Kiera's POV(Continued)
The sound of someone ringing the doorbell at the front door vibrated through the house and I shoved the duvet off me. Lord Chan landed nimbly on his feet and followed me as I padded out of my room. Who in God’s name had had the great idea to have the doorbell connect with every single part of the house?
Still grumbling at the thousands of migraines I will be getting each time we have a visitor, I yanked the door open.
Standing on the other side in a green mini gown cut to fit her perfectly and sparkling white boots was Sarah.
“Hi Kiera!” She chirped and proceeded to drag me into a hug.
“H-hi.” I stuttered. Of all the people I expected at my front door, it certainly wasn’t her.
“Hey there Kiera.” A less chirpy voice announced.
Turning my head, I found myself on the contemplative gaze of Tara.
“Hi to you too. What are you guys doing here?”
“Why didn’t you come to school yesterday?” Sarah demanded, totally ignoring my question.
