Bai Chen arrived at class late. There was a new teacher that was teaching the class and everybody paid attention to the teacher.

Immidiately he entered the class,all the girls squealed loudly.

"Big brother Ah[1] Chen!!!..."

"My idol is here!...I thought that I'd never make it through this class!"

"*sigh...Ah Chen is so cool!!"

" He's academically the best in the whole school!!"

" Even the junior section are his fans!"

" I wonder why he's late today..."

" Does it matter?!... At least he made it now!"

The teacher had to settle down the students and shot Bai Chen a dirty look. Bai Chen rubbed his nose guiltily.

But that simply gesture caused everyone that had quietly sat down to erupt again.

"So handsome!!"

"My good! my poor heart can't take it anymore"

"Hubby!!"

" Take me with you!!"

" This class was worth it!!"

Some of the boys of the class were disgruntled by the display of affection of the girls in the class. They started nagging quietly.

So what if he's handsome and very intelligent?!

Bai Chen quickly went to his seat that was situated close to the window and paid attention to the remaining class while taking notes. At some point,the girls close by would sneak peeks at him and blush hard.

Suddenly he felt a pen poking his arm and he looked up to see a girl handing him a small piece of paper, blushing. He good naturedly collected it and smiled faintly at her. She held her chest stunned by his "harmless" smile.

He quietly unfolded the paper and saw what she wrote. He had to admit...she was hopelessly romantic and had a good handwriting.

' Eyes as deep and clear the refreshing lake,

Out of the blue, the teacher suddenly called his name abruptly."Young master over there with a green hair! come solve this matter on the board" He had been watching Bai Chen flirting in class.

The girl suddenly panicked,and shot him a worried look. Bai Chen didn't say anything and stood up giving her a reassuring gaze. He slowly and casually picked up the white board marker and started solving the question on the board with flourish.

The teacher assessed the value on the board in respect to the one in the textbook he was holding. The class held their breath when the teacher furrowed his brows. Some of the boys who were jealous of Bai Chen started to nitpick him.

"*Tsk... just because he is handsome and they think he's academically good,he thinks that he's a real deal"

" Utter rubbish!! He obviously got the answer wrong!!"

" Hahahaha... let's see how cocky he can act when the teacher tells him that he did nonsense"

" I'll eat my hair if he gets this right! "

The teacher was stunned by the answer and looked at Bai Chen like as if he found a rare gem."You... Your method of solving this question is advanced level method!!! Clearly on par with a lecturer's intelligence..." He mumbled.

" What is your name son?!"The teacher enquired.

" Bai Chen,sir"

" Haha!! You must be the legendary student the principal was talking about the other day!! I'm professor Willow and I'm a college professor acting as a new teacher here!"

The teacher paused for a second and asked him" If you don't mind son,can you stop by at my office for some chat?I'd love you to work on a science project for the international competition year!"

The boys who had earlier on picked on him were flabbergasted. The teacher's words had clearly slapped their faces swollen.

The girl who had given Bai Chen the paper was impressed and smiled happily. The girls were so impressed that they squealed muffling sounds.

Closing time, everyone left for their various houses in rich cars and vehicles.

Moonstone High school was one out of the best prestigious highschool in the city.

Known for its limitless luxury and superb education, it was a very difficult highschool to gain admission into. Not all rich children could pass the criteria unless the children were gifted in intelligence or talent.

Bai Chen was one of the most luckiest students to gain admission in the school due to his high IQ and brilliant ideas. He was the number one genius and pride of Moonstone High school.

He walked out of the school gate with his bag slung over his shoulder and his other hand in his pocket. This gave very striking effect on the passerbys. He was waiting for his other friend who had caused him trouble today.

"Bro Chen!..." A sweet blossoming little voice rang behind him and he turned to see who was that. It was Shao Ran running towards him in her clumsy, yet cute steps.

His eyes softened at the scene of her running towards him. She missed her steps and fell towards the floor, but he caught her and steadily help her stand.

"Shao Ran... watch your steps" He spoke. "How are you doing today? " He smiled jovially and she blushed hard.

"F-fine... I have to go to the market today with my mum and shop for some food" She walked towards the car that had parked and entered the car, not forgetting to wave at Bai Chen.

He waved back too and smiled also. He then spotted the idiot that he had been waiting for since.

" Chen!... Bro how did you escape those gangs?" A short boy ran over to him and beamed. What he received was a swift slap behind his head from Bai Chen.

*Kpai!

" Yan Yu!!! You ignoramus!! How dare you go behind my back and get involved with the Qixu gang!!"

" I'm sorry...I was desperate for a little bit of money" Yan Yu mumbled apologetically, rubbing the back of his head that received the painful smack.

"Next time I'll leave you high dry until you learn your lesson!" Bai Chen fumed while walking away. Yan Yu immediately followed him like a puppy.

"Bro Chen... there's this really distant cousin of mine that likes you..." He started blabbering. Bai Chen held his forehead and sighed frustratedly.

This guy has started again!

Everytime,Yan Yu always tries to matchmake him with different girls from his family. First it was his sister...then his cousin....next his godmother's daughter and now...

Another freaking distant cousin from God knows what generation!
