Fire on fire
It was Friday morning when Xandra had a day off and she couldn't just wake up that earlier as other working days.
She was just tired. Working on the projects from her company with endless business meetings from monday. Her week was so tight
"Its 1030hrs "
"Gosh!" She sighed and prepared herself for a shopping.
There were no need for her to wear heels or overdo the accessories. she just needed something that was simple and relaxed.
Digging into her Clothes closet she came wearing white tshirt and jeans with her white sneakers. She then had some redos and undos of her simple make ups on her face.
She was pleased with what she saw on the mirror. It was simple but catastrophic
As she was coming back from shopping she saw Nick's car near their yard and stopped by.
Her intentions were so pure, though she was not sure of what she was doing but her thoughts were intact.
with her casual dressy she retouched her hairs and lips on the rear-view mirror before going out.
"Is he even around?" She tried to think but her doubts were cleared when she saw his craft studio opened.
"There you're" she smiled and walked
"He was inside his craft studio smoothening one of his current project that has to be displayed in an International exhibition in Beijing (IAE). It was magnificent, a glorious work of art
She suddenly saw his top half naked body
"Holy shi-t"
and rapidly she covered her eyes with both hands
"Am so sorry"
"Aww!" He fastly wore his t-shirt that was nearby him.
Her eyes were still covered!
"Am so so sorry, Nick" she was scared of what was going to happen next
"i didn't mean to..." She was totally embarrassed, meeting him that way.
Unfortunately she was just passing by to say hello. She cursed her fate for not knocking at the door.
"No, It's okay" he calmly answered her
"Wai-wai-wait! are yo-u?" She hesitantly asked
"The t-shirt nick"
"Haha" Jeezy!" he chuckled and pulled out her hands, but her eyes were steal closed
He enjoyed seeing her this way, the way she was worried it was dramatical and funny.
"Sure?" She calmly asked, she didn't want to be disappointed again
"Yep" He chuckled again seeing her eye still closed.
"
"Am so sorry" She added up
"I- I didn't expect to have this kind of a guest at this time!" He joked with his smile on face
"i was just passing by and thought i could say hello!"
She replied so innocently "Look! I didn't mean to.." she insisted lowering her face
"Can we.. just- talk outside" Nick asked with his smile still on his face and wondering what was going on in her mind.
Actually it was an accident and he didn't see any reason for keeping it in mind
"Sure!" They were now heading towards the bench outside.
"You look gorgeous!" i mean where you at work today?" He asked
"Nou! i had day off and i just went for shopping"
"Well, so how have you been?" He asked with concern and his smile again of which she couldn't resist but smiling back.
"Well, everything is good"
"am at my last stages of registering my own company, and soon i will be inviting yo to my office" She said so excitedly.
"Wow!" congratulations" new boss in town" He added up and the both chuckled.
"It is Nice to hear that" He added up
They made some stories and both of them seemed to be so happy talking to one another
Everytime Nick could raise a thing, she just had no reason but to laugh. It was fire on fire
"I guess i have been so awkward today" he dramatically said that lowering his head with a laugh.
He felt all disappointed on how he had exposed himself so fast like that. It's like he was powerless before her.
She missed the right answer to his question
be'se deep inside she was crying.
Her face could hide for a moment but as he was talking she found herself not handling them anymore
The joyful cry, But Nick was fast to see them before she wiped them off.
