It was as if time itself was against me for reasons unknown to me. After that embarrassing episode with Kael, If it was possible to turn into a badger mole, I would have. Because it was fucking embarrassing. I didn't know how to face him. I thought of many ways to avoid him without being questioned by my friends about my weird behaviour. At one point I opted to skip supper just to avoid him but it wasn't possible. I somehow managed to avoid meeting him in the dining hall but Lowell threaten to tell on me, I had never eaten with such speed in my life but I quickly finished my meal and took to my heels as if I was being chased. I was soo scared to accidentally bump into him somewhere on campus. As I was walking back to the prep room, my eyes were all over the place, scanning my environ watching every path ahead of me just to make sure I don't bump into him. I felt goosebumps all over my skin, my nerves were on high alert. Up till now, I couldn't even understand why I put soo much effort into avoiding you. I couldn't understand why I felt embarrassed, shy, and nervous. It was just you....but I felt really scared to face you.

I had a feeling that I could even pass out if you approach me carelessly. Excitement, panic, tension, frenzy, and nervousness...were the dominant feelings coursing through my mind and body. I finally managed to get to the prep room unseen and I thought ' ah I'm saved '. Oh, how wrong I was to have felt a sense of relief. I was relaxing on the balcony of the prep room with a friend and I happen to see you passing. You were going in the direction of the dining hall and I was happy that I managed to avoid running into you.

I later saw you and Lowell walking in the direction of your dorms and I was like ' yes, I can finally relax now. There's no chance of us meeting today.' Since both boys and girls prep in separate buildings, I thought I did a good job of avoiding you.

But I was dead wrong. The moment I felt relieved and decided to take my eyes off your movement, that was the time you decided to show up and I didn't know what to do. I had my head down and Marie was standing beside me. I saw and heard footsteps coming up the stairs but I paid no mind to it, the footsteps stopped right beside Marie and I thought it was one of her school relations. Before I realized it, there were footsteps in front of me. I was absentminded for a while so I hadn't processed what I had seen. I knew feet were in front of me but it wasn't clear to me that someone was in front of me. It's weird, right? I know. Your scent brought me back to my senses and I realized that you were nearby but it was too late to run, you had me cornered. When I raised my head, you were right there in front of me. Our gazes met and I quickly avoided your gaze. All I wanted to do was to run away or if possible dig a hole or something. All I knew was that I wasn't ready to face you.

I have always been able to recognize you just by your scent alone. Even in my sleep, I could tell whether you were around or not. You have this alluring scent which smells good, I don't know if it's only me but I like it a lot. I will always steal a sniff whenever I get the chance to hug you. Sometimes I felt reluctant to let you go. That's how much I'm drawn to your scent.

You caught me. I had no means of escape. I don't clearly remember what went on after but I remember you asking me to look at you and me avoiding your gaze several times. I had completely forgotten that we were in the presence of others. At the moment, all I could see and hear was you. It may sound cliche and fairytale-like but it happened. It felt like my surroundings were blurred out, remaining only the two of us. It felt magical but also nerve-wracking at the same time. I wanted to escape soo many times but you blocked me. The more I wasted time with you, the more I felt embarrassed and shy. And your smile wasn't helping at all. Your smile that was filled with mischief and naughtiness made me feel like prey caught in the hands of its predator. Your eyes had this glint of excitement in them. It was as if you enjoyed seeing me squirm and trying soo hard to avoid you. Every time you forced me to look into your gaze, I saw how much you were enjoying this. You made me feel so small. You mischievous and sadistic wolf in a sheep's garment. Hmph!...

But as if mother luck decided to bestow her grace on me, I somehow managed to escape and run to the prep room. I was betting everything on the fact that you won't be crazy enough to follow me inside the girl's prep room and I guess you could but decided not to. Juju later tried to persuade me in coming out but I refused and you came behind the windows of the prep room and tried to get me out by threatening to come inside but I still refused. I went to my seat sat down and placed my head on the desk. I tried calming myself down. To be honest, If I had stayed a Lil bit longer, I will have shed tears. It's a stupid thing to do. I know, but I couldn't help it. The tears were right under my eyelids, a Lil blink, and they would have come gliding down my cheeks. You watched me for a while and then you left. After you were gone, I came out and my friend asked why I behaved that way, I told her I didn't want to meet your gaze. And it was true. I knew I would have to face you one way or the other but I wasn't quite ready yet. I had only Just confessed my love a day before and the fear of being rejected was soo high that I needed time to prepare myself for the rejection. Looking back on it, I wonder why I was soo fixated on rejection instead of the possibility of acceptance or acknowledgement.

After that drama, it was finally time to start prep and I decided to put the thought of you aside for the meantime and focus on studying. Through that whole drama, Marie was quietly observing me and she later asked what all that was about and I told her the truth. I told her I confessed my love to you and that I became embarrassed to look you in the eyes. All that she said was that if I had told her before confessing she would have helped and I wouldn't have felt embarrassed. But I later found out what she meant by the ' help' she referred to, she meant for me to be her replacement ... But that's another story for another time. And I also have a question that I have been needing an answer to but am too shy to ask. 'What did you think of my awkward confession? How do you see it?'How did you feel about it?' They are questions that I'd like answers to.
