The two young men scaled over the fence at the back gate and entered the premises. They quietly checked the windows and door at the back to find entry.
In the bedroom, Jessy lifted her head from the drawing feeling her neck pain a bit. In the stillness of the night, it was only the ticking of the clock that could be heard. Other than that it was only silence,
While Jessy was securing the drawing she glimpsed a shadow moving outside her window, She shifted aside knowing now was not the time to panic when she heard footsteps moving away from the window.
Becoming conscious of the time and the invasion, she eased to the dining area keeping out of sight.
Jessy stood quietly in the dark and listened carefully, to know their exact position. She didn't want to alert whoever it was that she was awake.
Having no idea who to call she silently concocted a plan and waited. Jessy didn't move, she waited in the dark for an opportunity
When the window latch was finally prized open, she knew immediately that that young lady at the supermarket had followed her. Never mind that now, they will have to suffer for following the wrong path.
Whispering a silent prayer Jessy waited to see how many attackers she would have to fend off.
She was rubbing her hands and stretching her feet for a little warm-up. With a smile, Jessy figured out that her guess was right hearing their whispers as they walked inside. Confirming in her mind who the real mastermind behind this attack was
Adjusting her eyes to the darkness Jessy waited patiently to see how many were there.
In the silence, they walk towards the direction of her room. Observing it was only two intruders she smiled but her eyes were cold as ice. Jessy didn't wait any longer as they approached closer to her she stretched her right leg and caused the one in front to stumble and fall.
When the one following behind swung his hand Jessy dodged swiftly and punched his chest.,
The intruder stumbled backwards and stared at her in shock.
The dining room was so silent you could hear a pin drop. The other red-haired intruder who fell stumbles to his feet thought, 'What a punch!' He gaped stupidly at Jessy.
Having no idea if that punch was just a fluxed or if this young lady could fight. "No, no, this can't be happening, that's impossible! She must have just hit him by mistake I am sure about that."
When his partner said in a vicious tone, "What are you waiting for, attack!"
Seeing him nodded then he whispered, "Yes, you are right, we have little time."
Pulling himself together, Kane took a quick step and delivered a swift punch at her.
Without fear, Jessy blocked and struck him an elbow directly on his ribcage without even giving him a second thought.
Hearing him groan loudly as he cried out in pain before he landed on the floor once more.
His partner in crime gaped and launched an attack, Jessy was alert and ready and stretched her left foot forward hitting him directly in his stomach.
His cry was even louder than his partner's because of the force, his fall was another blow when he landed directly on top of his partner. Hearing him squeals like a pig when his elbow suddenly strikes his ribcage.
Jessy shouted at them, "Tell me who sent you to attack me?"
Hitting the red-haired man, "Speak up right now or I am going to call the police right now."
He stutters, "Ma'am, please stop, we are truly sorry, so please don't call the police." Jessy was determined to know the truth, "If you don't want me to call the police then I am giving you one chance."
Looking at them Jessy demanded, "Speak up, it is getting late and I have to work tomorrow."
Jessy observed the fear in his eyes as she stuttered, "Look Ma'am, the person called us and told us to hurt you, we don't know her and for what reason she wanted us to hurt you."
Jessy was no fool, she knew they were lying, "If that is the case, tell me how much she's paying you."
"Ma'am, she is paying us twenty thousand."
Hearing that Jessy couldn't help but laugh, but she could also see their desperation being caught in such a web.
