The Power Can Eat Soul

It's quite natural that in a village that looks destroyed there is a monster that inhabits it, the monster is not from outside the village but from a villager that has died. The corpses of living creatures if left unchecked their chance of turning into undead was 45%, but it all depended on conditions.

Some people believe that beings who become undead are those who don't rest peace in death, those infected with other undead are likely to become undead, but there are also other factors that actually make them undead.

The undead started to attack, its legs forced to rush towards Arzlan and Alisha. The staggering motion is funny enough, but that only applies to leisure time.

They waited too long, Arzlan started to take action. As fast lightning that man sped away then slashed his sword.

With a loud sound while the sword slashed at the undead's neck, that creature was still able to attack even if its head had been removed.

"Shadow Slash!"

Now every slash that uses the dark energy in Arzlan's body will absorb power against his opponent, this ability is very useful against strong enemies, even though it only absorbs, but the effect will be even greater if you continue to use it.

The undead's body emitted black smoke that kept coming out, slowly that undead disappeared into the wind.

"Gaargh..."

Not just one, but the village was already filled with undead. They immediately moved towards Arzlan and Alisha.

"Burning Fire!"

Alisha tried to burn them with flames that spread rapidly towards the undead, every undead hit by the flames didn't show any reaction.

"Uh? Why is it like this?" asked Alisha.

"Attack core, the undead have a core that is their own soul. If you attack the cores they will probably be defeated!" replied Arzlan.

Alisha started to move, the girl fearlessly slashed one undead until she was able to release that undead's head. However, as before it was useless to attack the head or body, as long as there were cores they would not be able to be defeated.

"Fire Slashes!"

Alisha twisted her body along with the sword that was blazing fiercely, the monsters surrounding her were engulfed in flames. The resulting effect gave the undead a slight fear, but it didn't too long because the undead kept moving towards her.

One by one Alisha managed to stab her sword into the undead core, but it wasn't as easy as turning her palm. If the attack wasn't too strong then the undead would still be alive this is happening now to Alisha, that girl's sword was blocked by the undead she stabbed.

The other undead took the opportunity to attack.

Alisha had to act quickly, but without weapons she wouldn't be able to do much actions.

"Dark Eaters!"

A red-eyed black shadow shot out from Arzlan's body, the black monster started to eat every undead in its path.

The attention of the undead around Alisha became diverted, at that moment was the chance for that girl to retrieve her sword again.

"Fireball!"

Pushed down the undead, Alisha's hand immediately pulled out the stabbed sword. However, at the time Alisha was ready to return to battle, all the undead had been defeated.

The bodies of the undead were eaten by Arzlan's power. Alisha turned to that man, she became shocked because the man was already kneeling with gasping breaths.

Alisha instantly approached Arzlan.

"Master Arzlan are you all right?"

"Yes!"

That answer was the last before Arzlan fainted.

Everything felt like floating, Arzlan saw around him there was only an endless dark room.

"Where am I?"

"Hehehehahahaha..."

That sinister laugh echoed throughout the room, chills Arzlan hearing it. He wondered who was letting out such a terrible laugh.

"Looks like you just got tired!"

Arzlan already understood who the owner of the voice was. "What Darkness do you want?"

"Don't worry, I'm not here to eat you!" Arzlan's attitude surprised Darkness quite a bit, before that the man was even more frightened when he heard his voice.

"Then, why did you call me to come here again?" Arzlan seemed to stop in the middle of the atmosphere, but it was only for a moment, his body suddenly plunged at high speed.

A strong wind blows like jumping from a tall building.

"Uh?"

Strangely enough, everything that happened was so brief. When Arzlan opened his eyes again, he was already in the same place only his legs could be used to stand.

"Heahahaha… how about it? Have you been scared?" The red eyes popped out at the same time the words were spoken.

Arzlan looked up to see red eyes glowing in the darkness. "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to see you, you seem to have gotten stronger since the last time we met!"

Arzlan was silent with a sharp gaze.

"Okay, let's get to the point! I summoned you because you don't seem to be able to use the Eater's power yet! Eater is a wild creature created from yourself!"

"Wait, weren't you the one who gave this power?"

"No, I'm just triggering it for you to use it. It's the grudge within you that makes it appear, each being has its own power, and your power is a form of true darkness just like mine! You have to be careful with Eaters, the more often you eat the souls of other beings, the greater the burden of darkness you have to bear. The real problem is with your body, you don't know how long your body will last against every dark soul you keep using!"

Arzlan narrowed his eyes. "Heh… do you think I care about that? As long I'm strong enough, I'll still use this power to take revenge on them!"

"Heahaha… so interesting! Honestly you are the one who really surprised me, it's not wrong that I chose you!"

At the end of the sentence, Arzlan was a little confused.

"Well, I just wanted to say, the more you eat the body of a living creature, the stronger the effect of the dark soul within your body becomes. That skill is Dark Eater!"

Arzlan's eyes instantly opened in different places. "Uh!"

"Master Arzlan, you are awake!"

From the side Arzlan saw Alisha who was looking at him with a worried face, it was certain that the girl already experienced tremendous anxiety during his fainting.

"Yeah, I feel good now!"

Alisha sighed as she said, "Thank goodness..."

Arzlan looked at his palms. "Hmm… can I really use that power?"

Still ringing Darkness' words in Arzlan's head, some words were confusing enough for him to understand.
