Brent's mind swayed a bit thinking about Jessy, 'How talented and versatile she is, and this disgusting leach is so lazy.'

"Rosanna, you amaze me sometimes, I can't imagine going through my day without breakfast."

Wanting to explain to him, "Brent, when I woke up it was late, and the breakfast table was already cleared away, I didn't have time to fix my own, so I hurried across here."

At that moment Jessy enters Brent's office, "Here you go Sir, you seem hungry this morning?"
