Tears of joy

"Hey!

"Are you okay?"He asked impatiently.

"Did i say something offensive"

She just smiled and nodded while wiping her tears

She didn't want him to know how far he has gone to affect her.

Her heart was in surgery and the joy she was getting was mending every broken piece.

Her body failed to interpret that feeling. The tears she shed, didn't come from her eyes but the deepest chambers of her heart. It was a joyful cry.

But she lied

"I have been having headache since morning"

"i think i haven't rested enough" She insisted

.

"One minute!" He woke up and entered her studio then came back holding a glass of water

"Here! have some water, might help"

"Thanks" She said

"I think i should keep on going" she added up

"Really?" will you be okay driving by yourself or i can drop you there" He insisted

"No, am okay! i can handle this" She insisted with her smile while heading to her car.

"Erm! xandra" He stopped her on way

"Yes!"

her voice was calm and yet igniting.

He hesitated for a second and lastly he tried

"Would you join us on Sunday dinner please" we would love to see you!" He asked consciously and affectionately

"Really? a-aah!" she replied with her smile

"i will let you know on Sunday morning" She added up and entered her car with her smile.

deep inside her smile wasn't because of the sunday invitation but hearing him call her "xandra" she likes it, that way

She had frequently tried to force her friends and colleagues to call her that way but they have been calling her full name, that was weird and even her mother couldn't

"Wait? is that not the day you are having an appointment with Boby?" Her thoughts came on point"

"Ah! i will know what to do" She thoughtfully answered herself

"Boby was her co-worker and a best friend.

She shared with him her close issues. and Yes, really close issues.

They have shared alot of moments together as friends when they had business adventures or normal days at the office. he is the man she could always run for an advice, he was like a brother to her.
