------------ Balonor's POV: --------------
At this time, Banolor was being whipped by the War Lord for being disobedient, he kept getting beat up and made an example for all the other workers for defying orders and always pushing his luck. The other Uripon's were scared that the War Lord might end them with his wrath - Yet Banolor didn't feel any type of fear, only anger since this place is nothing but a prison to those of the Bulan people. He needed to get out and let them know that this place is not a good future. He doesn't have any type of cautiousness nor does he care about the consequences of his actions. It always was the same thing for him, he never once considered that his life might get harder or shorter due to how stubborn he is.
War Lord - You really are a stubborn fool, you think that the legend and history of your ancestor would save you? It's nothing but a hopeless dream, nothing but to give you false reality that somehow you would be able to escape and change the future of your people. You are merely a damn Uripon and you will become one till you die here.
He got kicked in the stomach and Banolor tried to block it with his arms, as he was sent into the wall, resulting in breaking his arm due to the impact of the kick from the War Lord.
Banolor - Damn it! My arm almost broke. That goddamn War Lord didn't even try to hold back. Oh well, might as well rest for a bit and think of a new plan. I can't have my body get beaten up all the time.
Even though Banolor knew that his pointless struggle would not benefit him in any way. He wanted to defy them even if he doesn't have power since he wanted to have some kind of purpose and an identity and a goal. He doesn't wanna accept the reality he was brought in. He wanted to change his people's future and the only way to do that is to first change himself. That's the only way for this work, in order for something to change. He needs to become that change.
Alon - Banolor, are you alright? You seem to have broken your arm. I have some medicine at my hut. We can try and ease the pain and treat it there.
Alon is another Bulan Uripon that grew up together with Balonor. Since they were kids, Alon has always been there with him and treated his wounds and kept being by his side.
Banolor - Thanks, I'm sorry for making you do this Alon. Even though that medicine was for yourself and your quota as a reward for working so hard from the mines. I am always the one kept using it for my selfish and impulsive nature.
Once they were at the hut, Alon would grip the bandanges tightly on Banolor's right arm and he flinched a bit and scream.
Banolor - Ow ow ow! Hey hey! be gentle with that! You know, I'm injured here! It might get worse if you keep doing that.
Alon - You deserve such a treatment, you always keep getting into trouble, and besides this is the only thing I can do for you. I am not as strong as you Banolor but you need to keep yourself alive. I don't want anything happening to you, so you need to feel my pain a little bit when you always keep getting yourself hurt.
Alon was able to patch Banolor's wounds and then let him rest for a bit from her bed. Alon sighed and sat down at the end of the bed, and touching Banolor's forehead to see if he has any fever. Thankfully he doesn't have one - Then Banolor looked at Alon for a bit and then smiled.
Banolor - I'm sorry about that, I just don't want to live like this anymore Alon. Always hiding from the mines, working for nothing and then dying just like that. I wanna change myself and all those around. I don't want them to suffer anymore.
Alon then sighed and giggled a bit, always saying the same thing. Alon admired Banolor's tenacity and his way of perseverance, since then she always made sure to stay by his side since she doesn't have the same strength he has. He always made sure that she would feel safe and comforted even if Banolor kept getting into trouble due to his impulsive nature and reckless personality as a person.
Alon - Well, there's nothing we can do about it yet. But whatever you decide Banolor, I'll always be there for you. Just don't push yourself too hard. I don't wanna lose you over something I can't control. But if you decide to do this, make sure to not never do this alone.
Banolor - Alright, I won't - We will always be together Alon. I promise to protect you and my people. Though, I gotta gather my strength first and see what I can do. Maybe I might be able to find something along the way while we work.
Alon - Rest for a bit, then continue working on the mines. I'll see you on the other side of the road.
After a bit of rest, Banolor then went into the mine and kept his work and quota with ease. Then, he discovered something unusual. He looked at the far distance a shining glow of a blue white orb floating at the end of the mine.
Banolor - What is that?
Banolor ran towards it and tried to get closer and looked at the content of the blue white orb. A white flash began to sunder and it form into a moon scroll and it was absorbed into Banolor's body. He didn't know what was that all about as he then sighed and felt a little bit unease yet he felt the power flowing through him. As the contents of knowledge of the Moon Arts was passed down into his mind.
Banolor - What was that. . . . . and how do I know this?
