BEING OUTWITTED

When the clock struck eleven Jessy became agitated, thinking it was already so late. Wanting to get some answers she snapped but concealed her rage and responded in a very subtle tone.

"How is it possible, you two look so intelligent. I can't believe you two could be so stupid, I still can't believe you are ready to go to jail for just a measly twenty thousand dollars?"

Jessy couldn't help but observe the shock on their faces when they heard her words. Taking advantage of their weakness she said without blinking, "Now, I don't know about you two, but it's time for me to sleep, so I am giving you just one minute to reveal the truth. Also, if you know what is good for you, call her now if you care for your well-being. If you cannot do that then I am calling the police."

Jessy notices the way they both look at each other and then looks at her. She didn't allow them to make any requests.

She pointed her finger "Oh, and one other thing, I want you to tell her the job was done, and you want your money right now, and you'll be waiting at the variety store across the street in twenty minutes."

Observing their hesitation Jessy said, "You have fifty seconds," Hearing her count down he hurriedly made the call, Jessy warned them not to try any smart shot or they would go to jail.".

Both were stupefied by how quickly she moved as soon as the call was completed.

With the wound, they didn't get the chance to shake a leg. Like a flash, she got duct tape and banded their feet and hands. 'Oh God, she is too clever and now we are outwitted and are in big trouble. '

She then went and got her phone and took photos of them. With a smile, she said, "Now if you are lying, this is my proof and I will be going straight to the police."

Opening the front door Jessy escorted them out one by one, only they had to jump with their feet bound together. Hearing their complaints Jessy ignored them.

She returned and then made a call from the landline before closing the door and opening the front gate.

Leading them across the street she didn't expect anyone lazing around this late, especially with the business closed.

Jessy glanced at the gentleman wondering if he was also a member of this duo gang.

Not taking her eyes away from he seems to be unconcerned as he continues sitting in a chair smoking a cigar.

When he stood up so swiftly, becoming alert, she put on her alert mode. But what caught her attention was how he kept his eyes off the two young men. He seems unfamiliar with them.

Johnny realized his shortcomings as an investigator and ignored their disappearance. 'The young lady could have gotten badly hurt because of my neglecting to check properly.'

Thinking about it now Johnny comes to his realization of failing in his duties. 'I disregard the way they were scoping her apartment. Now they are bound in duct tape,' he shifted away as though he wanted nothing to do with what was happening.

What was more amazing was the young lady Boss asked him to keep his eyes on looked very dominating and in control. Up close she is uniquely beautiful, 'But how on earth was she able to capture these two?'

Keeping a fair distance, Johnny took two photos of the three and forwarded them to Boss. When he turned around to look in from the side. He only saw the two men sitting by the table and the young lady was nowhere in sight.

When a black car stops suddenly a young lady steps out and walks to the table where the two men are sitting. She seemed angry as she snorted out as she slammed the envelope on the table. "Do you think I wouldn't pay you? Now tell me where is she? I must speak to her about disrupting other people's business."

She was behaving so ambivalent that it slipped her attention that something wasn't right. At no time did it occur to her that something was off when out of the blues a white Supersoolon stopped in front of her vehicle and a black Mercedes Bent at the back.
