Not So Great Chapter

It would be cool if I got sleep, without distraction. I am afraid I can't ignore the guy so I had to wake up from my 10 second nap.

"What is it?" I asked as nicely as possible.

"Please extend my gratitude to your father for sending me home yesterday."

"Ok."

I can see his face wanting me to ask what happened but it's probably something like, he saw an evil ghost and was saved by my father. I know this sh*t already.

I would be doomed if I got reincarnated into a comic that I didn't recently read smh.

"Hey–" He got cut.

"Franz! I need to talk to you!"

Did I mention Rianne is not our classmate. For her to come here and call out for the male lead, she must've planned to make him her contract partner.

Wait, I didn't harass her so why did the plot go the same way?

"James. Can you record what they're gonna do–" I saw him with his camera already.

Almost everyone tries to spy on those couples but usually, James has his way and gets the front seat as he should. I am not interested since the dialogue will go the same way again but I live for drama. Let me know who replaced me to annoy her to death.

Bio: In the comic, her role was Female lead new best friend. Her role is helping the female lead when she needs help for her date with the male lead. She's always seen being near the female lead so the female lead is always secure. Warning: the character is a bit special.'

"Why?" I have to ignore the last part of the bio and answer her, don't I?

"Mainly because of the rumours about you liking her. I thought you would check out your new rival."

No thanks, to be honest.

I understand her perspective on believing the rumours but why is she talking to me just because of that? I thought she only cared about Rianne. She is just minding her own business by staring at the ceiling so I guess I shouldn't be bothered by whatever she does.

Out of nowhere, everyone came back so that means people find out 'Rianne asked Franz out'. I looked around but Sabrina was nowhere to be seen. Weird. James came back with his camera and it seems like he reached the rooftop first and managed to hide while recording the conversation between those two…

"Seems like people heard the part where Rianne asked Franz out only but they didn't hear the part where Rianne mentions that a certain guy from our class is harassing her and she needs help from Franz to be her fake boyfriend." James explained.

So, I don't even need the recording.

"He used to hang around you before you lost your memories. His name is Luke."

Bio: He is Charles's minion. He used to hang out with Charles due to the fact he got paid by Charles to help him harass the female lead. Because of the changes you made, out of boredom, he decides to disturb the female lead and he just flirts with her but he doesn't really fall for her. In the comic, he ends up working with Franz and dates Franz's sister.'

I totally forgot how lucky this guy is. I still remember the shock I felt when I found out one of Charles' minions turned sides and ended up with Franz's sister. Like seriously, that guy is luckier than me in every aspect.

"So, currently Franz and Rianne are 'together', right?"

"Hm? No. Apparently, some people spread the rumours that Franz was so stunned that he accepted Rianne silently but the guy just stood there dumbfounded. If you watch the recording, he didn't give her answer but Rianne had forced him to walk with her starting tomorrow."

Plot is changing again, I guess.

In the real comic, Rianne had proposed a good deal that made Franz accept her and he did the first move by inviting her to walk home after school. Don't ask me about the deal, I don't remember.

"Actually, she didn't force me. So I can just not walk with her." Franz said.

The sudden presence of Franz made me jump out of my chair. Glad that James caught me on time. I don't have to die like this! My heart is only one! Don't do this to me!

"You seem to be interested in what is happening just now." Franz takes his seat and looks me in the eyes.

"Not really. I am just invested in some drama happening daily." James helped me sit back down and then, he walked away.

What a kind friend.

"I need to stop the rumours first. I am not dating her."

"Good luck."

"Won't you help me?"

"Should I?"
