Two Way

"That creature should have run this way!"

Adred's group has targeted a ferocious monster believed to be an evil creature deliberately causing trouble, but their arrival is noticed by the Resoaring Wolf. The monster immediately fled at lightning speed, chasing after him was exhausting.

One step meant tens of steps for the Resoaring Wolf, there would be no way they could catch up at ordinary speed.

Two days passed.

A foul smell began spread to their noses, touching very gently and spreading an unpleasant smell.

"What's this scent?" asked one of the long-bearded members who was an axe-wielding warrior.

Everyone covered their noses.

Their eyes glanced around looking for the origin of the smell, at one point there was a strange black object lying on the ground. Without further ado, they immediately approached the object.

The smell grew so fierce even the two of them couldn't keep getting closer. There was vomit liquid coming out from their mouths.

Adred growled. "Who exactly did this? How could this monster be defeated by someone else?"

Adred was sure that the one who defeated the monster was not an extraordinary person, it was impossible for hunters or adventurers would just leave the monster's body lying around. It is certain that the monster has a valuable item, it will be a loss if the monster's body parts are just left. Most of them would immediately mutilate each monster in order to obtain body parts that could be sold or used as tools to complete the manufacture of fighting equipment.

Adred glanced left and right, there were no significant marks for a fight against a fairly high level monster.

While traveling with Arzlan, Alisha was really tested by various things. The level was already high, but the price to pay was the tension that could take her life at any moment.

Alisha has reached level 23 while Arzlan has reached level 38, a drastic physical increase can be felt by the girl, not only physically but her ability to read enemy attack patterns can be done well.

Arzlan himself became much more mature in his movements, he was so reliable every time he used his sword. Now the sword looks full of rust, the iron is not intact anymore. Do not know how long he can use the sword.

One week had passed, now they were at the side of a river that had a calm flow. Lying the Scale Bear that Arzlan was sitting on his head, the creatures got slashed several times from their weapons.

About 6 meters away from Arzlan, Alisha washed her clothes. Luckily, there were trees and ground that fell so that man couldn't see Alisha's body shape. After all, who wants to see it, Arzlan never thought to do that.

Arzlan continued to do the same thing, which was to open and close his palms.

"Hmm... how long this time, it's still a few weeks until the equipment is finished!"

Arzlan's goal is to find enemies from the Demon Lord Army, but so far he hasn't found any truly powerful creatures. All are just creatures that come from the forest, they do live wild there.

Alisha plunged her body into the still water, not wrapped in a single cloth. The chill she felt really calmed her mind. "Huh… I haven't taking bath a long time, it feels so good to be able to relax like this!"

She had become accustomed to smelling the fishy smell of blood from the monsters she fought, the smell was still ringing in her head.

Thinking of that made the girl dip her head halfway into the water until it covered her mouth.

"Will I be able to become strong enough to be his partner?"

During the fight against monsters, honestly Alisha didn't do much help. It was always Arzlan who defeated the monsters, even this time when fighting the Scale Bear, the creature's claws nearly injured her.

About 40 minutes, Alisha finished bathing and her clothes were also dry. She cleaned her white skin using a white cloth piled with other equipment, gently rubbing the cloth on every wet part of the body.

After finished, she immediately put on her clothes and went to Arzlan's place, how surprised that girl was to see what happened. There wasn't just one monster lying there, but there were more than five monsters. Cuter Wolf is a creature that is hooked by the smell of Scale Bear's blood, attacks in groups and is very aggressive.

Arzlan stood in front of all the corpses of the monsters, the battle had just ended, the blood dripping from his sword still visible.

"Master Arzlan!" said Alisha softly.

Arzlan glanced sharply behind him. "What's the matter?"

"Was there an attack earlier?"

Arzlan turned his gaze to one of the Cuter Wolf corpses. "Yes, they are creatures that are willing to eat this huge monster, but have miscalculated. I am here to be the angel of death for them!"

"Oh, I see!" Alisha did not feel the warmth of Arzlan's attitude, that man seemed to no longer have the feeling as a living being.

"What do you think happened in this forest?" asked one man of his group.

They stared pensively at the fire that continued to burn blindingly.

"Lately the forest seems to have lost a powerful monster waiting for us!" replied Adred.

"Is that the doing of another monster?"

"No, it's too neat! Every dead monster looks like it was attacked by an adventurer or a knight, but why didn't he take the body away?"

The bearded man spoke up, "According to my experience, people who do this only want to reach the highest level. The experience given by each strong monster is quite large, if you keep doing it they will reach a very high level!"

Everyone was silent, the man's words made a lot of sense. So far, there has been no sign that it was an adventurer with a certain quest.

"If like that, I will lose my chance to defeat them! Whatever happens, I want to reach the highest level as soon as possible!" Adred's hands clenched tightly as evidence of his annoyance.

Everyone could only be silent, they understood that Adred didn't want to lose to anyone.

The next day, Arzlan and Alisha's journey continues. They finally arrived at a different area, there was a village that looked so shabby. Everything looks scary, the houses there already look neglected.

"What happened in this village?" asked Alisha.

"Looks like something happened here and then it was just abandoned!"

From the front, a strange aura was felt, an aura that was so thick and unpleasant.

Arzlan narrowed his eyes after seeing a mysterious figure standing in an unsteady position.

"Ugh..."
